Type: Residential (see description as to why it's set that way)
Lot Size: 40 x 30
CC-free
This old town hall was renovated and turned into a fully-operational police station. Thoroughly play-tested.
How to place: While working as a detective, travel to the default PS for work. Use bb.enablefreebuild cheat, enter Build mode, then place this lot over the default. Optional: Rotate it 180 degrees (so it faces the hospital) because that is how I intended it. It will work perfectly fine if you don’t, but part of the tilework may get messed up.
The first workday after lot placement might be a bit weird with inmates roaming around despite being labeled as “locked up”, but everything will get back to normal on as soon as you leave the lot, then return (either after a patrol, or on the 2nd day).
Why is it set as Residential? For some reason “special” venue types get saved as Residentials in the gallery. Had it been set to “Generic” or any other communal type, the game would not recognize it as a police station and you would not have been able to complete certain career-related daily tasks, like “return to the station”.
! Important !: Gallery might shuffle the rugs, change mood-based woodworking sculptures and will unframe paintings and photos.
Search “Town Hall”, ju1ka (ID) or #Jools. You can also download the tray files on my blog.
The exterior design and outdoors areas of Town Hall are very nice! The design of it as a town hall turned into a police station looks very great! The brick texture of the exterior and the type of and way you have placed the windows in the build looks very nice. Very nice clock tower! The front courtyard area looks so very nice! Very nice water fountain feature! The knight on the pedestal in the water fountain and and the flowers around the base of it looks so nice! The plants beds either sides of the front steps and the raised flower beds on the side of the build look very nice. Very nice courtyard flooring patterning! The flagpoles look great placed in the OR bins and in a row along the front of the build! The car park and enlarged cars look great. Very nice roof covered front porch! Very nice furnishing and layout of the interior of the building! The flooring patterning in each of the rooms looks so very great! It is nice that you have a basement level in the build. Very nice front desk counter area! The star badges on the counter area wall and on the counter look great there. The cactus, books and filing box on the counters, and the plaques on the brick pillars each side of the counter area are great touches there. Very nice office and study area room where you have placed the fridge. The filing cabinets look nice how you have placed them either sides of fridge. Nice study deck corner nook for sims to enjoy sitting at and using the computer to do their work. They will like sitting on the seats reading a book from the bookshelf or having a meal or drink from the fridge. The steel display shelves item with all the items on and under the shelves looks great! Very nice gym! Sims will enjoy using the different types of fitness equipment there to keep fit. The brick wall texture and the patterned flooring look very nice together. It looks great how you have set up the office area which has the individual computer nooks! The way you have placed the desks face to face creates a great look. The wanted posters on the wall look very great! The lamps are nice touches on the desks. The heart teddy is cute there! The coat stand is a great touch there. Very nice cafeteria room! It looks nice how you have set up the tables and chairs for sims to sit on and have a meal or drink from the fridge. The flowers are nice touches on the tables. The fridges look nice placed either sides of the bookcases. Sims will enjoy coming there to have a drink and a read whilst taking a break from working. The street artwork on the jail cell floors looks great!
The build is a very nice career lot for sims to enjoy working in!

Jools, Love your City Spa! Some of my favorite things aside from the Gorgeous architecture, are the covered benches to wait for the bus, the flower kiosk and not sure what it's called, but the advertising billboard structure. These are all So Cool! The interiors are Fabulous. I especially like the shelves behind the arched doorway.
Town Hall is another Gorgeous design both outside and in. Love those mug shots and cells with the graffiti on the floor.

This is a new version of Art Cafe. I changed the exterior a bit, and updated it with Get Together content. The original build was set to “Retail”, whereas this one is a “Cafe”. It still meets the “Retail” requirement if you want to change it back.

I advise you to have MOO *on* when placing this because I noticed half the ivy will be gone from the walls if MOO is inactive upon placement.
