Just to test to see if this helps the issue, try turning off laptop mode if you are using it and see if the flooring remains purple.

Is there any way to do this without turning off laptop mode? I know this isn't strictly about info but I can't run the game without laptop mode.

I though this was the best trailer I've seen out of any pack thus far. It's simple, no commentary or popular music playing. The message gets across easily too. I love it.
Though the fact that the dad has his arm on the table is just MIND BLOWING.
I need these animations even if it was just for the trailer sake.

At first I was like 'Oh, c'mon. I know you shouldn't put your arms on the table according to savoir-vivre, but give that poor Sim a break!'
But then I got it And I agree, it'd be nice to see these animations in game.
We didn't get anything for the pool really, so maybe in a pool party pack with slides and floating swans to lounge on, we'll get a pool party option too.
We have been told that hail is not a feature of this pack. We have no reason to think that a new weather type will be patched in.

I sure hope we don't get hail again. I have to keep it turned off in sims 3 it hurts and kills my vendors and my pets. So I was all smiles to see Sims 4 doesn't have it -

Maybe being in an apartment had to do with it, but I've played apartment families before & that never happened.
