Hey I'm a full member now finally . I would like to post some pics. I tried to copy the link form a german upload site which does not work. Then I went on Imgur.com and finally got a link to enter. But the pic is very big, are there any rules about Image sizes on this Forum? How can I downsize my pic?
Hello @Busufu
Congratulations on becoming a full member!
Try resizing the image on imgur. After the image is uploaded to imgur, click on the picture. There is a little box menu. Click the arrow and there will be an option to resize the photo.

I'm not sure why this systeme is supposed to be good ?
@BlackCandy, this system was put in place due to some unsavory members who just wanted to post illegal and nasty pictures as their avatars or in posts. So EA had to come up with a system that would keep New members from posting such things until they become full members since the unsavory members were all new members. And yes, they would banned not too long after posting these images but they would come right back with a new account since there isn't any type of game registration that requires us to do. And I believe the reason for not going down that road with registration is due to the fact that we also have forum sections for Sims games that no longer has their own websites such as TS, TSM, My Sims, The Sims Castaway, etc that's listed in The Sims General Discussion with the exception of TS2 and TSM as they have their own forums listed under The Sims: Legacy Titles as well as The Sims General Discussion. And so far, they system has been working like it should as it roots out any would be trouble makers who just want to ruin our fun over here by posting nasty and illegal pictures and such.
As for New Members not being able to start new discussions, that was brought on by last years spambot attacks that would take over different forum sections with 20-30 posts made by different spambots advertising the same thing in every thread that they started. So EA decided to disable the new discussion button for all new members even if some had already made posts before the spambot attacks took place. EA figures that if the member is serious enough about becoming a full member, then the new members wouldn't mind having to do what is needed to do for them to become full members.
For any New members who what to get their post count up, the best thing that I would advise you to do is to find threads that may interest you and join in on them or go to the Off Topic section and join in on some of the word/story games over there. The posts made over in the forum section will go towards your post count whereas the posts made on your wall and the Activity Feed doesn't go towards the total post count. The only thing that you will get if you should make any post over on your wall or Activity Feed will be any Insightfuls, Likes or Awesomes as they will go towards your total points count. Hopefully creating your posts on other threads will also increase your points...
I'm not the type of person to comment a lot or really talk in the forum unless it's something I am really interested in so this will be a bit hard for me

I don't know why I'm still a new member. I've been here since Jan 2016!
Hello @josiebug101
The system was brought in to prevent spambots from starting new threads, and also as a result of upsetting photos that were posted on the forums. It was quite distressing. Simmers now need to have 50 points and 30 posts before they can become a full member and can then post pictures, have a signature, start new threads, edit posts , post links that show up correctly and change their profile picture. By having the posts/points system, simmers are required to spend time posting on the forums and at the same time will start to get used to how the forums work.
I don't understand the point of this, what if you're here because you need to ask a question to get help for your game? Now I have to post a bunch and gain points just to get help for one issue in my game?

Hello @LeKeish
Welcome to the forums
You nearly have enough points, but just need some more posts. The off topic section is a good place to post.

Reading and posting on threads in the Stories and Legacies section is great.

The simmers there would appreciate your feedback on their Stories and their legacies.
