Public Enemy Aspiration Bug

Hello my fellow Simmers!

I made a vampire sim and gave him the 'Public Enemy' aspiration. Everything seemed to be going well at first, I was having him do the little goals to get him to the next level in the aspiration. I was able to get him to level three, I had one more thing to complete before he got to the last level and that was to "Get into 5 fights".

I had him get into a 'vampiric duel' and he won but I didn't see the little pop up from the aspiration icon adding a fight to the goal. So I just figured he had to get into a regular fight with a normal sim. Well I had him get into that fight and yet again he won but the same issue happened, It wasn't counted towards the aspiration goal.

I have no idea why its doing that, I have repaired my game but the issue has remained. I really don't want to make him into a normal sim as that wasn't really the vision I had in mind for him. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It has been listed on the AHQ EA site that " get into 5 fights" doesn't count when it is with a vampire .

You may need to use a cheat to get to the next level of the aspiration
aspirations.complete_current_milestone

Same aspiration, same problem with a different requirement: Reach level 4 of the criminal career. My (non-vampire) sim has been at level 4 for several days now, but the game doesn't register it for some reason. It's annoying because I've already fufilled all the other requirements, including the five fights, to move on to the next level of the aspiration.

I should add that the promotion message popped up while I was at work with my scientist. Maybe the game didn't register it because I wasn't at home when it happened?

Another simmer posted that they had issues with it registering that they had reached level 4 in the criminal career , when they had aleady got to that level before doing that aspiration. There seems to be issues with that requirement.

My sim started out with that aspiration, so maybe it's a general problem.
Thank you for the cheat! I try not to use them most of the time, but in some cases it's unavoidable, unfortunately...

Sometimes you do need to use cheats due to game issues.

Quick note to say I'm experiencing same issue where level 4 criminal career not recognized as completed in Public Enemy aspiration. I was already level 6 when selecting this aspiration. I see there is a solution and am familiar with the cheat, but wanted to note my observation for the record. My character is a human clone.
