For all other worlds, there's really no difference. I've also seen that there's no real discount in buying Gold as compared to Standard + venue. Since the venues are sometimes on the DD, you're better off getting Standard through MMAO and the venue through the DD, if it's available. And then you just need to ignore the gold versions of the world that will continue to taunt you on MMAO.
I've always thought so too until just recently. Gold Aurora Skies is 4307 pts but world and venue separately will be 2426 + 1539 = 3965 pts.
Please do excuse me if I sound so stingy. I'm just running out of points...slowly but surely. Especially since knowing about DD

Oh, I think I got one other world as Gold, because it was offered on MMAO for 60% off when they had their triple MMAO week. (I think it was Lucky Palms.) Otherwise... meh. Better off getting them separately.

I don't look for new games to buy very often, but just a couple of days ago I was browsing for a new RPG game to get and Dragon Age was one of the ones I was looking at. None of us know when the list will start repeating with any certainty. Anytime Vineyard Villa Furnishings comes up, we will all wonder if that is the beginning of the second cycle since that is the first deal. If it is followed by Last Venue of Amore, that is likely the beginning of the repeat. On the previous DD list, the first deal was Provence. The store team teased us, as Provence was repeated about four times.

We have know idea when the rotation (phase 2 as you put it) will start time wise. When we see item one up again followed by number 2 and 3 we know we are in rotation. We are just under 200 deals at the moment and have been told to expect it to go to at least 600 (like the last list did).

I`m trying to complete Le Cirque Nouveau (my CYS is 585) and Le Cirque Celebration! (my CYS is 175) and when I look at the hairs that are coming up on DD, I`m confused about the prices. The male hair is 109 but the female hair is just 50? What was EA thinking when they made the prices?
I really hope for a good discount on the male hair and maybe, there will be another green download button for me

Sweet, I was hoping that, too. While waiting for it to show up on the list, I`ve got some nice MMAO with items from Celebration and I`ve bought them right away.
