I have never experienced it because I found out about it when it was already Down. I saw the videos on Youtube and I really liked how things were in that kind of game. So what do you guys think, do you want it back?
I understand that Second Life is a pretty good sandbox, though, if you're interested in that kind of thing. It takes awhile to figure it out, but a lot of people like it.
If you are interested in challenges; check out the Reincarnation challenge right at this link! here!| If you want spectator mode; go to this link. (for sims 3) here
Not at all. TSO was a game I did not enjoy and would prefer that the sims stay a single player game. You know, I don't mind how super star-or whatever it was called was in TS3, where you had other peoples sims visit as performers but I don't want every single sim to be played by another person.
Get to play with friends.
Meet new interesting people.
Quite immersive collaborative & interactive wise. There will be alot of Group influence activites.
It's fun to show off something that tends to leave good impressions which is usually stats or rare/high level aquired possesions.
Cons:
MMOs have no offline play.
There is still chances of meeting unsavoury characters.
You may still have to pay for added content & you may be restricted from specific places if you have not aquired access to the content. This is a downside as you may end up left out if all your friends prefer to play in a zone restricted to you.
There will be times when the server is down for maintenance which is usually only for just an hour or so at least once a month.
You will not be able to play if the server goes down

I think FreeSO is pretty fun too, I kind of like the graphics even though it is different from all the other sims games.
as long as it T rated teen rated, I would try it. I never got to pay it. My older sister got to play it and she loved it and talked about it all the time. And I think she had a boyfriend in the sims online . but she loves to make friends.
here I think it's a lot of loners, so loners would not like to play a game with others. But I would like to play it. and I want to keep our sims games too. I want everything everything.
we'll give you a full refund. Just make sure you make your request within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from your date of purchase, or within seven days from the game's release date if you pre-ordered, whichever comes first.

I never got to plays The Sims Online Original either. I never knew after I knew TS1 was here. I didn't know it would shutdown on 4.35AM August 1st... But like, paying like $9.95/€8.46 and a lot of unhappy users was a good reason to close EA-Land/The Sims Online. I hope FreeSO stays forever <:(
I never got to play the online version. I played Sims Social on Facebook and liked it, although I found it far too pay oriented and time restrictive. The time limits were awful. I wanted an offline version of it. I think Freeplay is more like it now. Online worlds can be alot of fun. But you are limited, especially if there's pay content and pay areas. I would rather have a game I have full access to.
Well Cardigan. Now you can play the online version. Go to this website: http://freeso.org. I got banned once and I'm getting unbanned. Now... instructions.
1: Create a new account in FreeSO
2: Download the FreeSO Launcher
3: Optional: Go to patch.rar. Extract it. Download TSO downloaded here: http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/misc/tso/, or get it by disc. Need to do: Download and install FreeSO and TSO directly from launcher.
4: Have fun.

Online would be a bad idea for deviant Simmers like me.
I never got to play TS Online myself.. It required a subscription if I remember correctly.
