Reptiles as pets! You need to have special heated cages for them but you can play with them and some of them grow HUGE. So you'd need to sell smaller cages and get larger cages because you were making your pets sad.
Oh, and for you to bring up a pet to be defensive of your home from burglars, but may also attack passers by if not trained right (or if you like, that's what you might train it to do, you monster!). But if it does it too much it's taken away (aka put down) and you are fined. And of course people don't like you when your pet savages their child's face.
And if you treat your animals badly you get them taken away and you get a fine if people find out and people don't like you much for it.
Just dogs as pets would be so limited.
Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.
Yeah I agree with everything you are saying! I have ad some time to think as well and come up with some ideas! First off, wild animals, like snakes, raccoons, skunks, foxes, and birds of prey! I think also of the addition of extinct and mythical animals: unicorns, chupacabras, phoenixes, dodo birds, dragons (small I suppose), Cerberuses (small as well), kitsunis, various new fish to catch that are extinct, krakens, and jackalopes. These would be the hardest to spot, tame, and train, but also the coolest. You are able to create your own in CAS mode once you obtain your own first; these creatures have their own collection. Some are only available in each world, including worlds in different packs. All animals have their own qualifications if you choose to house them, i.e.: Kraken needs a large pool, jackalope stays inside or an enclosed pen(wild animals would get them otherwise), fish are in tanks, pools, fountains, phoenixes in trees o a cage/perch, and dragons need their own area. Each animal have their own special traits (like with ghosts when they die from whatever) which are non-changeable traits, but also there's room for original traits as well. With the wild and mythical animals, you are able to gain access to their parts when you create your own animal in general. You can gain access to a array of new tails, colors, patterns, cries, maybe even traits, etc. Like being able to mold and create the perfect Sims, you can do the exact same to your pet. I would like to have a dial for the growth of hair for animals, you can make a super short or super long haired pet. It would be cool to have wild squirrels and rabbits come by and you can befriend them and/or tame them. If squirrels are added, it would be amazing to make them sound so annoying and just become a pain. With the birds, you should be able to get them to learn phrases, get eaten by wild animals and/or by cats. You should be able to color every single part of the bird, from the eye ring down to the crest. The species included into the game should be the Parrot, Canary, Budgies, Cockatoos, Chickens, Macaws, Falcon, Hawk, Cardinal, Owl, Dove, Raven, Crow, Duck, Eagle, Flamingo, Emu, Ostrich, and the Penguin. There is a new Sims trait, Bird Watcher, loves the outdoors and gains extra happy moodlets when watching birds, and gets happy when being around birds. The new Sims Skill, is the Falconry skill. You can get your bird of prey to catch wild game, get collectibles, train them, do tricks, and become able to tame even the rarest of the rare birds and retrieve items. It would be cool to have more NPB (non-playable birds) included to simply add realism It would be great if birds could nest in your line of property and even in other areas, parks, national parks, restaurants, etc. The birds come with 5 add-in's fro their cages. The cages are simple, large, and the ability to design your own outdoor aviary. The birds make all different, and can and make up a total o 25 different sounds/noises. If a bird lives outside, birds of prey can get them, if using a bird outside in the open, a bird of prey cam come out of nowhere and kill them. If not properly trained, then cats can get into cages or in the open and eat your birds. If the two get along really well, then sometimes the birds will perch on the cats. What if once you mastered that feat of bird perched on cat, there would be an achievement unlocked. The achievement would just be for fun to get people to smile.
Hi, I would add that it would be particularly helpful to be able to save pet coats so that we can modify a pet we just adopted, for instance, with a coat we made. Since it takes a lot of time to make them (and paint them), being able to save them in CAP would really be interesting. Saving them in the gallery resets the pet in the family and does not modify an existing one. This feature was also in the Sims 3.
Further more, I think it would be nice to revamp the coat genetics for pets so that we can get babies with a mixture of the two parents instead of a carbon copy of one of the parents' coat. This was also in the Sims 3 I believe.
