Aside from building beautiful things, I also love creating themed ones like this one. This is my entry for Match Up 1. Brickstone Backalley
The Brickstones rent out this old building from a crabby landowner, though they initially started out as squatters. It was thanks to Uncle Guss' smooth talk that they were able to negotiate staying here.
Mom Clara loves to paint outside; it's also where Jim-Boy practices breakdancing.
They weren't allowed to construct walls as part of the deal, so the family used dividers to maintain a sense of privacy. Kim's area stands out as being the neatest compared to the other areas in the home. Next to it is a study area which was meant to be Uncle Guss' area until he moved downstairs. Jim-Boy sleeps next to his sister's area.
The messiest part of the house is where Mom Clara and Dad Frank stay. Months of unwashed laundry and dishes loiter in this area. Some of Mom Clara's prized works, like "Oblivion" and "Nothingness" can be seen hanging on the walls.
Here's the kitchen and living area; Uncle Guss prefers to sleep here so that he can watch TV all day.
Brickstone Back Alley is a great home! I will repost here what I wrote on the challenge thread. It was great looking at the pictures and reading the accompanying creatively written descriptions! The brick texture of the exterior and interior walls of the home looks great, and the overgrown plants gives a great look to the build to reflect the theme! The grafitti looks great on the walls! The enlarged truck looks great in the build. The art nook is nice for Clara to enjoy painting on the easel in the outdoors air, and will enjoy watching Jim-boy dancing to the music from the radio player there whilst painting. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home to suit the family! There are many great details in the home! The screen shades look great dividing off the areas. Kim's bed area is nice. It is nice that there is a bookshelf beside her bed so as she can read in bed or whilst sitting at the study table. The black picture on the master bedroom area walls looks great! The clothing looks great left on the floors! Nice design of the home to have Uncle Guss' sleeping area near the tv so that he can watch tv through day and night. The bottles near the bed look great. The picnic table for the sims to dine at suits the theme of the home.
The home is very nice for the challenge family of Sims

My grandmother's house is a bit tricky to recreate because it has no specific architectural style and she just kinda winged it when she had it built.
