September Update bugs?

I don't know if it was the September update, but these things only seem to have been happening since then:
- last action won't go from sim's action queue without having to debug the sim every time
- skill bar won't disappear from above sim's head - even debugging or going into CAS doesn't get rid of it. Have to restart game.
- one of my public lots has everyone turn up, then freezes actions so you have to go into build mode or the travel menu to unfreeze everyone otherwise they just stand there and do nothing for 12 hours then pee themselves
- the Day of the Dead sims seem to all spawn in the same place, or just not show up at all, is that normal..?
Is anyone else having any of these problems? I have no mods or anything installed - just 100% pure Sims goodness so I don't know what's up...

I am sorry that you are having these issues.
With the first two issues,sometimes travelling to another lot and back home again can help. Resetting the sim like you have done sometimes helps also. Coming completely out of the game and going back in again usually helps to fix the issue.
It would be good to try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder
With your third issue, if it is a particular venue that this is occurring at, try going into bulld mode on the lot. Save the build to your library. Bulldoze the lot. Then place the saved version of the build from your library onto the lor. Then test to see if the issues remain.
With the challenge celebrators, this is what has been occurring in other simmers games also.
