Daily task glitch

The job daily task for some of my sims is not reseting after they come back from work, it just remains on complete with the yellow tick next to it and the work tone is also stuck on work hard instead of defaulting to normal. They still get promoted but the daily task will still be automatically completed. When I switch households it will be ok for one work day and then go back again to this. I'm not sure if it's linked to the headphones as none of my sims have them in another one of my saves and I don't have the problem. It started happening when I installed the fitness stuff pack and all the sims it happens to have headphones, except for one sim who was added to the household recently and I bought headphones for and he doesn't have this glitch.
I have no cc or mods and I have tried repairing the game and resetting the sims 4 folder. I have also tried removing the affected sims headphones but nothing seems to help. Changing jobs doesn't seem to stop the problem either nor moving the sims out through manage households.

You may need to have the affected sims quit their jobs then rejoin the job. You can use cheats to restore them back to the original career level

Try resetting the sims 4 folder again, but this time start a new save game file before placing the folders back into the new sims 4 folder . Test to see if the issue occurs in the new save game also

It's not the fitness stuff pack. I don't have it and I'm having the same issue. The only mod I use is MC command center. I'd have to check again because it didn't bother me enough for me to really pay attention, but I think it also goes back to normal if you just go to a community lot and come back.

If you still are having iissues and travelling doesn't help to remove the job tasks, try having the sim quit their job then rejoin the career and see if the issue remains.

Don't they have High Responsibility reward traits based on Character Values from Parenthood GP? My sims with the traits act like that, automatically working hard and completing daily tasks upon coming back home.

Do your sims continue to have the " working hard " tone and have work tasks remaining there, until they next go to work?

Hi, @rosemow.
"Working Hard" is always their default tone at the outset, and I can change them if I need, like the other sims.
I usually play only one household, so their daily tasks are basically always displayed as "Complete" on their Career panel, even if the sims never try to do the tasks.

I first noticed this when my teen sim grew up into YA and got some traits of Character Values including High Responsibility for the first time after I had installed Parenthood GP. I thought it was a new bug, but later I found the pattern. At least in my game, it only happens to sims who grew up in active household and have those new reward traits based on Character Values.

Currently, I'm testing out 2 sims. One with the responsibility trait and the other doesn't and see how it goes.
