So I know it's against the rules to ask for people to like/awesome your posts and all that. So just to be clear, THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM ASKING FOR

Now that we have that out of the way... What I am asking for is a quick way to become a member? I have been on this forum, lurking mainly, since back in June. I have been playing the Sims for well over 3 years (it only says 3 years on my badges. I never went on the forums before TS3) and just mainly lurking on the forums.
I just want to be able to make a new 100 Baby Challenge Directory, or post my own story (when I start it) to an already created directory. And add a signature and picture to my profile, as well.

Playing forum games in the Off Topic Section is a great way, and getting involved in popular discussion or creating your own in the General Discussion Forum are fairly quick ways. How long have you been in this community with your current profile name? If you have been under your current profile name for only three years. Then three is all you are going to have on that badge. You should be getting a fourth one soon when you reach the date that you joined under your current profile name.

For me, I was a member in less than a day under in The Sims 4 Forums. Mainly because I have had my current profile name for four years prior to coming over to Sims 4. And I have racked up a massive amounts of points during those four years in Sims 3.

I trued to create a post in general and it wouldn't let me as I'm "too new" being a tech and problem solver, I have been trying to figure things out in sims 4 and help out other having trouble. Had a new topic, but can't post as I'm new, and I don't tend to post a lot unless there is something that needs to be said. Not sure what I need for the training wheels to be off, but I'm trying, where are those vice grips?

Hello @Tirreal.
You should still be able to post posts and start new threads even though you are still a new member. Try posting again and see if you are able to post now.

You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a member and can then post pictures, have a signature, post links and change your profile picture.This thread explains about it.

Your saved drafts will be there in the comments section when you open the thread where you saved the drafts.

Just a little information for other new members who are trying to start new threads.
There is usually a blue new discussion button at the top right hand side of the screen in the forum sections. New discussion threads though may have been restricted for new members. You may not be able to start a new thread until you become a full member. This occurs sometimes , especially at weekends

You can post about your issue on another similar thread that another simmer has already started, and there will be simmers that will help you with your issue.

I recently got a notification saying I was a member (yay!) and all I did was post a bunch and get badges by posting and such.

Account 24 hours old, or more
and
50 points or more
and
30 posts or more

One receives points by posting content that gets "liked" by other members. Not as hard as it sounds.

To rack up the posts (Legally)!! visit the Game threads.. as in several threads found in this section

I have these settings for my laptop, if you have a different size screen just pick the one of your size and remember to use the windowed option. I can minimise my game anytime by just clicking on my sims 4 icon. I hope this helps you. I found the Alt Tab thing a bit tiring if I just quickly wanted to check on facebook or something if I heard a message sound.
