@Bolonkafrauchen you need 25 posts but you only have 20 at the moment. I'm pretty sure your Posts in the german forum doesn't count (if you have any), you need 25 on the english site to become a member. at least I think that's how it works
@Bolonkafrauchen If you web search the sims 4 gallery and click on the official link you should have the web gallery page here is your gallery link or click on someones gallery link it will give you the gallery web page
I have a question about more advanced raising/lowering objects in rooms.
I read the tutorials about raising objects through the basement to the first floor (when building a lot), and how you have to build a basement room for it to work.
If a debug object (which is part of a unique decoration) that is placed on the floor (for effect) is in a room, is it necessary to use that basement raising tutorial method to prevent the object in the room from falling?
Thank you very much @crysk ! The "new" object is on the floor on purpose --- but everything that I used to make it is from debug (it's made up of quite a few debug objects, but it didn't fall when I placed the room from my library on the same lot as the original room.
Oh --- @crysk --- do you mean if an object were in the hall or yard, etc. on a lot, then, I would have to use that tutorial?
I think that would help me @chips46 --- I think I'm still kinda confused about how to raise objects from the basement to the first floor --- Last year, I raised these 3 wreaths and 1 garland on the front of this red counter fell in my Jingle Kingle Cottage. Here's a screenshot of what fell when I raised it not through the basement.
Also, how is raising stuff on inside different from raising items outside?
@coolsim9999999 Your 3 wreaths and 1 garland they will dropped if not in a room space, you can either use your basement tool room or an easy way for this but you wont be able to have foundations on your build, have your Moo cheats on use your room tool go over the 3x6 tile area of your counter so its in the room space and go up a page remove the ceiling first if you dont you end up with part of the outside ring form the ceiling and delete all four side walls and you can use your floor tiles to cover the ground and then you can moo your 3 wreaths and 1 garland into place on your counter how you want it to be
@coolsim9999999 an update on your red counter in your Jingle Kingle Cottage build you wont need to do it in a room space nothing has drop I went and test it again I think its because of the new patch with the terrain tool that we all got but still always check and test your builds for drops just in case
edit I'm amazed I've been doing some more test with out any room space there are no drops on the ground which is good and not so good
Thanks so much @chips ! I was wondering about that because of the new patch . However, if I forget to add a foundation before I start to build now, the stairs sink into the ground and make a hole ! How do I fix the holes?
@coolsim9999999 I think to fix the holes press shift and use your mouse scroll wheel to select a smaller down to the tile size of terrain to manipulate select to raise terrain and then a few clicks to flatten the terrain see if this helps I'm still not sure about it myself how to use the terrain tool
