toddlers, their furniture and family trees are defo the big missing part for me. I can only hope that if these arent added through an update that there will be an EP VERY SOON in order to obtain this. Im a family simmer and it is a big change!

I do like how the sims interact with eachother more whilst doing activities however i feel their needs are very difficult to handle sometimes (more than S3) and it takes alot of time to get everyone happy (without using the cheat)
I also miss picking the school for kids/teens and boarding school to get past the awkward child age.

I LOVE CAS <3. Its really good and much easier to use! I love that we can put so much more detail into each sim and I can spend hours making just a few sims.

But seriously.. baby just staying in the crib... CRAP!

I just thought of this.. you know what would be cool? If our sims could watch movies. Have them buy DVD's kinda similar to how they buy books. This could be tied into social events as well. They could have a "family movie night" or "horror movie night" ... have it similar to how it is when they watch the culinary videos where they do it for a period of time. They could make popcorn and hot chocolate. Play card games as well as board games and trivia games, like these could be skills.. kinda like how it is with logic.

It'd be cool too if they could camping.. like have it as a social event but make it longer, they could make s'mores and tell scary stories around the fire, going fishing & collect items, go hiking, pitch a tent or maybe even have an RV that can be customized. Y'know this could be an EP.

Those are awesome ideas!! I like the camping/movie night ideas in particular.

It would be kind of nice if you could ask your friends to do favors for you depending on their skill level - like if someone has a high handiness skill, you could ask them to fix your broken items, if they have a high cooking skill, ask them to cook for you, etc. Because having to buy a new toilet every 2 days or choose to max out your Sim's handiness skill is a bit ridiculous.

Someone brought up in another thread how it'd be nice if, since there's no Open World (which I kinda like better because my game doesn't lag) but if at least the stores and public lots had more of an "open world" type thing going. That way you can just run all your errands at once, y'know?

-Married sims don't have to live together!
    -Promise rings as teens.
    -Pregnancy tests.

    Dislikes:
-Lack of family tree, this is my main problem! Also the game doesn't register daughter-in-law,step son etc.
-No toddlers! They where my favourite life stage and to see a baby jump from 2 to 6/7 is just silly.
-Lack of sliders to control sims life span. I like to have more flexibility and make my elders last a couple of sims days or else they over populate my town!
    -No colour wheel.
-Loading screens. I find myself forcing my sims to stay inside the house as i cant deal with loading screens, even to go next door.
-Lack of career choices, I have the buffest sim ever and he has to go in the criminal career as there is no athletic route.
-Not being able to assign beds! This drives me insane! My child will be in her room on her computer and her brother will walk in with his girlfriend and just start woohooing, disregarding the fact i clicked on HIS bed!
-No public woohoo, and only one woohoo spot for that matter.
-No restaurants, bars (mine never functions properly as there is never a mixologist on duty) or clubs etc.
-Females not taking the males name at weddings. I know not everyone would want this so it would be a great idea if at the wedding a box popped up and asked if you wanted to take the grooms name?
-Cheating doesn't seem to bother anyone. Seriously, my sims mom woohoo'd with her husband on their wedding night and she was just sat watching tv smiling.
    -No graveyard.
-No ability to have sims take photos and being able to place them on walls or dressers etc.
    -Small neighbourhoods.
-No story progression! It's so sad to see sims just grow old and die alone.
    -Lack of traits.
-The socialise with coworkers at work or school option doesn't actually make you friends. I miss when my kid came home and it said 'they met ... at school today.'
-It takes my sims over an hour to wash their hands. Not to mention everything else that takes way to long.
-The days do not seem long enough at all.
-No skip work or call in sick option.
    -No maternity or paternity leave.
-No sleepovers, and now pools are in the game it would be good to see a 'pool party' option.

What I would like to see:
-Attractions between sims, like in Sims 2. Turn ons and offs.
    -Prom!
    -Boarding school
-Illnesses, or injuries. It would be cool if say a sims came home from work and had an accident and broke their leg so they had to take it easy and other sims could bring food to them etc.

I think this base game exceeds all other base games so far in The Sims franchise, as it should. People should not be comparing The Sims 4 to any other game because 1) it is a completely new game 2) it is only a base game, it is not built but over a decade like the other games. The graphics exceed any other game.
As for these "open worlds" people are wanting, The Sims 3 was very laggy, it had a lot of problems and what they have learned from that is it is just not possible to keep everything open, the game just crashed too much and you'd have to have a super computer to be able to run it smoothly for hours like most sims players want to do and in a closed world it would take just as long as with a loading screen to reach a lot as it would with an open world because it takes so long to load and you aren't wasting sim time & your time. However, I don't think its unreasonable to ask for open neighborhoods, having 4-6 houses loaded with public space would be nice, but for now, it's fine how it is and I don't really think the producers will ever open up the neighborhoods, let alone the entire worlds.
As for content of this game, there are more items than any other base game, I think i saw where someone counted over 1,000 items. That is impressive and gives us more to work with within just a base game.
Build mode has improved severely compared to past games, it is easy to use, but has enough tools to satisfy those of us who love building and get very detailed. There are a few things to work on but most things will just be added with time.
CAS has also improved greatly. Customization is a huge part of this game and i think they have hit the nail on the head with CAS. With the base game there is a huge variety of clothing, accessories, and hairstyles.
Now i think gameplay is lacking. There is a lot of detail in animation and landscaping which i greatly appreciate because it makes the game feel more real but there is not a lot to do with your sims. This is expected out of a base game though, and I felt this way when I played The Sims 2 base game, and the sims 3 base game. More things to do with your sims will come with EP’s.
I like how they are adding things in patches, such as pools and ghosts. These things are classics in the Sims franchise and is to be expected in a base game, even if it’s a few months late.
Another thing that I don’t think would be a huge lag on the game is just a color wheel, we don’t need the entire CASt, but I think a color wheel for CAS and build mode is necessary. We don’t need all the obscure patterns we had before in sims 3, but we need at least a color wheel!
Now I have a huge complaint. Careers, mailmen, cars, any other services, paperboy. We don’t have cars, we don’t get into taxi’s, we don’t see the pizza man pull up to our curb, or the mailman, we can see our sims walk onto the trolley’s, our sims just walk off the lot and go *poof* when they go to their job. This is worse than “rabbit holes” at least when we had rabbit holes in The Sims 3 we go to see them walk into the building that coordinated with their career, now they just disappear and it just feels so fake. I wish they would make a separate world that had a few neighborhoods and in these neighborhoods would be buildings for careers, city hall, business complex, a restaurant (or 2), police station, Fire station, hair salon, spa, movie theatre, grocery store, bookstore, library, hospital, schools. Maybe have City hall, Police station, Fire station and hospital all in one neighborhood, the main part of the town. Have the business complex, 1 resturant, school, library, and bookstore in one neighborhood. Then have the grocery store, spa, salon, movie theatre, and another restaurant in this neighborhood. Then have a neighborhood with a bar, a gym, a lounge, other entertaining places. Then have a main park with a family area for barbeques, have an area dedicated to new sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis) swing sets, basic park things. Then they can name this world “Business District” or “Downtown” obviously I do not expect something like this in a patch, maybe a EP with a theme along the lines of “ambitions” “open for business” “downtown”
This world would open opportunities for sims such as entertaining places to be, new skills, new jobs (nursing/doctors, part time jobs[grocery store clerk, spa assistant, book store clerk, ticket taker @ movie theatre], teachers, fire fighter, policemen, Politian, businessmen, journalists, cooks, stylists, musical entertainers, composers)
Most of these places would most likely be rabbit holes but at least you have the feeling of going downtown and enjoying a movie like you did in the sims 3. Rabbit holes are not your enemy, but in some cases they were over used, like at restaurants, grocery stores, spas. Maybe schools.
This is the only real thing that I think is missing from the base game, but I doubt we would get something like this in a patch.
I think we should have family trees also.
Overall this game is a step up from any other, just lacking some content and depth that the sims 3 base game had.

Firstly thank you for adding pools, ghosts and other freebies.

I am thoroughly surprised, it's what I hoped it would be with more focus on the game play similar to that of TS1 and TS2, and the build mode is much more user friendly.

It's nice to see that the game can adjust to the computers specs better, the game runs smooth on low settings and doesn't look too bad. I for one don't mind the loading screens, a lot of other games have these too and it does appear to have improved the games performance in other areas.

It's great to see sims reacting to each other more, like parents hugging their children, smiling, looking sad. I've also noticed sims react to their surroundings more, whether they are kicking over a bin or noticing dirty dishes. I also much prefer the new route system for sims, it's a huge improvement and works about 99% of the time.

I also love the graphics, so much more in depth colour. And the space, small houses no longer look extra tiny and I can now properly judge where to put an item so that the sims can still use it.

I also love being able to set the maximum life span of sims and reduce how much the sims do autonomously.

The only negative for me is the missing burglars, for me they added to the game.

Edited: I am now playing on a different computer that can play the game.

    here my feedback:

since i'm really new in the sim world(the sims 4 is my first and ony game), i liked a lot of things, the emotions, the control but after play a lot i started to dislike a lot of things:
here what i want improviment and dont liked

    traits:
too few ones specially emotions, i'm missing things like:
jealous(not just the debuff for cheating but a really jealous sim) a sim who can become angry when you are too much friendly or if you are the jealous you become too angry when your partner become too friendly with others sims(good friends or better)

cowardice - sims who just are too scared of everything - sims who can pee themselfs if take a great scare or even die of fear

shy - sims who like loners have trouble to make friends but unlike the loner their want have friends but is just a little hard for then

serious - sims who aways act serious and dont like to tell jokes or make pranks

    arrogant sims

    curious sims

fear of something/complex - sims who have fear of something: water, fire, plants, childs, animals, dark,

also the lacking of slot for traits, i feel who 1 for child, 2 for teen and 5 for young adult; adult and elder is too little and not really progressing i want a more "progressive" something like:

    2 child
    3 teen
    4 young adult
    5 adult
    6 elder
because as we grow we gain or change some traits their not just get stagnated when we hit young adult, and a store reward to give a extra slot,

i also noticed some good hidden traits which where supposed to be the store reward like memorable or sincere who are good traits but you can't have acess to then.

here we have room for a better improviment

the npcs AI system - at the moment the current default AI is too bugged and the sims are very predictable and stupids when you let then play alone, basically if you have a pc or a virtual carpet game in your home, every sim in your house will go crazy play games on them, if you dont have then their just go dance if their can't dance their will hear music if their can't their go a little based on trait or skill, a active sim with exercise machines in home will go using it all the day a sim with inspired mod only do something related to this if their or have a painter thing or a bar, if you have any of that 2 their goes wild on then, if you have a observatory then their become a crazy adicted to this.

what is lacking is more interaction, if you have more than 1 sim in your home, even visitors their barelly speak, chat, interact their just prefer goes lone and does others things and forget the world even if their are not loners, i'm currently using a mod with a very good AI who even not being perfect is 10000000% better than the base AI, also the story progress, if i dont "cheat and control" the EA sims npcs their will age and die without actually fill their background role play, don lotario is supposed to be womanizer and probably be full of babys but if i'm not near him, he does nothing, even if i'm near him, he probably still does "nothing", the autonomous AI is really, really poor, missing a lot of interactions, i dont see "evil sims" being evil, i dont see sims trying to whoo hoo or have babys by themselfs or ask for marriage or things like that, if i dont force then to speak with me their even dont speak, the "emotions system" which was promissed to be awesome, is just "good" the currently sim AI system is really too poor, i dont see sims with mechanic and genius trying to make sculptures or writers sim trying to write or programers try to program, the AI is too much "basic and poor, specially with the new pool patch only using a mod who my sims goes alone to the pool otherwise their just ignore it.

more control over the game options, specially age and game time

currently the default ages short, normal and long for me at last are too short, i dont want highlander sims or too crazy high ages but i'm still missing more options before never age, something like:

short, normal, long, very long and epic
my idea for a very long and epic ages:

    very long
    baby 5
    child/teen 60
    young adult/adult 110
    elder 70

    epic
    baby 10
    child/teen 120
    young adult/adult 220
    elder 140

or we have option to manually choose numbers who fit better what we want for each age not just a group of age, we can setup the age for each step: baby, child, teen, young adult, adult and elder or a more separated table.

in game time flower, the current for each 1 sim minute take 1sec is really too fast, specially if you have large family, you dont have enough time to work on all the characters, most of the things who we does take a lot of time, a good exemple is to really go full to a work we must prepar our characters 2+ hours before, because just to eat can take 1 hour(🐸🐸🐸🐸 who in a real world take 1 hour to eat) i thing a better number could be for each sim minute take something between 2 to 4 secs, we get a option to choose between 1, 2, 3 or 4 or like in age we have total freedom to choose how much realtime each sim minute take, because really is really annoying, how many times i needed to does the same event to make a aspiration just because i never have enough time to work on it or i needed just to rush it and ignore most of the event, the current time is too unfair, just does a little chat easy take hours.

more skills and like one guy told many things are "taking too much time" but i feel who the big problem is not their taking too much time but the game time goes to fast, if the game time goes more slow and we "get more time" probably the things dont look taking too much time, but currently is really taking, to make a full cicle before goes to work you wake 2 hours early or more then eat, then goes to pee and wash hand if your washbasin is high quality and have all improviments then you need only wash your hands but if not and you need take a shower then you easy lose 2 hours doing something which was supposed to take at best 1 hour and half but more like 1 hour

since we get a pool we really lack a swin skill, this make the learn to swin or teach meanless, a sculpture skill, using mechanic to make sculptures is really weird, or a carpenty skill

more careers and make also adults does the teen jobs, i know a lot of adults who work with babies who work on fast foods, i thing the difference between teen and adult could be who the teen just get stucked in the work until he proper age, this means who for the next rank of the career he need to "age" to be promoted instead to the work just end at rank 3, have all teen works have 10 or 11 ranks like adult works but only adults can have high ranks, this also means who when their age their not get "kicked out" of their jobs just because their not teens anymore, to make even adults can take that jobs this make more real the game.

also more brackets for the careers, careers like artits, have more things than comedy and play instruments, we have singers, tricksters, i'm also missing more jobs, like gardeneers, even a pool cleaner for teens, policeman, politic, fireman, medic, lawers, newspaper boy, priest, a master thief(instead of want be a boss a criminal also can want become the master robber in the world) postman.

more places for build houses(a more big city) we have a lot of unacessible places who could be places to build houses to have more sims living, and more different type of places, currenty we have, residence, night clubs, bars, exercise places, museum, park and a place for old peoples, i'm missing specially churchs to make marriage i see in the galery a lot of churchs being made by the users but their never be true churchs, in order for then to be used you must set then as night club or park or anything like that, the general type or building dont proper work specially for events you can't even select then to make your events, could be good fix the general type of place to be at last be able to select then to make your events.

the family tree is very broken, you only have the basic: father/mother; sister/brother; sibilins; uncle; cousin and grandfather, is really missing things like half sibilins(in game have that tag but dont work proper), great grandfather, uncle from great father half cousin or second degree cousin, in the CaS when i try to make a half-sibiling the system bug:

i creat a man A then a woman A, then from both i make a child, then i get the man A and create a woman B then from man A and woman B i create another child but when i go to that child the system change her mother to woman A, sumarize the sytem dont recognize when a child have a different parent, he set as if the first woman or guy aways will be the parent this a big mess, i even try to change that in game throught cheat but dont work and the system just turn back the half-sibilins to sibilins.

    more type of relationships
teen x young adult, i'm currently using a mod who allow teen and young have romance but using teen rules which dont look so wrong since have teens and young adults(between 18 and 20 years) is not uncommon)
well what i gonna ask can look a little dirt but i like complext storylines, and currently i'm trying to make a really big one with a large cast of sims with different problems and for some of that problem i need that...: well some sort of incest or at last when half-sibilins get fixed to then and cousins be able to have romance or at last could be fun add some brother/sister complex to characters( in real life i dont like that things and feel really weird specially since i'm cristian, but this dont means who i dont like to see that things in fictions) could be interesting a trait like "brother/sister complex" or mother/father complex dont need to be really romantic but a sim who get easy jealous about his brother, sister, mother or father when their are flirting with peoples who their dont know when their have high friendship with the parent, their only accept the the unkow sim rise his relationship with the jealous sims and even sometmes he still can get a little debuff when their are flirting too much near him.

and a good fix is the "best friends" system currently you can only have one per time what in real life is weird you can have "multiple best friends" being a best friend dont means who that person is the only person which is your perfect friend you can have more of it, this is even worse if you best friend die and when you want to make a aspiration who need you have multiple best friends or marry your best friend you can't because he is dead and you can't reduce it, need to fix it for us can have more "best friends".

    now about the 2 patchs:
    first the pool
i'm disappointed with the lack of "features" their just give the basic pool but almost none furnitures and very limited actions, i'm missing laying near the pool to chat or take a sunburn, furnitures like long chairs to lay, balls, buoys, plastic water chairs, diving boards, challenge to swin naked, or when very flirt or playfull bath naked or bet on swin runs, a swin skill, to make teach and learn to swin more effienct, many ways to jump in the pool, bath towels to put in the floor and others furnitures, this patch come too much "basic" like the ghost patch who for me is missing a lot of things.
i liked to now have pools and swin on then but again when you invite your sims friends npcs to your home their dont even try to bath if you dont force then, another thing who i missing is to make pool events.

    now about ghosts patch:

again missing of furnitures, was added only one table and chair for ghost house but i feel lacking more things like spider web broken chairs and furnitures, and others things to make the house look more scare and about the ghost

again the big problem still on the stupid poor AI System i miss the ghosts being much more scare, is too easy to become friend with a ghost, even evil ghosts, i think who when a ghost die he born he must spawn with a strong "anger" debuff(+5) who make him at the beginner being a bad ghost, that debuff last few days(like a week) then after that become more easy to try be friend with him, if you have enough time you can become friend with a ghost in only one day, their even act too friend, even the ones which are supposed to be evil, the current AI system is too friendly and happy with every sim.

then going back feel something like:

good ghosts(ghost with traits for good) their appear without the debuff or with a weak(+2 or +! who last only one or 2 days)
neutral ghosts(neither good or evil traits) based on their traits their can come with the debuff being between +2 to +5
evil ghosts get a bonus and come with even more strong debuff +10 and last more time 2 weeks
ghosts with playfull or childsh trait their instead of angry their get a playfull debuff who make then just does tricks instead of be bed with the livings.
and make the ghosts act more like ghost in the beginner toward the livings, because currently the ghosts basically almost act like the livings, i feel their need act more ghostly like toward strange peoples.

well for me the really big odd currently in game is the autonomous AI, this need a fast and big improviment, the current one is really horrible, with sims drinking a lot for no reasons, or doing things completly opposed to their nature, (a evil sim being nice) all the sims are some sort of "drug dependants, i means their are too much focused on doing few things and only based on how much peoples are already doing that thing, we know who we are supposed to be controlling then but we have times when we want to control only one and let the others work alone or when we have npcs in your houses and their just act like stupids broken robots who only does the samething is horrible i want more naturally npcs, if i call someone to a pool he must at last try to stay a few more not just does a swin and run to play game(even if he not supposed to be gamer maniac).

another thing which i could like to see in game a "home alone" be able to play at last with teen, since a teen can have a job and pay bills why we cant start as a teen or a more hardcore style play as child, we receive a allowance to pay the bills and can from the very beginner just with a child and see her all age, that also could be cool the currently being forced to play adult is so annoying.

well i have more things but basically that are the things i miss more currently in game.

I agree with everything. We got new game with removing everything that we like so much. I was expecting that they will add something new, or we will have the game with all that we love at once, since it is Sims 4! But no. What we got is the old one Sims 1 or 2 without anything inside. Empty game. And, excuse me, how long we have to wait to fill this game? 10 years??

And whole world looks not real at all! In real world we have a postman, police, fire department, repairman etc. We have shops, restaurants, beaches, weather, cinemas, theaters (like in sims 3), stadiums etc. People have emotions, real one, human like jealous, sickness...
Where all those? Nothing there in sims 4! And nothing is going on in the world!

    What you liked:
-I like that there are more recipes!! I don't know who came up with the silly gummy bear pancakes, but YOU ROCK!! I love it! :D
-I love that the food really looks like yummy food.
-I love that my Sims can multitask. To me this is one of the best features of this game.
-I love that I can so effortlessly make friends with my neighbors.
-I am one for building, while my siblings tend to love just playing the games for the Sims themselves. So I quite enjoy the number of available options in build mode for me to use to build homes.
-There are so many personality traits to choose from, things certainly can get interesting just in one family household.
-I like that I can now have pool parties that are amazing!

    What you didn't like:
-Where are the cars? I love cars! I think that was the biggest surprise for me at there were no cars.
-This game doesn't allow for blended families. It sucks when you have to be in the same house in order for your family relations to be recognized. How can you play your family in the game if the game does not recognize a Sim that should be your half-sister by marriage? Especially if you do not live under the same roof. She should be identified as my half-sibling and not as an acquaintance, regardless of what house we live in.
-I used to love my Sims hanging out all day at the cafe, but there are none in this game.
-I miss the color customization of clothing. I don't want something pre-selected. I want to have unique Sims wearing clothing with unique colors that represent who they are.
-I may not be a fan of Sim babies, but my sister (who loves keeping her Sims as babies for what seems like eternity) mentioned how she missed having all kinds of things for babies and toddlers to play with. She was sad that you can only interact with babies through the bassinet. So for her, I really do hope you guys add back in the different childhood stages and all the walkers, potty chairs, etc.
-I don't mind not having an open world, but I would love to be able to create new lots within the two worlds currently provided.
    - I want to be a doctor who works at a hospital. I can't be a doctor who goes to work at a hospital, because there is no hospital. :'(

    Suggestions?
Please bring back the cars!! Pretty please!
Assigned beds? I loved that feature.
Possibly allowing roofs to be different colors and material.

    Overall thoughts?
It has potential to actually surpass The Sims 3 as my favorite version of the Sims; however, right now it feels more like an updated version of Sims 2. That's only because so many of the features that I have become accustom to seeing in The Sims 3 are no longer available in The Sims 4. It feels like a step back and not a step forward for some of the reasons that I have listed above (sorry, but you did ask for my thoughts). The expansion packs that I think would be awesome in The Sims 4 would definitely be Seasons, Showtime and University Life. Imagine the possibilities... o:)

    What I liked:
*Some people think the graphics are lazy, but I think they're good. It has a bit of a blockier style then the last games, and you know it's good when I start to get entertained by eagerly trying to see what each item looks like in that style.
*Create-a-Sim. Others note how it was overly hyped and wasn't what it was cracked up to be, but I love it. It allows me to create more looks in my Sims, and to me, sliders are time-consuming to use. Looking forward to more clothes and items, but those are obviously going to be included so I'm fine for now.
*The layout of everything. It only took me a bit to get used to everything, and once I knew, everything flew by easily and quickly. It gave me the easy life simulation feeling and I love it.
*Personalities are extremely flexible now, and that's a plus, because as a writer, I like to flesh out my characters a lot.
*The long awaited pools. That's all I have to say.
*Building is a breeze for me and was definitely worth all the commercials and clips showing the easier to build options.

    What I didn't like:
*Color wheels are what I really, really want. Something like the Sims 3 would be satisfying, considering you could choose patterns, have a wide variety of colors, and choose each part and make it a different color. Definitely made it so much easier to create a character from a book, show, movie, etc.
*I'm not very pleased with the whole toddler situation, but I can live without it. I can see the problems ahead for the generations challenges and such, though.
*I can also live without the open world, but it was enjoyable to have all of it, so I can't say I'm too happy about that, either.
*As the person said above, where's...the hospital..??
*Assigned beds, too. "NO, JOHN, THAT IS YOUR SISTERS BED STOP IT NO WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING IN HER BED THIS IS NOT OKAY"
*That's all I can really think of....

    Suggestions:
Toddlers, color wheels, an actual hospital, and assigned beds are the only things that I can suggest that are possible. May come up with a few later..

    Thoughts?:
Yehh, I love this game so much. Worth my $60, as much as Sims 3 was. There's steps up and steps down and some places, but overall, I look forward for more updates and items, and this game is definitely worth the wait for me.

well after see some coments here another feedback:

this is a must be doing before any exp

3 important enhances in gameplay options:

for age lenght add 2 more lengts and add a advanced option where the player can manually setup how many days each age step gonna have

add a option for peoples can setup the in game time speed, currently 1 sim minute = 1real world 1s, i never played others sims but i can say for sure who this is too much fast and unbalanced the time pass too fast, if you play with large familys, or try to focus on teens you will be doomed, because you gonna barelly have anytime, most of the actions take a lot of time to be done in a too much weird way, here the exemple:
i have a teen who goes to school as 08:00am and come back as 15:00(but he arrive at home between 15:03 and 15:06, now if i want a perfect play style, i go make him eat, then do the home work then goes pee and maybe bath, that full routine easy take more than 02:00 something near 3 hours to be done, then when i end the routine if the teen work in weekend i gonna end with little time or to goes to any place or speak, specially if my sim energy is too low, then i go directly to bed, then based on the quality of the bed i could end only have time to go to school again.

the current game time is really horrible another horrible exemple is if you try to chat with another sim, your time goes really, really away fast you can't really spend too much time to speak with anyone, you can barelly have time to have a hobby.

    then the suggestion:
a option where you can set how much real time each sim minute gonna take in game, options between 1 to 10 s, this means who you can make each minute inside the game take 10s instead of one, then if let's say eat take 10 sim minutes and 10 real time seconds to happen with this the eat will gonna still take 10 realtime secs to happen but only 1 sim minute , then the player will gonna end with free 9 minutes to do others things, well if this can make the game too easy and unbalanced, then you can add a little delay of 0.50s(half of a second) to the things then again the exemple

let's say eat currently take 10s in real time and 10 minute in sim time.

if you keep the default 1m = 1s no change happen
    if you set to 2s
then then you goes eat with the change the the characater is supposed to take 10s real time and 5 minutes in sim time, but with a increase of 0,5 he gonna take a extra of 30s per minute in sim time, then the eat action will take 15 secon ds in real time and 7:30 minutes in sim time, leaving for the player a room of 2:30 minutes to do another thing, then in a big routine of 2hours he gonna take only 1 houran 30m to do, leaving 30 minutes for the sim do another thing, this can make peoples have much more free room to work on the sims and what their want to do cuz currently that game time is too unfair.

for me that 2 options are very important to be added for game balance and for peoples who want have more time without break too much game balance, or need to go too extreme(using external mods or disabling options)

as i told before currently i'm play in a world with 50 created sims(i'm only true control 10) and without disable age is impossible to play with most of then and with the current in game time speed also is hard to try to make sims does others things than his daily routine(goes to night clubs, parks and things like that cuz, whenever i try to do something the time just end before i even can notice.

option to choose what you want to be loaded, that is for peoples with all sort of pcs

for peoples with average to low pcs, the default load only your house and around, for peoples with good pcs, be able to load the neighborhood for peoples with strong pcs be able to load your city and for peoples with top PCS be able to load the whole world, this can make the world progress more and peoples with low pc configurations will still be able to play, you just need to choose what is better for him and his current machine, and for peoples like me who want at last a more "living neighborhood can be good, currently if i dont leave my house i feel like living "alone" in my neighborhood even if all the houses are filled with sims, i can't even see then by the windows or their never leave their home even if their have pool, chess or any sort of entertainment in their garden, all the houses aways looks empty, then a option where the player can setup what he want based on his machine can be good.

that 3 options for me and a lot of peoples can really give a awesome balance and make the game more smooth.

I can't tell you how excited I was for the Sims 4 :) I can't wait to play it (I still haven't) to really have the experience. Anyway- my feedback. I've heard a lot about the Sims 4. What really annoys me is that there aren't toddlers. People like me, who are always looking for ways to make the game more realistic with mods and more natural things with the expansion packs, are frustrated that newborns skip a whole stage and turn into children. Just yesterday while playing the Sims 3, I got a little sad when my toddler grew to be a child. What made me even more sad was when she died- her birthday cake caught on fire all of a sudden. D: I am looking forward to the Sims 4 adjustments. It seems easier and harder at the same time. Mostly easy, with one click you make your simmie have abs. Aside from the toddler problems, Sims 4 doesn't seem that bad. I'm a little excited, I guess.. (*)

I am so disappointed in this game that at this point everything I like about it has taken a backseat! I am sitting here and I cant think of anything good to put down. I feel like I just spent $70 on the sims 1 again. If it was possible to return this game I would. That is how bad it is. I have been playing for 14 years and this game is bad enough that I am ready to pack it all in and say I am done.

Something I loved and forgot to say was the addition of the S3 Seasons song to the S4 radio. Love it. Can't express how much. Thank you so much for adding that. I also miss KP's "Last Saturday Night" from the SweetTreats or Showtime. Everytime I had a party or went to a festival at the park, I would try to get it to come on. Loved some of the music from Showtime, but that song was a standout for S3; just loved it.

Assigning beds would be nice. Love the CAS, Build/Buy, roof placing, ect. and pools. I haven't figured out how to use that triangle though.

    Hi Folks

Still really loving the game, I have logged nearly 200 hours so far. But there is one thing which is driving me a little nuts. I think you've set the break rate on objects a little high. I don't think it's a bug, it seems to be by design. I understand why you've done this, the idea is to get people experience with repairs. But it happens at least once every sim-day, sometimes two or three objects break in one day. In most households in real life, things do not break quite that frequently. And even if it did, the idea with Sims is to get away from that kind of busywork. ;-)

Oh and an equivalent of Homecrafter/Bodyshop which didn't require mods would be fabulous. Most of us just want to be able to make our worlds the way we see it, and eventually relying on your wallpapers and colour choices is a little limiting.

That aside, still really happy, love the pools and the ghosts were very well done. I love this version of the game almost as much as TS2, and I suspect it will have more potential in the long-run.

    Cheers

    Kathleen

    Things I like:

    -Multitasking
    -Gourmet cooking skill
    -CAS clothing choices for kids
    -CAS body mod abilities
    -Part-time jobs for teens
-Other sims are actually on lots when you go there
-The different friendship and romance measuring bars
    -Build tools are amazing!
    -Many options for working out

    Things I don't like:

-Teens being the same height as adults (PLEASE fix that)
-No family tree (It's extremely difficult to tell who's related/married to whom!)
-Having to unlock items (Just not my thing)
-Too few CAS choices (colors, clothing, and hairstyles)
-Not much to do around town (My sims end up staying home most of the time.)
-Not being able to meet other sims at work or school
-For some reason, sims will say that they are single even if they just started dating one of my sims.
-Too time-consuming to get job promotions without cheats
-No option to change my sims' names when they get married
    -Too few traits
    -Too few jobs!
    -No city hall
-Loading screens to visit lots in the same neighborhood
    -Limited household items
    -Neighborhoods are REALLY small
-Random sims jump into conversations (Makes things awkward and weird on dates)

I am very excited to play this game. I played the create a Sim demo and mostly enjoyed it. However, I find it frustrating that the creators can manage to add all this cool stuff but still can't make it so we can change the sims height.

After logging quite a few hours into this game I just have a few things to say:

    Things I love:
    The graphics and the lighting
You can sell artwork and novels, etc besides solely relying on a career for income
    CAS
    Build mode

    Dislikes:
The neighborhood. I absolutely loved TS3's way of making it seem alive. You could see your other Sims coming and going and hear music from their house. It felt like a living breathing world. Now, when I'm playing one household I feel like those around me aren't there, just empty houses.
    Family relationships
    Lack of "normal" jobs

    Things I love about TS4:
    -The graphics
    -The emotions
    -CAS
    -Build mode
-Many options of showering and working out
-Gourmet Cooking Skill and tons of yummy new recipes
    -Multitasking
    -Cowplant
    -More challenging bills
-The interactions you can have with stuffed animals
-The writing career (lots of different genres and being able to self-publish your book)
-The hidden lots (I haven't gone to them yet but they sound awesome)
-So many ways of death yet it's not super easy to kill your sims
    -Ghosts
    -Pools

Things I believe should be added to TS4:
-Surrogates and donors. My gay Sims would love to have an option of having half biological children. Also, why do you have to pay to adopt in TS4?
-The neighborhoods are really small. There should be a hospital, movie theatre, grocery store, restaurants/café, city hall etc. like in TS3.
-The current careers I do enjoy but I hope for more "normal" careers I suppose such as a medical branch, athletic branch, or television and movie branch. I also know there's going to be new careers next month, and I'm excited to see what careers are added.
-Create a Style like in TS3 in order for players to show their creativity.
-Although I can live without toddlers and wouldn't stop playing TS4 due to them missing, I feel like they are a great life stage in the game and they should return. And it would defiantly make a lot of simmers happy. I have to say I do miss teaching my toddler to walk, talk, and potty or a stroll through the neighborhood.
-Open Worlds were a pretty great experience in The Sims and I was sad to see it go. In my opinion, there should at least be no loading screens when visiting lots in the same neighborhood.
-New traits and be allowed for sims to have more than three traits (four if you count the automatic one)
-Be able to make friends at work and school
-Teens should not be as tall as adults
-Option to change sims' names when married
-I know pets are always added in an expansion pack, but I wish they could be in the base game. I love my sims being allowed to adopt pets and being able to interact with them in so many ways, hopefully I won't have to wait too long for an expansion pack for them.
    -Story progression
    -Being able to assign beds
-Are there pools at the gym? I don't think there are... they should be like in TS3.
-Exercising classes at the gym (such as yoga and zumba)

I love the free monthly updates you guys are doing, hopefully this continues after December. Overall, the game is great.
