I loved the locations from World Adventures to be honest. The tombs became repetitive rather quickly but other than that it was one of my most liked expansion packs.
I'm definitely excited and can't wait to see more!
I liked the new skills that came along with the locations. Martial Arts was my favorite (especially when you could break space rocks to find gems; combining those with the Gem Polisher in Supernatural and I never had to Motherlode again. And getting all the new grapes for my home gardens was awesome. (I've always been a fan of gardening Sims if it works into my storyline.)

I am stoked as I love WA and one of the devs claimed they wouldn't do a WA pack for Sims 4 - so I was bummed over that. But looks like he was just trying to throw us off. As it sure looks like an adventure trip to me. Getting excited.
Maybe they meant they wouldn't do a WA EP, with three different locations in one pack -- but they're taking the adventuring aspect and giving it a closer focus, just like they took Vampires out of the traditional "Nightlife/Late Night" setting and gave them a new focus. And we've seen that in many cases GPs are stronger that EPs because of that focus, while EPs are more general with many different topics to cover.

If this GP is as well done as vampires, it will be great.
Well, at least the GP looks interesting. Maybe we'll get a little dungeon-crawling here, hmm? Now, in some other quarter of 2018...werewolves, or at the very least magic. Don't make me wait 2 more years for another lifestate. I'll come up there with one of two things: A plastic hanger or a good, strong leather belt.
I think the important thing to remember here is that it wasn't confirmed any of this has to do with a jungle, so yes, they could add some type of swimmable area. I'd be all for that if they did.

It is confirmed to me by the teaser showing Aztec temple décor. You don't find that at the beach but in a jungle. And if there is a swimmable area, it will probably be a hidden pond like in Windenburg on the island, the Bluffs.
Looks like Laundry is coming soon, but I guess everybody already knew that. It looks like they're adding some kind of Indiana Jones type game pack as well, which is pretty neat. If it's a spin on WA, I can't wait as WA was one of my favorite EPs.
Though it being a GP kinda worries me a little. An exploring-type DLC always struck me as an EP.
Looking at the GP, notice the Sim on the right. That animation looks new. If it's a GP, it could introduce a Fear emotion with explorer elements into it.
I hope Martial Arts or some kind of close combat that can help you traverse the new location(s) we'll be getting will make a return. That was always such a fun skill to level up.

Remember, WA had three different adventure locations. This GP will have one which should fit nicely into a GP.
@AHolyToilet is that animation new, though? In the thread I started we are discussing whether it's new or not. Do you know for sure?
I said "looks". Not "is". Afraid I do not know for sure, no. It'd be great if someone could verify it. If it's not new, I've certainly never seen it before.
I get a New Orleans's vibe from the third picture from the last. Could there be more than one vacation destination? The last look like South America/Aztec vibe.
Willow Creek is New Orleans so that trip would naturally be elsewhere - not something we already have. I'd agree on S.America maybe.
The picture hanging says Jazz vibe but I was looking at the hat and skull too. Which made me think of New Orleans but could be Seattle, Washington. Could be a casino destination if it's another vacation spot. Would work well with seasons. The last pic no doubt looks like a South American vacation.

How do you know for sure there will only be one? I don't think you're wrong and it would make sense, but nonetheless.

All the GPs so far have had no new locations or just one neighbourhood. It's an assumption that this would have just one, but it strikes me as a reasonable assumption. We've gotten full-size worlds only with EPs.

Honestly, GPs are way better than EPs because they add more focused gameplay. So if this is your thing a GP is probably the best thing that could happen to it because an EP would have it be a lot less focused. As far as animations it seems like something they'd add in a GP as they did for vampires.

Much as I would absolutely LOVE a new Fear emotion, I really don't think it's included. They've been showing fear on Sims in trailers since the Spooky Stuff pack release. We can see it advertised, but it's never there in game. It's like they're taunting me...always taunting... *sob*

Cave exploring would be a nice feature also.
Would you really consider going in a body of water in a jungle? Really? LOL.

Thank you for helping clear that up for me I know the way it sounded I thought wow they're advertising something for twelve months from now lol
