@derwasdas and @Plaizealot most take a week few are 2 day builds like Bohonogogo or a month and a half builds like The Morgan and Saxon House but thank you for your kind words and if you check out the gallery there are more homes that I have yet to showcase as I still build so taking the time to photo and put up takes away from building :D

    The Saxon House
    01-22-16_8-31-43nbspPM.png
5 bedroom 6 bath + plus a servents bedroom and Bathrooms in spa

This will be a quick over view followed by a more in depth photo showcase.
wanted to do a larger tudor era home with a wide open living area which lead me to this plan
    house_335__a_tudor_storybook_luxury_home_by_built4ever-d3cs1lh.jpg

Few minor changes with breakfast nook added and other minor changes through out. Third floor has a game room and servant quarters with 2 beds divided by screens and a sitting area for them to relax or you can take away the screen and throw 2 teenagers up there.
I altered Garage to a Carriage house with a art studio and yoga / meditation room and stairs leading down to pool grotto and spa with showers and lockers and bathrooms.
The back yard is made up of a large pool a hidden glade through a hedge maze that also leads to a fountain area with seating all about.
On the east side of house is a play area for kids and a horse shoe pit and on the west side is a gardening area behind the carriage house.

    Onto quick look

    The Saxon House
    01-24-16_9-24-46nbspPM.png

The House is a English Tudor design based on the Medieval English concept of a central great hall. It is a 5 bedroom 7 bath home with a detached two story carriage house with a underground pool and spa area. Placing this would be in Windenburg on either of the 64x64 lots I built it on the mainland lot.
I made minor alterations to the floor plan and the third floor is completely made by me and limited by the sims as we can not have half walls a vaulted up from half walls but it still turned out rather good.
The grounds themselves are what took me the majority of time to make as it was such a large area to cover and I wanted to do a Maze area around a fountain as many Manors in that day had them along with small herb gardens which I also included.

Well let up get on with it With out further adieu Saxon House

Saxon House Grounds, Carriage house and Spa
    01-26-16_12-10-05nbspAM_zpsk9oocjih.png

I decided to add a garage but wanted to go period compliant which meant Carriage House did not make it a extra house but more of a spa meditation and studio ... upstairs . Once you go down stairs you enter the Spa pool grotto.

The Saxon House is such a very nice home! :) It is such a very, very detailed home! The outdoors areas are so very pretty! The flowers and plants through the outdoors looks so very nice! Very nice exterior of the home! The furnishing of each of the rooms and areas of the interior of the home looks so very, very nice! The carriage house is so very nice! Very nice basement level pool and spa! You would have put so much time and work into building, furnishing, and landscaping this very nice home build! It has so many very nice details, features and areas in it!
The home is so very nice! :)

I haven't quit the game just got rather depressed as after all the work on Saxon House and no one downloading it (poor numbers Honestly ) I just got disheartened with building I log in see maxis faves which honestly are just not in my eyes up to par, I see so many showcases on here and think wth why are none of these getting up. It is just honestly a kick in the gut. I mean builders or even simmers put hours and days into the work upload and no response when people download just a little recognition would be nice I mean Bless your Heart @rosemow for responding to all showcases it helps but .... sigh I don't know .....

Thank you @Hermitgirl I just wrapped up another house another 1 bedroom very whimsy and fairy like showcase should be up shortly and Yes I love the Hathaway My child hood babysitter had it as a real house :D

SO yeah comments are the lifeblood of builder Especially me I mean I could go back to building just for myself and not upload anymore which I am starting to feel like as it just seems not worth the effort ....oh well Ta Lamsby Lodge SHowcase is going up as soon as I upload the photos then I will go from there but I am going to slow down in building or rather uploading

Well you do really good work @rcone. You know you do and many others do too.
Sometimes we all need a break though. Sims for me is a game that I can play when I'm feeling happy and creative. Lately I haven't been feeling much of either.. due to life issues.. so I've been off playing other sorts of games in my free time that don't need creativity to pass the time...but it's coming back now. I can enjoy it again and that's actually why I left the comment when I did.
These are my favorite sims characters the ones that I keep going back to and the ones that make me smile. You gave them a home. Their names are Ancillia and Leonardo. First they upgraded the stove and fridge, because they have mad skills.
    295e7nl.jpg
Leonard added the tub he crafted ( I think it fit well and I loved the way this bathroom was done)
    wwc57o.jpg
I love the garden area. I had just pulled them out of my library a week or so before so the garden isn't done yet. They had to make the money to buy the house too ;). Good thing paintings sell for so much.
    2ebd10i.jpg
Anyway, they are home now and send their thanks!
    15zru6r.jpg

I can imagine you get out of it (building) something that makes you feel accomplished, and I get wanting the comments also.. a recognition of the effort.
All I can say is don't feel bad if you need to step away and put your efforts somewhere else for awhile. This is your downtime it should be enjoyable and or satisfying to you.
I'll be on the lookout for the next upload either way :).

@Hermitgirl See thats the feed back that makes me keep going back in Sims 2 I was a prolific builder and would get feed back much like what you just did I honestly love seeing what people do with the homes as honestly I have no patience for playing with the characters I zen is building then furnishing out the house so it looks like a actual house :D I just always hated the homes they built for us to use ....ugh.
Lamsby Lodge is up on the gallery just waiting on the uploading of pictures

    Lamsby Lodge

Lamsby is a 1 bedroom 1 bath large back yard with a natural pond I used Get together and the 2 newest Packs Wanted to make a small house and started on a small lot but then the Garden pack came out and well... I screamed OMG YES I love the new garden objects and flowers so I moved the house to a larger lot and Tada. There is not a lot of room to ad items but you can the house is compact all space is used. BUt yeah took me about 2 weeks because As I said earlier after Saxon and the lack of response I just lost motivation and played other games. Honestly comments are cookies if you like something someone made leave a comment if you download it eve n a <3 is like a pat on the back and feeds the making of the next house or Sim or Room. Feedback is Cookies feed the Monster ...please

Ok so on to the showcase of Lamsby Lodge

@rcone Lamsby Lodge is beautiful! I lOVE LOVE LOVE all the landscaping. That pool area is just perfect. The whole house is put together so well. You did a wonderful job on this build (and really all your others). I can definitely see that you're dedicated to making these homes for sims to live in. You definitely put a lot of planning into your builds and I admire that, really. I will definitely be adding this to one of my neighborhoods. Keep up the great work!

Lamsby Lodge is such a very nice home! :) The outdoors areas look so very, very nice! The flowers and plants through the outdoors areas look so very, very pretty! The items from the Romantic Garden stuff pack look so very nice how you have used them in the build! The statues and water fountain area nook looks very nice, and very nice pool area!. The cherry blossom trees add to the very nice look of the home, Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! The items from Movie Stuff pack look very nice in the rooms and compliment with the very nice floral outdoors setting so well! The patterned curtains look very nice in the rooms. Very nice conservatory! The flowers and plants look very nice there. The coat and shoes nook looks homely and nice. Very nice design of the kitchen! The cabinets look very nice how they are placed there, and the curved island bar stool counter looks great! The fruit bowl, paper towel, hanging pots, tea set on top of the cabinet, dishrack and cookbooks are nice kitchen touches on the room. Very nice windows alcove dining area! It looks so very nice! The green colour scheme of the seating and curtains gives a very nice look to the area. The furnshing of the bedroom is very nice! Nice study desk area in the room for sims to enjoy sitting there using the computer. The wall texture complements well with the colour of the bed and the patterned curtains on the windows. The curtains look very nice on the bedhead wall.
It is a very nice home! :)

Oooh! Lamsby Lodge is adorable! Cute architecture and I adore the garden. Like the way you have decorated inside too. Very cosy and welcoming. Good job! :)

Do not get discouraged that you are not getting much downloads of your builds. It is the sims 4 gallery. New uploaded builds disappear after a few minutes. Lost in all the uploads. It is not like the sims 3 exchange where all the uploads were visible for the whole day. Everyone could see your build and download it. Lots of established builders are suffering from the gallery system too. Only the lucky few are getting decent downloads. Nowadays if you do not get a Maxis favourite your builds do not get much of a chance for getting downloads. Simply because lots of simmers do not see it. So keep on building because you love to build. Your builds are very detailed and charming! I love it. Happy simming! :)

@yanti68 yeah just thought it would be like it was in Sims 3 had a huge following under a dif name .... don't ask I have freaking forgot the name I used lol The Maxis Faves just boggle my mind they fave empty houses, no landscaped , big boxes barely finished just seems like a popularity club When Like I said you see so many showcases that have FAR superior builds FAR better then mine ALl my houses are playable to I made a family for S & G and moved them around while leveling them just to see what game play is like still not to enthused about the game play but building away. Have not yet picked another floor plan but I will at some point.

Next up is the very first home I made in SIms 4 Called the Hiawatha
I went back to it last night to look at it Moo was used outside but not in the inside and is playable Its very cottage like and cute has a basement I did not really change the decorating inside as I did it with a very 60s/70s feel and liked it so not to much clutter but will be going up on the gallery later tonight with the improvements
