You asked me on your thread if I still building - I'm working on finishing a few WIPs before Sims4, although I think, most ppl are not really interested in Sims3, everyone plays with the Demo or with Sims2, or just keep their breath while waiting for Sims4.
I have a finished lot - an Asian inspired bungalow -, which I haven't uploaded yet, because it will be placed in the DNA-world by flstrider - which still a work in progress.
If you're interested and have time - here's the link to the Slideshow, I've already posted about it on my blogger, maybe I will post all the pictures here later too, but you can see, there's not too much traffic on my thread, so probably nobody miss my pictures.
This is another WIP
I also working on a highrise/penthouse build which needs only the landscaping and the entering-area to finish.
I created this for a friend as a Secret Santa-gift - started more than 1,5 years ago along with my Jade and Raina sims - but had not enough time to finish it.
Probably not too many ppl play in high-rise buildings nowadays with the lack of interest with Sims3 lately, so really no reason to spam the messy Exchange with it.
These are the 'public' pictures about it, because my friend - Jess - had already seen these, and I'd like to keep the other parts till I finish everything:
It is great seeing the sims you created using the genetics tool in the demo. They look nice, especially after you have edited them.
Bamboo Valley is a very nice home! Very nice exterior of it! It looks very nice the type of windows that you have used and how you have placed them. Very nice colour shade of the exterior of the house. The trellis covered front and back porch areas look nice. Sims will enjoy relaxing in the hot tub. It looks very nice how you have done the outdoors plants, flowers and trees.
Your high rise penthouse WIP looks so very nice! The colour shades that you have used look very calming, warm,lovely and restful! It looks very nice how you have done the kitchen side wall! Great bar stool counter! Nice colour of the stools and it looks very nice how you have placed the floor rugs underneath each of the stools. Very nice living room! Nice patterned floor rug. Sims will enjoy relaxing on the sofas there,watching tv, with the fireplace nearby to keep the room warm. Very nice shade of colour of the curtains! It looks nice how you have placed plants either side of the fireplace, which are nice restful natural sights for sims to see when sitting there. It looks great how you have placed the dresser under the stairs in the nook area.

I like the genetic tool, and thought to share my experiences with the sims4 one.
I started Bamboo Valley as a very small and simple typical arts and crafts bungalow - but later it turned a bit different.
I used my friend's favourite colour as a theme in the penthouse-build, as also on the sims I created for her.
Dear, your TS4 sims are amazing, especially with the limited items, and the genetic tool is interesting. I'm still making my decision on my purchase, but I'll more than likely get it, but it will be hard to let go.

Fully furnished and decorated bungalow-type home up to 4 sims/small family, who like to live close to the nature.
Size: 30x30
2 bedrooms with own baths, and a half-bath for common use.
Front and back terrace, small barbecue area and hot-tub, still some space to put things you'd like to have around.
Landscaped without a fence to fit into the surrounding, so the pictures were made without any other landscaping in town-editing to show the edges.
Playtested, upgraded - costs about 90.000 Simoleons.
No custom content, no CAP! No Store content!
EPs/SPs were used, probably all of them except Katy Perry, Diesel and Movie.

For fun - here is the inspiration picture what I used when I started to build this bungalow.
I just wanted something small to finish faster than usually, but somehow it turned something different and went far from the original style - LOL - Although there are still some signs which shows similarity.
And actually I started to build it in February... (but of course I was distracted with Guild Wars 2, so I had not worked on it all the time)

Your rooms look absolutely stunning in those soft colors and with the green plants. The master bedroom especially made my jaw drop and make grabbyhands. You get a huge DRF from me on this one. Fantastic work!

Bamboo Valley is a very nice home! I posted in an earlier post about the exterior of the house, and the interior of the home looks very nice! Very nice colour shades that you have used! They are so very calming, restful and natural! Very nice living room area where sims can enjoy relaxing in the seats and watch tv or listen to music from the music player. The plants there look so very nice and add nice touches of green. Your placement of the plants here and throughout the home looks so very stylish and effective! It looks very nice how you have done the floor rug. Very nice kitchen area! Great layout of the build! It looks very nice how you have done the dining area there. The colour and pattern of the kitchen curtains looks nice. The hanging plants and the plants on the counter are nice for sims to see when preparing and eating meals. Very nice window alcove reading and chatting area! Sims will enjoy relaxing on the comfortable armchairs there having a chat together or enjoying reading a book from the book case, with the sunlight coming in through the windows. It looks so nice! The bedrooms are very lovely! Very nice furnishing of them! Very nice patterns that you have used for the beds and the walls. They are very calming and soothing places for sims to enjoy sleeping in, and would provide a nice calm restful place for them to enjoy a nice sleep. It looks so very nice how you have placed the bamboo plants either side of the master bed! It looks very nice how you have placed the plants on the ledge behind the master bed. Nice sitting area for sims to enjoy relaxing on the seats in their bedroom. Your placement of the plants throughout all the areas of the home looks so very nice! Very nice bathrooms! It is a very nice home, inside and outdoors and exterior! :-)

Dear Bree, thank you for the kind words! Creating sims in ts4 seems way easier than in sims3 - where we always have to feel the limit with some parts, but I so very miss the colour/pattern changing.
I sill cannot imagine how I will miss it with build-mode.
