Hello fellow Simmers. I am very excited to be playing Sims 4 for the first time this Christmas. I have never played any Sims games, but I've watched quite a few people playing Sims challenges on Youtube. For some reason, listening to people try to play challenges inspires me when I have a lot of house cleaning to do. At least I'm not a Sim who faints from exhaustion at the first sign of a mess! What I'm looking forward to most in participating in Forums is getting to create my own challenges. Can anyone recommend how to post a challenge in the forums?

Hi; my name's Anela. I mainly play sims 3, but my first sim game was the original! I like playing with families and I've recently gotten interested in designing and building houses. I usually play on PC, but my laptop is a Mac and that's all I have right now.
I'm in college studying Graphic Communication (printing, publishing, building websites, etc.) and I like to do art in my free time.
Nice to meet you all!
Hi Anela!
It's wonderful to meet someone else who likes design and building houses and artwork! I admit that was one of the strongest components that attracted me into wanting to play the Sims. I couldn't wait to design houses! What are some of the most original designs you've made?
Hello! I am Victoria. I think this forum is a very good idea because we need help very often with this game we love. And as I struggle a lot when an issue comes up I know how it feels not to be able to achieve something. So I would be glad if I could also help others with their issues.
I am playing sims since sims 2, so for years now.. I also couldn't stop myself from modding So I hope I can help and ameliorate our game plays together!
Hey Victoria,
I'm really curious about mods but have never used them. There is one I want to install called "Increase Your Household Size" which would be perfect for a Zodiac Challenge I would like to play. Have you ever heard/used this mod? http://modthesims.info/d/536556#.VCb-x1oB5g8.twitter

After each game patch, go to game options and tick the " enable custom content and mods" button which is found in :
Options | Other | Enable Custom Content and Mods. Exit the game. Then go back into the game again and see if the cc appears then.
hi! I'm pretty new here, but I've been playing the sims for a while. The community on this site is so nice! It's so cool to be able to discuss sims related things with all the cool people on here. There's not much to know about me; I love music like Paramore and Finish Ticket and Run River North and I swim competitively. This is such a nice thread, thanks so much for starting it

Happy simming!
Hi,
I've been playing the sims for a long time and I still enjoy it.
I especially love to play challenges.
Hello @vnscecile It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
Challenges are a great part of simming! There are a number of diiferent challenges that simmers are doing in their games , and it is enjoyable following the guidelines and sharing experiences with others how the challenges are going.
It is nice that you have been simming for a long time. You would have enjoyed creating and playing many sims households over the time.
Happy simming!
Hello there!!
I'm fairly new here, but not new to the Sims at all!! I have played the Sims for a few years now, I own TS3 and TS4, I've never played the Sims 2 but that's okay because the others are so great!. Whenever I play I focus on CAS and The Family Tree / Genetics more than anything, and I think its really cool to see other peoples Trees and Genetics, as well as the amazing sims they create. I was shocked by how welcoming and friendly the community is here. That's all I can think of for now.

Hello @higgenbocker It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that you own Sims 3 and Sims 4. Simming is lots of fun! Family trees and genetics are a very interesting part of simming! It is great seeing the differences and similarities between generations and siblings. Creating sims in CAS is enjoyable also! It is nice that we can use the CAS tools to make simversions of ourselves, our family and friends, as well as well known celebrities. It is then special to play them or see them in our games.
Happy simming!

Hi! Welcome to the forums! Ah, same with me! I've own TS4 and TS3 and haven't played the Sims 2. I also focus on CAS and LOVE the family trees/genealogy aspect of the game. I think it's awesome to see how your families in TS4 are connected and I get really excited when I view my Sims genealogy! I love seeing other people's in-game family trees and wish there was a website just for looking at them, haha! Well, I hope you enjoy your stay at the forums!
Hello all.
I am Natty1. I have been playing The Sims 3 for quite some time now, perhaps at least two years. The expansions/stuff packs I have for TS3 are Pets, Island Paradise, High-End Loft Stuff, and Late Night.
Just recently I purchased TS4, but have yet to get any expansion/stuff packs.
TS3 is great, especially with how CAS works, and playing with Sim pets is a great way to have fun.
TS4... whoa... it is absolutely amazing. I love the graphics, and I love how much fun it is to edit in CAS (although sadly there is no longer the option to customize the colours/patterns of your Sims' clothing ). I look forward to the addition of pets and toddlers (hopefully).
I am new to this forum thing, and although I have been a member of the TS3 forums, I've never really used it except to upload a couple of Sims to the Exchange, lol.

Hello!
I've been playing sims since they came out, have been a member of the community for that long but for some reason I've been "reset" so to speak. Happy to be here. Trying to find out how I can post a question in the forums as it doesn't seem very obvious any more (or maybe I've gone blind?) I'm having some trouble with "painting a mural" and wanted to ask for help but I can't start a discussion. Thanks for your help!

There is a feature that when there is a game update, mods/cc are disabled. This link explains about it,
