Nice updates everyone. I've just managed a little update as I've not had time to do much with Sims lately.
I'm still with Paula and Joanna but will need to leave them soon.
I won't be able to spend any time with my sims today though as I just got home and will have to go out again soon and I have some lines to learn for a tiny play I'm in. The final rehearsal is this afternoon and the performance is tomorrow night. I haven't had time to look at them since last week because of the concert I was singing in on Sunday.
My poor little sims are feeling a little abandoned.
Here's an update on Paula and Joanna.
I've resorted to getting them to do things they wish for. I usually ignore Sim's wishes - most of the time.
Paula is working on her sculpting in metal because that's what she wanted to do.
Joanna completed her blocks skill and moved on to cooking because I wanted to get her blocks and cooking skills done.
This turned out to be a very expensive metal chair - but I didn't let her sell it.
I like the view through the digital fishiness window. I was trying to get a picture with the starfish in it. Got it.
I saw a surprise message about Nate and Penelope
I'll have to go to their place soon as they have no facilities for babies.
But I wanted Paula and Joanna to get some skills and Life Time Rewards. They are both about equally unskilled and neither have enough points to buy their first LTR yet.
Anyway - Paula wanted to make an ice sculpture - so she made a sink and I sold it. It wasn't worth much.
When Joanna completed her cooking skill she autonomously went upstairs. I went up to see what she was doing to see her on her way back down again - after smashing Paula's carved pumpkin.
Then she watched TV for a while. I have no idea what she was watching. It wasn't the Kids channel.
She wanted to learn the logic skill, so instead of sending her to a logic class I bought a corsair table - because we are in Barnacle Bay. And she practiced chess. She got her LTR points for learning logic but she still has the wish to attend logic class.
Joanna got the wish to buy a chemistry table - so I got her one and another one for Paula. Joanna's is kid sized cc.
They look so innocent as they work together to learn how to make potions. I'm wondering what will happen once they each have an arsenal of potions.
That's it for now. I didn't make much progress.
I'll probably go back to Penelope and give her some baby furniture then get my other game loaded so Heather and Duncan are married. Leave them to it and get Harry Flower to take a few Sims to Barnacle Bay.
Then I'll see if I can incorporate this save into my game. I still have no idea if it'll work.
@lanlyn You would think folks visiting on vacations would be nice. 90% of them are very nice. Quite lovely and so wonderful to talk to. Especially when they are really excited about visiting us. But there is that 10% that are demanding, rude and think me and my co-workers are there to serve and amuse them. Those are the ones that can bring down your whole day.
My advice to anyone traveling anywhere: We live in the age of the internet. If you know you want to visit a place, whether it is local or abroad, check it out online. Get as much info regarding times, tickets, etc. as you can, so that you are a "Prepared Traveller" (see what I did there. lol) Many museums have set times and tours at certain times. I've heard every sob story in the book and I have to follow rules. I can't tell you how many times customers have gotten angry with me and in my face acting like it's all my fault their vacation has been ruined. That's why when I travel, especially with my friends and family, I'm the "planner". Everyone tells me what they want to do/see and I research and coordinate. We have a much better time. I'm sure that's because it's what I do for a living right now.
As for my game, I started the Ultimate Challenge again. I'm not using Piper. I randomly created a SIM named Isabel. I'll try to remember to take pics soon to share.

@lanlyn I think it makes a big difference when they don't have anyone else to go after. In one of my saves I have 8 adult sims and the flirty one (Jonah) is either after Gabriela, or Evelyn. Evelyn is into Jonah and Artyom (though they fight too), Clayton and Meraxes and Gabriela have a thing... omg its endless. So much easier to just separate them and have them concentrate their efforts on each other. I am glad though that Roy and Holly have made the move. I'm excited for them, even if Roy is petrified.
While everyone sleeps Galilea works on her bot building skills. I decide to have her sell her bot, and while it drives her to the Emporium I forget the bot is driving their very $$ car and he ends up stealing it. Did NOT make my $ back on that transaction.

I fell in love with a female ghost on the Sunset Valley Cementery. Her name is Jennie Clavell. I took her tomb to my house and she visited me every three days at night. Then I decided to bring her back to life by using the ambrosia elixir.

Tanner and Tracy Ivanovitch were both up so early that it was still dark out as they got up and started getting ready for the day.
They both ate breakfast and played online social games on their iPads before it got light out.
They spent the day studying skills and swimming in the market pool until it was time to get ready for work.
They stopped at home to get their new house set up and got ready for work while they were there.
It was 10PM when they got home and got into their sleeping bags.
Going to bed soon, so I will leave comments and hopefully some updates tomorrow! I am excited about a shop that I am building, so I wanted to post some pictures. I am still working on it. The building has 3 floors, so the first floor is a clothing shop, I think I will make the 2nd floor a gallery/gift shop and the 3rd floor a museum of oddities. I turned the building into a consignment shop. Not sure how much money it will make, but my family has 1.5 million dollars and own a few properties around town, so this may just kind of be a hobby for Alice. Here are a few pics of what I have, so far.
I don't really like the in game clothing rack, so I might be looking for CC to replace it. I created a Sim to look like a mannequin, so I might pose them in my store, that way I can display whatever outfits I want.

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well My Lucky Palms game was crashing, so I haven't been playing w/ Diamond and Tyson, but I will soon.
Brooklyn update:These pics are from about a month ago.
Brooklyn: It was a Saturday. I headed over to the new arcade to meet up with Coi and Amerie. Coi's brother, Adonis was also there. He was telling me that learning to drive with his mom, Briah was easier than his dad trying to teach him.
*I know they're my cousins and all, but if you can't tell already, the Stones are pretty hood. Briah grew up in a hard neighborhood in Miami and Apollo grew up on the South Side of Chicago (enough said). We all love them of course, but they represent the more hood side of the De-Sais and Powers. And their kids reflect that.
I played a basketball tournament game against Coi. It's funny, her dad, Apollo and my dad always played basketball with each other and were highly competitive when they did. I guess you can say, I inherited my father's competitive side. I don't think Mom ever felt competitive, I guess she always knew she was the best and the baddest chick in the building.
I wish this dumb game actually paid out real money.
The arcade was fast becoming the cool kids hangout since it opened about a month ago. Therefore, I have no idea why Pepper was there bothering me. He's had a major crush on me since kindergarten. But yuck I've told him a million times before that I would never go out with him. He's ultra creepy and he has a weird smell.
After I fell off the mechanical bull, I got a headache and decided to head home.
My mom and I are pretty close. She's said to me before; "Brook, I'm not your friend, nor am I your sister and brother's friend. I am your mother first and foremost. I'm here to love you, discipline you, and raise y'all up to be good and responsible people. You kids are the most important people in my life and I wouldn't be doing my job as a mother if I treated you like a friend all the time." I asked her, "Well, do you consider Nani Apollonia your friend, now that you're both older?" You see, Nani wasn't the greatest mother to my mom and Auntie Kennedey while they were growing up. She even left them when they were 15 and 14. Nani had many issues and it took her ten years to come back into their lives. Thankfully for her, Mama and Auntie Kennedey were ready to accept her back and they're all very close, but it took a while for her to gain their trust again. Nani leaving eventually lead to Granddaddy Ray divorcing her after her ten year disappearance.
Mama has West Indian roots (Trinidad and Tobago). She's from Miami, but my Nani was born and raised in TNT before coming to the USA. They believe in strong family values and adhere to that old African proverb: It takes a village to raise a child. Ugh, that may sound good on paper, but it means is that all the older people in your family can discipline you and not just leave it up to your parents. So yes, I am still salty about Nani busting me a the club a while back. And Uncle Amarre is definitely at the bottom of my D list. If you ask me, they need to leave all that up to my parents (particularly my dad cause my mom doesn't let me get away with anything).
What can I say? I'm also very close to my dad. He's a lot easier to deal with if I get in trouble. He's always had a soft spot for Marseille and I. It's kind of the same with my brother, Neko and my mom; she has a soft spot for him. She lets him get away with a lot.
I took out my box braids and I'm wearing my own, natural hair and color again. My mom, Reagan has been the only redhead in the family over the last few generations. She inherited her red hair from her grandmother.
I practice the violin three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Yes, my parents obviously made me take lessons. They felt it would make me more refined. They also made us take piano. Daddy actually is from a well to do family. His parents had money growing up and his mom's father was a rich successful Japanese businessman who married a graceful southern debutante belle.
After my Friday violin lesson was over, I headed over to Coi's to pick her up for the spring festival. Coi could've drove herself, but no less than two weeks after getting her license and car, she got two speeding tickets. Briah quickly snatched back the keys from Coi, and she's not allowed to dive for a month.
Oh yeah, Briah also made Coi bring her little sister, Cree along. I didn't feel like being around any brats tonight and I was half tempted to tell Coi I would have to leave them behind. But whatever, when I complained about it later to my mom, she had no sympathy for me and reminded me that Marsy had to bring me along with her at times.
We went rollerskating and had our picture taken in one of those booths. Ugh, I don't know why Coi decided to step in front a little at the last minute. She totally ruined my light. Coi claims she doesn't care about attention, but she loves to suck up as much shine as she possibly can. It's not my fault it's Tupac when I enter a room "All Eyes On Me". When I was snubbing her and added her to my D list a few weeks ago, it was Coi who sent me an apology text first. She knew she was in the wrong and there was no way I was going to apologize for calling her out on her ratchet behavior. When you're with Brooklyn Powers, you better always come correct and represent because everything you do, reflects on me. And this is why my friends call me Queen B.
After we left the festival and dropped Cree back at home, Coi came over to spend the night.
It was pretty late and my dad woke up to grab something to eat. I guess we all were hungry.
Don't even ask me why, my mom is in my room dancing in her pajamas.

I'm really enjoying putting it together, though it takes a bit of work in moving back and forth between saves back to Appaloosa Plains to get some of the details as not everyone was moved. I haven't really done much interacting with Ruby, but Jonah is a genius so if she's a bimbo, he might not be able to handle it! Roy getting domestic and posting inappropriate stuff to forums! Looking forward to seeing the wedding update. I've seen so many custom worlds on here I honestly think I'm going to have to download some (as above).
@emorrill Glad things are working for you. I too have been on more different meds than I can remember, but I suppose it all comes down in the end to finding one that works for you. Thankfully I no longer take Beta Blockers in addition to the Anti-Depressants, I was like a walking zombie!! I agree though, it's really difficult for people with no experience of depression and anxiety to understand it. I recently had a breakdown and I was at work when it started. Of course when I had my review this was brought into it and while I still got a good review, it was clear to me that one of my fee earners just didn't understand these kinds of disorders. Thankfully however, they're all being very supportive, which I think is a huge step up from a few decades ago when it seemed to be a case of just don't tell anyone!

They work pretty good! You just have to place plants on the ends. You need 4 of these blocks to fill up a 1 x 1 space. They are kinda pricey, at 30$ each but they work good. You can also make them into different shapes or there is just one box, also you can put them in lines too

They celebrated with a bit of foosball. Two sims that had been watching decided to join in and apparently ruined the mood as Michelle and Kiki stopped playing soon after lol

Close, alphabetically anyway. It's the beta testing release of Overwatch that fixes those evil combo lot failures. It's getting pretty close to final release, but I've been using it for quite a while and it seems to be fine.

@lisasc360 -I use ExtractFrogRar and 7Zip for those files.I had to adjust mine right away and have updated settings as new patches changed things or I got new EPs installed and had to set things up for those.

Tanner and Tracy Ivanovitch were both up so early that it was still dark out as they got up and started getting ready for the day.
They both ate breakfast and played online social games on their iPads before it got light out.
They spent the day studying skills and swimming in the market pool until it was time to get ready for work.
They stopped at home to get their new house set up and got ready for work while they were there.
It was 10PM when they got home and got into their sleeping bags.

Brooklyn update:These pics are from about a month ago.
Brooklyn: It was a Saturday. I headed over to the new arcade to meet up with Coi and Amerie. Coi's brother, Adonis was also there. He was telling me that learning to drive with his mom, Briah was easier than his dad trying to teach him.
*I know they're my cousins and all, but if you can't tell already, the Stones are pretty hood. Briah grew up in a hard neighborhood in Miami and Apollo grew up on the South Side of Chicago (enough said). We all love them of course, but they represent the more hood side of the De-Sais and Powers. And their kids reflect that.
I played a basketball tournament game against Coi. It's funny, her dad, Apollo and my dad always played basketball with each other and were highly competitive when they did. I guess you can say, I inherited my father's competitive side. I don't think Mom ever felt competitive, I guess she always knew she was the best and the baddest chick in the building.
I wish this dumb game actually paid out real money.
The arcade was fast becoming the cool kids hangout since it opened about a month ago. Therefore, I have no idea why Pepper was there bothering me. He's had a major crush on me since kindergarten. But yuck I've told him a million times before that I would never go out with him. He's ultra creepy and he has a weird smell.
After I fell off the mechanical bull, I got a headache and decided to head home.
My mom and I are pretty close. She's said to me before; "Brook, I'm not your friend, nor am I your sister and brother's friend. I am your mother first and foremost. I'm here to love you, discipline you, and raise y'all up to be good and responsible people. You kids are the most important people in my life and I wouldn't be doing my job as a mother if I treated you like a friend all the time." I asked her, "Well, do you consider Nani Apollonia your friend, now that you're both older?" You see, Nani wasn't the greatest mother to my mom and Auntie Kennedey while they were growing up. She even left them when they were 15 and 14. Nani had many issues and it took her ten years to come back into their lives. Thankfully for her, Mama and Auntie Kennedey were ready to accept her back and they're all very close, but it took a while for her to gain their trust again. Nani leaving eventually lead to Granddaddy Ray divorcing her after her ten year disappearance.
Mama has West Indian roots (Trinidad and Tobago). She's from Miami, but my Nani was born and raised in TNT before coming to the USA. They believe in strong family values and adhere to that old African proverb: It takes a village to raise a child. Ugh, that may sound good on paper, but it means is that all the older people in your family can discipline you and not just leave it up to your parents. So yes, I am still salty about Nani busting me a the club a while back. And Uncle Amarre is definitely at the bottom of my D list. If you ask me, they need to leave all that up to my parents (particularly my dad cause my mom doesn't let me get away with anything).
What can I say? I'm also very close to my dad. He's a lot easier to deal with if I get in trouble. He's always had a soft spot for Marseille and I. It's kind of the same with my brother, Neko and my mom; she has a soft spot for him. She lets him get away with a lot.
I took out my box braids and I'm wearing my own, natural hair and color again. My mom, Reagan has been the only redhead in the family over the last few generations. She inherited her red hair from her grandmother.
I practice the violin three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Yes, my parents obviously made me take lessons. They felt it would make me more refined. They also made us take piano. Daddy actually is from a well to do family. His parents had money growing up and his mom's father was a rich successful Japanese businessman who married a graceful southern debutante belle.
After my Friday violin lesson was over, I headed over to Coi's to pick her up for the spring festival. Coi could've drove herself, but no less than two weeks after getting her license and car, she got two speeding tickets. Briah quickly snatched back the keys from Coi, and she's not allowed to dive for a month.
Oh yeah, Briah also made Coi bring her little sister, Cree along. I didn't feel like being around any brats tonight and I was half tempted to tell Coi I would have to leave them behind. But whatever, when I complained about it later to my mom, she had no sympathy for me and reminded me that Marsy had to bring me along with her at times.
We went rollerskating and had our picture taken in one of those booths. Ugh, I don't know why Coi decided to step in front a little at the last minute. She totally ruined my light. Coi claims she doesn't care about attention, but she loves to suck up as much shine as she possibly can. It's not my fault it's Tupac when I enter a room "All Eyes On Me". When I was snubbing her and added her to my D list a few weeks ago, it was Coi who sent me an apology text first. She knew she was in the wrong and there was no way I was going to apologize for calling her out on her ratchet behavior. When you're with Brooklyn Powers, you better always come correct and represent because everything you do, reflects on me. And this is why my friends call me Queen B.
After we left the festival and dropped Cree back at home, Coi came over to spend the night.
It was pretty late and my dad woke up to grab something to eat. I guess we all were hungry.
Don't even ask me why, my mom is in my room dancing in her pajamas.

@lanlyn Thanks! I'm really enjoying putting it together, though it takes a bit of work in moving back and forth between saves back to Appaloosa Plains to get some of the details as not everyone was moved. I haven't really done much interacting with Ruby, but Jonah is a genius so if she's a bimbo, he might not be able to handle it! Roy getting domestic and posting inappropriate stuff to forums! Looking forward to seeing the wedding update. I've seen so many custom worlds on here I honestly think I'm going to have to download some (as above).
@emorrill Glad things are working for you. I too have been on more different meds than I can remember, but I suppose it all comes down in the end to finding one that works for you. Thankfully I no longer take Beta Blockers in addition to the Anti-Depressants, I was like a walking zombie!! I agree though, it's really difficult for people with no experience of depression and anxiety to understand it. I recently had a breakdown and I was at work when it started. Of course when I had my review this was brought into it and while I still got a good review, it was clear to me that one of my fee earners just didn't understand these kinds of disorders. Thankfully however, they're all being very supportive, which I think is a huge step up from a few decades ago when it seemed to be a case of just don't tell anyone!

They work pretty good! You just have to place plants on the ends. You need 4 of these blocks to fill up a 1 x 1 space. They are kinda pricey, at 30$ each but they work good. You can also make them into different shapes or there is just one box, also you can put them in lines too
