Missing Male Sims since the Patch Update!

I was sooo excited for toddlers, but low and behold, I open the game after the update and everything is messed up! I don't know if it's corrupted CC or something, but since the update, I no longer have to option to control ANY of the male sims in the game, only the females. Like the males are still in the household, but their picture does not show up on the bottom bar for me to control. I even went into an all-mall household, and there were literally 0 sims to select. All I could do was just stare at the sims in the house, because I couldn't interact with them. They were being really glitchy too, just popping up in locations around the lot occasionally and their animations were really jacked up and looped really choppily (that's not a word, but its the only way I could think to describe it).

I'm going to try to turn off mods to see if it fixes it, but if not, i don't know what to do right now

Update MC Command Center (even if you updated it earlier today - there's a new set of files with the same version number) and roll your save back.

If you use the module connected with MC Command Center, that can't be mentioned on the forums, it has been causing these issues. Remove the old version and download/install the updated version and see if that helps.
There has also been a new version of MC Command Center mod released today ( 3.0.4b ) . It would be good to remove the old version and download/install the new version.

I'm having the same issue. All of my male sims have become NPC. When I loaded into my save a second time, they were all wiped off the game. Literally. They don't even show in the family tree. I really hope it's a MC Command Center issue and nothing else. This frustrates me to the core. I'm on my 4th gen of sims.

Try downloading and installing the new updated version of MC Command Center as well as the updated version of the other module that is unable to be mentioned on the forums, and see if that helps your issues.

I gave that a go. I removed the old version and installed the new one but my male sims are still NPCs. I don't know what the issue is. I do know its tied to that toddler update. Everything was working smoothly yesterday! This is my first week using MC Command Center.

Try rolling your save game file back to an earlier version and see if that helps

Nothing appears to be working. It's the same even on previous saves. I don't know what to do on at this point.

Are you using the MC Command module that is on another site? ( not the modthesim site)

I am using the correct MC Command Center from Modthesims as that was how I learned about the mod. I did everything that was instructed to me but the problem still persists.

I am sorry that you are continuing to have this issue,

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" or "options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music "folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders that have the same name.
Don't put back the old mods folder.
Go into the game and test to see if the issues are still occurring.

I recently updated my game as well and now none of my male Sims are showing up at all. Only the females. I removed and updated a few mods, started the game again and the males still aren't showing up.

I'm tempted to remove all clothing mods as well, but they're not giving me any trouble. I also noticed while I was playing as one of my female sims, she couldn't go home whenever I clicked the home button. Instead, I had to bring up the map and click on her house to bring her back home.

Have you rolled back your save to a state before you turned the mods on after updating?

If they've been deleted and you saved, you'll need to roll the save back to an earlier state. See the link in my signature for how.

I am having the same issue as you. I've repaired the game, rolled back to previous saves, moved my mods and CC to the desktop... nothing has worked.

The most recent version of MCCC should be ok. Download the newest files.

Well I got my male sims back to normal but now their needs won't appear...Ok I am dreading this new update. No update has ever caused a major bug like this to me before. I'll try repairing the game this time.

If you use that module, it would be good to download/install the updated version.

With the game patch, it doesn't affect saves games, so you can play any save game with it. The patch updates will still show up in the game. You can put back your updated mods.
