Alexandra hurries downstairs and finds Jared outside talking with Derek. Jared smiles and holds his hand out to her as she comes closer "Hi, I needed to talk with you"

Alexandra squeezes his hand and bounces while she talks. "I need to talk with you also. You are not going to believe it. We are pregnant." she tells him smiling happily.
Jared is very surprised, excited and happy with the news and kisses his lovely wife. He also tells the baby hello and he is looking forward to meeting the baby.
"We've got to call your parents and let them know. Then call Brian and Melee. Oh my goodness, we have to get a nursery prepared also. Are you feeling alright? Is that why you had to rush out of the hot tub last night? Maybe you should be lying down?"
"Jared! Take a deep breath, please. Are you going to be a nervous Dad to be?"
Jared takes a deep breath and smiles sheepishly. I guess I did get a little rushed and nervous thinking too much all at once.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?"
"Ah, your news was so awesome it completely blocked my mind." Jared tells her about the conversation with Derek and how they talked about what happened after he left and how sad and hurt they both were. "I think we are going to be ok now. It was a great talk and I understand why he stayed away from me too and that he was hurt as well by my leaving like I did." He tells her about Derek quitting his job in order to come to the wedding and that Kendall was fired as she worked for the same firm and his parents have control over it.
"I'd like for them to stay with us for awhile if they would like it and of course if you wouldn't mind. Derek told me I needed to talk to you before inviting them and I think he was right about that. What do you think?"
"Jared we've got the third floor they can fix up and use as private quarters. It will give them more room than being stuck in the guest room, and of course we can share the rest of the house as needed. You know that won't bother me. I'm so happy that you guys talked it through. You both needed that. I think it is a great idea for them to stay. I know how much you missed him and we can get to know Kendall better. She seems perfect for him and I've enjoyed getting to know her."
Jared hugs her tightly to him. "That is exactly what I told Derek you would say. I love you Alexandra."
She hugs Jared tightly. "I love you Jared."
Derek and Kendall come outside and Alexandra shares the news of the pregnancy with Kendall and Derek. Jared lets Derek know that Alexandra is good with them staying. Derek said he mentioned it to Kendall and she agreed staying away from Roaring Heights would be a good idea. She loved the idea of staying here in Bridgeport and looks forward to getting to know them better.
Alexandra calls her Mom and Dad with the good news while Jared calls Brian and Melee. Everyone is very excited with the news and is offering advice and tips to the young couple.
Alexandra shows Kendall the room that will be converted into a nursery. "I bought the bookcase a long time ago, but, need to get the rest of the furnishings for a nursery now." They chat about current trends with nurseries and how important colors and sounds are for newborns.
Alexandra fixed Jared's favorite, hamburgers for dinner and he can't keep his eyes off her during dinner. After dinner the foursome played a game of dominoes and Kendall was the triumphant winner.
Kendall had a sudden wish to visit the cemetery in the moonlight. She wasn't completely eccentric enough to go alone so she talked to Derek and of course he said he'd go with her. They saw one ghost but left it alone. They did check out the bar below the mausoleum, but the bartender was absent. They went back to strolling in the moonlight and made out in the cemetery, both getting the kissed in the moonlight moodlet.
Jared and Alexandra went into the room that would be converted to a nursery and relaxed on the bed. They talked about their hopes and plans for the baby, discussed names for boys and girls, wondered if the baby would have her hair and his eyes. They also fooled around a bit too.
Liv teaches Chase to speak early one morning, and thought the boy made the most adorable faces as he talked!
The girls tried for a second baby in the hot tub, and heard chimes. I cheated, checked with mc, and don't need to use the fruit trick. The baby is already a female. They're going to have a little girl!
After getting inside from the hottub, Liv received a call from one of her moms, Helen. They spoke mostly about Chase, and about the fact that she and Kimbra were trying for another one. Little does she know there's one on the way!
Kimbra made some dim sum, which she put in the fridge for later.

I know Chase's toddlerhood wasn't very photo-full, but he has learned every one of his skills! His little sister is on the way, and as I decided I was going to give all of the children rather long childhoods, Chase's toddlerhood came to an end. His mother made a pumpkin pie to celebrate, as the birthday cake could not be used for some reason. Chase aged up well, and I chose the virtuoso trait for him to work with.
Oh no! His hair glitches at this age, causing his eyes to turn black! This is fixed next update, as I have had fake eyes in my costume makeup for a long time, and will give some to him.
By the way, Chase's favourite colour is yellow, and he loves Mac n Cheese!

but as Viviane loves her dog too I rather sent her at home after the zombie apocalypse of full moon night.
I really adore events like that, that makes me so emotional if I weren't under treatment I maybe fall crying like a river .that's why I love the open world, you often got the chance to live crazy or cute things in your town.
And that's one of the reason why I love the sims 3 and more the pets ep that everybody told me to get rid off because it's a monster EP badly made I always say No to miss these?

Sorry my comments dropped off toward the end there, but I had a lot of pages to catch up on.
I was with the Costers on Friday. They're settling into their new house wonderfully. Darla aged up to child. She looks almost exactly like her mom. Next time I play, I'll have to get her into a costume. I gave her regular clothes when I put her through CAS.
Saturday I was playing with the Blacks. Iris and Isabelle aged up to toddler. Iris looks almost exactly like Rufus, and Isabelle ended up with random blond hair. I'm leaving it as is for now. Harvey aged up to teen. I believe I still need to put him through CAS. Also, Ursa, the family's dog passed on, which leaves only Mitten as a family pet. I'll look into adopting another animal when I play them next. I have a picture of Harvey eating a muffin.
Last night I was with the Drakes. They had baby Dinah, another fairy. And I just realized what name I gave her... *face palm* Oh, well. Too late now. Cecily learned to drive. For the life of me, I can't remember the mom's name. I have a pic of Mom and Dad with baby Dinah in a crib in the background.

Oliver came to the house with a couple of cooking skill points and was the only one to roll a wish to prepare them when they finished breakfast
Rory's waking wish was to catch a bug but there were no active spawners on the map. He was very close to mastering the block table so I had him do that as it was his birthday and he wouldn't get another chance. I would have settled for 2 skill points but 3 is better
Lachie's waking wish was to finish a book but I didn't have any comic books he hadn't already read so I sent him for a jog since he had a wish locked in from the previous evening.
Oliver got his wish to prepare pancakes
Kenna also had a wish to finish a book so I gave her the recipe for ratatouille. Morna, being a bookworm, read while she waited for Oliver to be free.
Niall's waking wish was to play a game with Cain
Jordan mostly wandered or haunted during his visit.
When Lachie got back from his jog, I had him water the garden to unlock the gardening skill acquired from Scouts.
Since Niall still had his wish to level up and Cain was still working towards reaching level 8 in MA, I had the boys spar after their game of catch.

I have always found that my evil sims make wonderful fathers Apart from scaring and the silly wishes to donate to undermine causes, and the occasional wish to get into a bar brawl, evil sims are pretty tame but they do have the best expressions

@LunBeauty Thanks for the lovely comments To grow steaks, cheese and eggs you need to do a certain chain of gardening challenges. You can trigger them with MC. I can't remember exactly which ones they are but I am sure it's easy enough to look up. I haven't bothered with it in this save because my sims's lives are too short and I have those plants in my community garden.
I think there is only one male voice I can't stand.
Morna already has a boyfriend. They have been together since she became a teen. You would have seen them misbehaving in earlier updates. His name is Oliver.
I think it's the No Sense of Humor trait that makes them put other sims to sleep.
It's good that Autumn knows her dad and that he didn't mean anything bad about his complaining

I always give my evil sims the friendly trait to counter the evilness. They really are lovely sims and not evil at all, just a little cheeky
I really enjoy just leaving my sims to it. Apart from the occasional try for baby that I wasn't ready for, they don't get into trouble on their own.

I shouldn't have taken my eyes of these two because when I got back to them they were about to try for baby. I paused for a moment then decided to let them do it.
I saw something at the fishing pond and thought that perhaps the rod was left there when Fife was called back to the netherworld but realized that couldn't be so because I would have seen it sooner. I went into map view and found Jay (can't remember his last name) who has been visiting the family pond since he was a child. I changed his outfit and he became visible.
I laughed when I saw that Oliver and Morna had chosen the tent. Jay was in for a show! LOL
Nah, he was more interested in the rainbow trout he had caught
Jordan stood in front of Jay for a long time. I went into map view and found he was trying to ask Jay to group up with him.

@emorrill Thanks for the lovely comments I am careful when taking pics of Kenna because on some angles her thighs distort. I think it is because the dress was original an adult one that has been converted for teens. Most of the time her thighs look fine.

I found some active bug spawners and sent him to get his waking wish. He missed the first butterfly.
But he got his wish on his second try
After he caught the butterfly he got another wish he had rolled on finishing school for the day which was to meet someone new. He met Melissa Herrerra, Elspet's granddaughter.
The teens came home late because of after school activities. Kenna had Music and Lachie had Shop.
I looked outside and saw the grown ups playing catch.

I didn't check his muscle definition but it must be pretty high with those veins popping out on his arms! He looked so sad and I think it was because his father couldn't be there I still have his wish to get attention from dad locked in and as soon as one of them visits he will be woken!

Kenna had a wish to level up and Cain still hasn't got his wish to reach level 8.

So, I decided not to mess with my NRaas SP settings for now. The main reason I had installed that module in the first place was so I could experiment with rotational play. There are only two worlds where I've switched households on a regular basis: my Gentlemen Prefer Ghosts save (was in Mysterious Island, now in Côtes d'Ambonnay) and my recent World Travelers save (in my new Mysterious Island). I left my NRaas SP settings enabled for these two saves, including their caste settings. I disabled NRaas SP in the other 5 worlds where I had set it up. If I want to do something with those townies, I'll just use NRaas MC like I have in the past.
In the meantime, I've been back in Skyrim. There are a few things I wanted to do there. First of all, I enabled Survival Mode and added some mods that tweaked the effects and settings of that mode. Now my character has to eat, sleep, and stay warm while he travels. It's an extra bit of challenge for the game.

@Charlottesmom To answer your question. My first blood test was a 10 hour fasting draw, but the second followup didn't require fasting. The second test had better results though.

Jared and Alexandra went into the room that would be converted to a nursery and relaxed on the bed. They talked about their hopes and plans for the baby, discussed names for boys and girls, wondered if the baby would have her hair and his eyes. They also fooled around a bit too.
The Cowboy and the Mermaid
Liv teaches Chase to speak early one morning, and thought the boy made the most adorable faces as he talked!
The girls tried for a second baby in the hot tub, and heard chimes. I cheated, checked with mc, and don't need to use the fruit trick. The baby is already a female. They're going to have a little girl!
After getting inside from the hottub, Liv received a call from one of her moms, Helen. They spoke mostly about Chase, and about the fact that she and Kimbra were trying for another one. Little does she know there's one on the way!
Kimbra made some dim sum, which she put in the fridge for later.

Liv wakes up sick in the middle of the night, and wonders if they'd been successful in the hot tub!
I know Chase's toddlerhood wasn't very photo-full, but he has learned every one of his skills! His little sister is on the way, and as I decided I was going to give all of the children rather long childhoods, Chase's toddlerhood came to an end. His mother made a pumpkin pie to celebrate, as the birthday cake could not be used for some reason. Chase aged up well, and I chose the virtuoso trait for him to work with.
Oh no! His hair glitches at this age, causing his eyes to turn black! This is fixed next update, as I have had fake eyes in my costume makeup for a long time, and will give some to him.
By the way, Chase's favourite colour is yellow, and he loves Mac n Cheese!

@coco: It was I was SO HAPPY to see my girl and to be able to care of her through Miss V and she could stay as all she wished
but as Viviane loves her dog too I rather sent her at home after the zombie apocalypse of full moon night.
I really adore events like that, that makes me so emotional if I weren't under treatment I maybe fall crying like a river .that's why I love the open world, you often got the chance to live crazy or cute things in your town.
And that's one of the reason why I love the sims 3 and more the pets ep that everybody told me to get rid off because it's a monster EP badly made I always say No to miss these?

Sorry my comments dropped off toward the end there, but I had a lot of pages to catch up on.
I was with the Costers on Friday. They're settling into their new house wonderfully. Darla aged up to child. She looks almost exactly like her mom. Next time I play, I'll have to get her into a costume. I gave her regular clothes when I put her through CAS.
Saturday I was playing with the Blacks. Iris and Isabelle aged up to toddler. Iris looks almost exactly like Rufus, and Isabelle ended up with random blond hair. I'm leaving it as is for now. Harvey aged up to teen. I believe I still need to put him through CAS. Also, Ursa, the family's dog passed on, which leaves only Mitten as a family pet. I'll look into adopting another animal when I play them next. I have a picture of Harvey eating a muffin.
Last night I was with the Drakes. They had baby Dinah, another fairy. And I just realized what name I gave her... *face palm* Oh, well. Too late now. Cecily learned to drive. For the life of me, I can't remember the mom's name. I have a pic of Mom and Dad with baby Dinah in a crib in the background.

Oliver came to the house with a couple of cooking skill points and was the only one to roll a wish to prepare them when they finished breakfast
Rory's waking wish was to catch a bug but there were no active spawners on the map. He was very close to mastering the block table so I had him do that as it was his birthday and he wouldn't get another chance. I would have settled for 2 skill points but 3 is better
Lachie's waking wish was to finish a book but I didn't have any comic books he hadn't already read so I sent him for a jog since he had a wish locked in from the previous evening.
Oliver got his wish to prepare pancakes
Kenna also had a wish to finish a book so I gave her the recipe for ratatouille. Morna, being a bookworm, read while she waited for Oliver to be free.
Niall's waking wish was to play a game with Cain
Jordan mostly wandered or haunted during his visit.
When Lachie got back from his jog, I had him water the garden to unlock the gardening skill acquired from Scouts.
Since Niall still had his wish to level up and Cain was still working towards reaching level 8 in MA, I had the boys spar after their game of catch.

I think there is only one male voice I can't stand.
Morna already has a boyfriend. They have been together since she became a teen. You would have seen them misbehaving in earlier updates. His name is Oliver.
I think it's the No Sense of Humor trait that makes them put other sims to sleep.
It's good that Autumn knows her dad and that he didn't mean anything bad about his complaining

I always give my evil sims the friendly trait to counter the evilness. They really are lovely sims and not evil at all, just a little cheeky
I really enjoy just leaving my sims to it. Apart from the occasional try for baby that I wasn't ready for, they don't get into trouble on their own.

I shouldn't have taken my eyes of these two because when I got back to them they were about to try for baby. I paused for a moment then decided to let them do it.
I saw something at the fishing pond and thought that perhaps the rod was left there when Fife was called back to the netherworld but realized that couldn't be so because I would have seen it sooner. I went into map view and found Jay (can't remember his last name) who has been visiting the family pond since he was a child. I changed his outfit and he became visible.
I laughed when I saw that Oliver and Morna had chosen the tent. Jay was in for a show! LOL
Nah, he was more interested in the rainbow trout he had caught
Jordan stood in front of Jay for a long time. I went into map view and found he was trying to ask Jay to group up with him.
Jay kept right on fishing and eventually Jordan vanished.

Over-emotional Cain wiped away a tear or two
Niall smiled bravely as his first born committed herself to another man
Jay wandered over as well
I saw the pool in Niall's queue and when I checked on him a little later found him skinny dipping.
After a while he changed into his swimwear so he could dive
I found Oliver and Morna in the basement. I don't need to worry about them trying for baby again since you can't get more pregnant than pregnant
Rory came home early and did his homework.
I found some active bug spawners and sent him to get his waking wish. He missed the first butterfly.
But he got his wish on his second try
After he caught the butterfly he got another wish he had rolled on finishing school for the day which was to meet someone new. He met Melissa Herrerra, Elspet's granddaughter.
The teens came home late because of after school activities. Kenna had Music and Lachie had Shop.
I looked outside and saw the grown ups playing catch.

When Rory unhid his cooking skills, he rolled a wish to learn a fish recipe so I gave him the recipe for fish and chips. He got upset when he couldn't get to the chair he had chosen because Kenna and Cain were sparring. Silly boy! They were sparring before I gave you the book! Kenna had a wish to level up and Cain still hasn't got his wish to reach level 8.
I'd seen Morna and Oliver going into one of the bedrooms but it wasn't long before Morna came out to throw up.

In the meantime, I've been back in Skyrim. There are a few things I wanted to do there. First of all, I enabled Survival Mode and added some mods that tweaked the effects and settings of that mode. Now my character has to eat, sleep, and stay warm while he travels. It's an extra bit of challenge for the game.
Traveling through a chilly region of Skyrim.
Taking a break to warm up at a campsite.
Another challenge I wanted to complete was the Forgotten City quest. It's a spectacular mod which has won several awards.

@Charlottesmom To answer your question. My first blood test was a 10 hour fasting draw, but the second followup didn't require fasting. The second test had better results though.
