Ah! what?! I'm totally lost @lisi_ja and I REALLY want to figure out how you made your Sims jump up to the beds!!! I know all the cheats. did it just have to do with making the raised beds exactly equal to partial wall heights? I will have to experiment in game, but this TOTALLY changes everything about bedrooms I'm super excited. I LOVE trying to be creative with bedroom layouts though I can't match the ones you have!
Was it maybe a patch that they released to allow people to create bunks finally? If I can figure out how you did that it will actually make all those loft apartment type rooms people make actually playable!

Please do experiment in game! It works with all different types of wall heights... You just have to be careful when placing items under the bed... Sometimes it works fine, sometimes not...The place in the middle next to the bed (on the floor) should always be free of other items, so the sims can go to bed...
I have been doing this a while now, so I don't think it just works because of an update. If you try it, I would love to see pictures of your rooms
Oh that would definitely explain it. keeping the middle free. most of the times I have ever made bunks, I make them more literal with one bed directly under the other. which won't work it sounds like. thanks for the tips!
Does anybody have any idea if there is a way to make items you raise from the basement (to have them raised on first floor exterior) still visible when you change view to the second, third, floors etc?
@lisi_ja I gave your tutorial on bunk bed to see if I can do this not that hard to do I put the wall on medium height and a few items under the bed to see if it works and it does one thing I notice on the wall it leaves a shadow is that normal.
The bunk bed area looks so very pretty! @chips46 The pink colour scheme and floral wall pattern looks very nice. The teddies look very cute on the upper bunk bed level! The clothes and shoes corner nook looks homely. It is good that the night light is on the bedhead wall to stop monsters appear when turned on at night.
I would like to share with you a tutorial of mine where you can learn how to build usable bunkbeds without customer content My comments in the video are in German, but I wrote down all needed cheats before starting building and I think you don't need my comments to understand it, if you're not a novice to mooing. If you have any questions, I would love to answer them all
I love this tutorial haha I was wondering how this would work, how do the sims use these beds and then they just hopped right up into it and I spit out my drink haha I wasn't expecting it at all! I'm going to use these bunk beds all the time!

Lot name that you built on: Riverside Retreat
Would you like feedback: I really like feedback but I'll be decorating with CC so this is more of a share I guess...?

It's pretty hard to get a good screen shot without the tab option... that doesn't work unless you're playing a sim right??
It's going to be a lake house with the stilts in the lake!
The exterior of your lake house build looks great! @fabtiffsim Very nice design of the home! It will look great with the stilts in the lake. The patios look great!

Would you like feedback: Sure but I've already used CC haha so if that's against the rules thats fine, I don't need the feedback just sharing!
I've never done the octagonal roof stuff before, I looked up a tutorial and wanted to experiment with that. Also I've never done the free pool tool thingy and I liked the way it looked in some of the other builds I saw on this thread so I was inspired to try something like that too!
Pictures:
The texture of the exterior of the home looks very nice! @fabtiffsim The octogonal roofing looks great! Very nice shape of the lake! The windows look great how they are placed in the build.
Last one for the night. I'm in Canada and I'm ashamed to say it's 4am here and I'm simming so hard haha
Challenge 4/part 3
This is where I should probably just leave you guys cause I'm pretty CC heavy already and it's only going to get worse. I mean no disrespect by posting in your no CC challenge! I just love me some building!
The outdoors areas of your build look very nice! @fabtiffsim The flower box windows are pretty touches on the tower area of the build. The plants ,trees and rocks look very nice through the outdoors areas! Nice games area for sims to have fun playing horseshoes in the outdoors air. The campfire nook looks great! Sims will enjoy sitting on the log and stump themed seating there , toasting food and chatting. It is great that the cooler is there for sims to have food or a drink from. The bird house is a nice touch there. The lilypads look pretty in the lake. Very nice balcony patio! The spandrels look great how they are used there.
The build is very nice!
@fabtiffsim wow it looks amazing I love how it looks like a mountain retreat or forest retreat
As for the feedback I normally do feedback from looking in game as pics dont really show up close or allow things to be tested so in future id say if you want feedback make sure to not use cc and to include gallery links so I can check out in game. But I am more than happy to see your cc version and for you to share them like you did looks amazing
@lisi_ja I'm having a bit of trouble when I place things under the bunk. My Sim won't go into bed up top
As I saw in @chips46's pic as well as yours you both have tons of stuff underneath the bunk as well as another bed in the same direction
Comments
It would be great if you would also like to post the video on the Building Tips and Tutorials thread also. Simmers will find it helpful.

As @steskens said, when you enlarge objects, their shadow isn't enlarged with them... You could put a window or painting there to hide it
