The inspiration for this starter came from @luckyheather with her Arabian Adventure house - So thanks to her! Usually don't bother with desert houses but after seeing her attempt I was inspired to build my own
Tumbleweed Starter is very nice! @Glitterbu The texture of the walls gives a great look and feel to the home. It looks very nice how the columns have been used in the build. The archway window in the single bedroom looks nice. The green and red colours of the beds add a nice touch of colour in the bedrooms.
It is a very nice starter
Very nice exterior design of Monochrome Starter! @Glitterbu The roofing looks great! The furnishing of the interior looks nice. The blue colour of the seating and green colour of the sink adds nice touches of colour to the rooms. Very nice windows sofa seat sitting nook. Sims will enjoy resting there with sunshine coming in onto them.
It is a very nice starter
@luckyheather - great and huge starter! Love all the natural light that comes through all the windows. Liked it in the gallery as it plopped up.
@Glitterbu Lovely starters - both Tumbleweed and Monochrome are beautiful starters! Inside and outside.
I build a family starter today and playtested it with a random CAS-Couple I equipped with six kids. What did I think? Honestly. I know now, why I build and hardly ever play. Six kids are a handfull... But anyway, here comes the house:
and this house includes a season craft table for kids, as well as a game table, a computer, a tv, an easel, a kiddie pool, some toys, a swingset, planters, a barbecue, outdoor seating, a guitar and an easel - so plenty of ways to skill and work from home...

@jhgkjhgkjh Wow, what a beautiful family starter, I'm impressed that you managed to fit so much into the house with that budget! - I'm the same I build and hardly ever play too
The exterior and layout of Affordable Starter is very nice! @jhgkjhgkjh It is a very nice family home! It is great that there is a swings set, kids pool, and llama tabletop game table for the Sims to enjoy using in the backyard, They would enjoy cooking meals on the bbq to eat outdoors in the sunlight. Very nice layout of the interior! The kitchen wall tiling looks nice and the flowers on the dining table are pretty for Sims to see whilst eating a meal. Very nice tv corner nook! Sims will enjoy reading a book from the bookshelf, or watching tv whilst resting on the sofa or enjoy playing the guitar. The girls prints and butterflies on the bedhead wall and colourful circles floor prints in the girls bedroom look very pretty! Very nice blue colour scheme of the boys bedroom . The elephant wall picture is cute!
It is a very nice family starter
Whoa @luckyheather I can't believe the 'get famous starter' is a starter! Amazing for under $20K, well done!
@Glitterbu - I love your little homes too - I finally got around to adding your link to the thread's original post, sorry for the delay, I went through a dark time for a few months.
If I have missed anyone else who has posted here, I do apologise! Please feel free to give me a poke, either here or by private message, and I will rectify the situation.
Thanks very much @elanorbreton it was handy that the vintage glamour windows are only $30 each and the black and white concrete floors are free and so is the clear/striped fence from dine out oh and the wall cover is a cheap bathroom tile at $2 a strip.
Your starter homes are very nice! luckyheather and superbibi11 Vey nice design of the exteriors, and layout of the interiors, I have been posting about them on your showcase threads, but just wanted to say again here that they are very nice homes for Sims to start their simming lives in.
@luckyheather your latest creation takes me right back to TS3. Reminds me so much of Lunar Lakes and the Futureshock collections. @superbibi11 what a cute little starter! Thanks for joining the thread, I have added you to the original post.
Thanks again @rosemow always good to hear from you.
Yes @QueenMercy it is as I needed free objects to add to the water spouts
Yes I see what you mean @eleanorbreton I do miss the 'Into The Future' objects and furniture. I enjoyed the sims 2 Aliens as well.
