umm, can I have another question partly related to this. I know I can save my house into ’my gallery’. Am I able to use this house to another sim when I create one in the future? I am not good at building but so sad to say goodbye to the house what I built. They are pretty for me and I would like my new sim live in it.

Hello @shatinn
You can have another sim household live in that home. If your home is still in the world, and other simmers aren’t living in it, you can move your new household into the home if they have the funds to afford it. If they don’t, you can use the cheat
freerealestate on
to make the home free to buy. If sims are already living in the home, you can evict them and move the evicted sim to another home. Then move your own sims in to the home.
If the home is no longer in the world, go into build mode on the lot where you want the home to be located, and open up the gallery. Then place the home onto the lot.
Happy simming !
@rosemow thank you so much to clear it up so I don’t make mistake and lose the house and my hard work to build/decorate it.
You’re welcome It is good to save your house to your “ library” section of the gallery, then you can use the house again in the same save or in another save game. You can also upload the house to the community section of the gallery if you would like to share it with fellow simmers . You upload it by pressing the cloud button on the item in your library.
Can you also save the lot with furniture, then sell the whole house and then you move to a bigger lot and place the lot with furniture?
Hello @TheDramon
Yes, you can do that When moving, choose the option to sell the furniture. Then when your sims have moved to the bigger lot, open the gallery, and place onto the lot the saved home from your library.
Also, welcome to the forums!

When you move your sims and choose the option to sell the furnishings, your sims will receive all the money of the value of the furnishings that they are leaving behind. Then you can download the lot from the gallery and place it on the new lot with all the furnishings.
Just in case anyone sees this thread again in the future, when you save your house to your library with all of your crafted items (paintings, wood works, upgraded items) it all gets transferred and there is no need to place them into your inventory when moving lots.
Hello! I’ll have to buy the house all over again though on the new lot, correct? As my house value is $183,699! 🙀
Hello @twilightblue Welcome to the forums!
You will need to buy the home again, but you can keep the home on the smaller lot until after your sims have moved to the new home. You can have them sell their furnishings when moving and this will help to pay for the home on the bigger lot.

Hello @Typical_Fox95
When you save your builds to your library, the plants and garden get saved also with the build.
