What is up with all the repeat items on the list? why are they doing that instead of putting some new items on the list. I would rather see a short list of items with no repeated items on there than an absurdly long list with repeats of multiple items on it.

Well, here's hoping this one won't be that long! I didn't even know there was a list or thread till recently, and it's been amazingly helpful! (Thanks, Kgaff!) I hadn't really thought about checking compilations before, when I had part of one, and using the CYS discounts in conjunction. Now, I have ended up with some things free, and one set ridiculously cheap, thanks to that little tip. The May 2011 ended up free, since I had all but the clothing. Nice getting that free, though! Some really cute dresses in there.
Only issue now is losing sleep because I get up to check and see if anything good is coming, when I should be sleeping!
They want to give everyone a chance to get these items and get at much money out of us all as possible.

Plus it also allows me to save up simpoints from the ads that I catch several times a day and everyday if I'm lucky enough...

I just purchased the Lucky Simolean Casino but hit the button twice. So now I am playing the waiting game to get CS on so I can see about getting a refund for the second purchase.
The casino was a total impulse buy for me, then I came over here to lurk to see what others were thinking of the deal... I have to thank those that gave the heads up on the Up The Ante compilation, again another set I never planned on purchasing, but if I can get it for free!!! Thank you for that help and thank you again to all the wonderful people that keep this thread going! You have helped me and several of my friends score some amazing deals!
Great deal if they let you buy it. Clicked buy over and over for the Casino right from the start and it wouldn't accept.
When I clicked the buy button, there was about a 20-30 second delay in getting the confirmation pop-up. However, pop-up did eventually appear, so I got the casino.
This happens frequently with fast-moving items, where there's a long delay before the confirmation pop-up appears. My theory is that if you hit the button several times because the confirmation isn't showing up, then it restarts the purchase process every time, transferring the data from scratch again, meaning a longer delay. I only ever hit the buy button once, and the sale has always gone through even if it takes 10+ seconds to register. If I'm especially paranoid and really want to hit the button again, I do it in a new window so as not to disrupt the first window where the pop-up might appear at any moment.
Like I said, this is just a theory. But it might be worth trying if the same thing happens again.
Hey all! Back from vacation! I did follow this thread while I was gone, but couldn't do much commenting. Isn't this list pretty darn awesome? There are some things I'd still love to see come up, mostly a few sets and venues, and while they're in this 50 - 80% off mood, worlds.
I know I've probably been ninja'd on these since I started writing this post a while ago, but duplicates never hurt anything :-) .
