Seeing the thing about ketchup making got me excited as to what stuff we can do with the canning,cant wait to see peoples lists of preserves and jams.I am currently going to upload a few lots off my old launcher I love like my bowling alley and fix on the regency arcade etc then redownloading the store over again so going to live through you guys till I am done.

Jams are different colors based on the food used. My sim here is putting peach jam on a scone and there is another flavor on the counter to compare with. Can put the jam on scones or toast.

Edit: Its a pretty table but unfortunately may hinder making the set look too different like a as a Japanese tea set as some suggested.
I'll switch to my fairy household and see if they can make jam with flame fruit.
