Picking one is hard - I'm torn between "apartment-living," "lot traits," and "the whole city!" This looks like a really rich EP overall, with a great sense of what it's like living in a city and with a lot more ways (and more fun ways) that our poorer Sims will be able to do things.

My top three:
1. Apartment living - Finally! Noisy neighbors, bad plumbing and everything else that comes with it.
2. New careers - I've been wanting new ones for such a long time, and the ones we get look like a lot of fun!
3. New recipies for my restaurants - All the different food in this game is a detail I'm really enjoying.
Honorable mentions: Flea markets, the ability to hand out keys to your home, and the new art centre venue type.
I'm happy they're adding things like this. I've been missing these and basketball a lot lately, and I'm happy to have more activities that suit my teens.
I think that what I'm looking forward to the most changes with each new blog and trailer. Lot traits are still high on the list, though, as well as the new careers.
I wont be buying this EP. It's way too light on content, and the small amount it does have does not appeal to me. It's ALL set dressing. Our sims are going to be doing the same animations they've had since base game, only in a different setting. Eating and talking.
Why did you feel that it was necessary to come on to this thread and post the same post that you have posted on numerous other threads. You can read, right? The thread title is City Living: What are you excited for the most? Your post didn't mention anything you are excited about. I know what you're thinking: "That's because I'm not excited about anything in this plum EP, duh!" And I know that. We all know that. We've read your numerous other posts stating that you do not like this EP. So why post here again? Why try and ruin another thread with your negative post that you have posted in other threads numerous times. Wouldn't you be better off starting your own thread about how unhappy you are with this EP? Then others who are unhappy can post there too. A whole thread devoted to players who are unhappy would make a better impact than you posting over and over again and making others who like the EP angry. That, IMO, would only make you look like a nutter who enjoys complaining more than playing this game. And please, don't trot out that tired, old horse "I've got the right to post my opinions" because no one is saying not to post your opinions (I'm just asking why post in threads that are for happy simmers), but you also have the responsibility not to be a plumhole and post just to make people angry. New activities like console or basket because it will bring more diversity in my Sims' hobbies
I'm also happy about
- new Build/Buy items because even if I don't build often, I'm having a blast each time I do
- new careers because I don't like when all my Sims are co-workers (more diversity !)
- festivals who seem surprisingly interesting and will be a nice change of pace
- new traits, especially because these two interest me more than the ones from GT

I'm excited for the whole EP. because I think we are going to get a whole mix of new things; especially:
- a whole new world;
- apartments;
- new things to do in the open areas;
- a whole new line of bohemian/ethnic/arty objects, clothes and décor;
- new features like the produce stalls and lot traits, that I can eventually use to revitalize my existing worlds.
I'm just waiting to test the new building traits and elevator functionality, and I intend to use the festival functions and situations outside of San Myshuno since I don't really care for the off-lot events after the Get Together experience.
Hopefully there will be a hidden surprise which they haven't told us about yet.
