I liked the animation of the guy getting into the car, it looked really smooth! I like the lights on the buildings too.

Oh, SimSupply has a good trailer breakdown here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkqtTsV1LAM&feature=c4-overview&list=UU65SbK7DTllBxF7Uzinkgdg

I think it's fantastic! I wasn't craving the car but I think it's pretty cool and I'm glad that those who did really miss it are going to get it. And the rollercoasters are just awesome.
It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.

The animations are really smooth. And the new venue looks great - so much going on, and it looks like there's space that we can use to add other PC content as well.

I plan to add some games, like the two games from SN, and possibly some arcade machines. And pinball machines if they're not included.

If the venue is on 64x64 I'll have to rebuild it, which is going to be a fun challenge. My biggest free lot is 60x60 in my current world...

So what does everyone think of seeing the Classically Cool Car and Roller Coaster in action?

I think it is everything I was hoping it would be. And the 12th can't come fast enough, for me. I want to "unwrap" my early Christmas present. NOW. LOL :D

In the meantime, I'm redecorating an art deco highrise. And waiting ... as patiently as possible.

I do have one small request: Please make the LB available on uTube, asap. I can't watch it until late, late in the evening (because my broadwidth is teetering on empty, so I need to watch the LB during the free hours). Which means if the LB isn't on uTube the first night, I'll have to wait until the second night to see it. And by then, it is too late. Thankfully, my broadband limitations will reset just before RH is released, so I will be able to download, at the time of release. Whew. That was close.

Love the car, and the gorgeous vintage clothes. Would have been nice to see some kids or teens as well as all those adults, though. Hoping there's new stuff for the kids to do in RH too.

The rollercoaster in motion , anyways . This world is very beautiful everything is so detail to the era, can't wait to get my hands on this. I'll be playing in this world for a while.

I agree. Much of the info on Roaring Heights has been released really late, in the middle of the night for us UK simmers. I'd appreciate it if the LB was at the usual time.

Everything in the world/venue looks fantastic. The car is great and the roller coaster will probably be my all time favorite Sims 3 content item. The bar has been set very high for Roaring Heights; I'm not sure what the Store team can do for an encore... a future set with a ferris wheel, carnival games and a prize booth would be nice though

Thanks for the trailer link and LB date!

That trailer was really SNAZZY. I love it--all the sims in their vintage eleganza and the gorgeous buildings and lights...I wish that music played during Live Mode.

About the coaster: The roller coaster has me super excited--so many possibilities; I'm glad EA made so many pieces. It looks like we're getting obstacle courses and such -- can sims CRASH? What was going on with the coaster car flying up into the air?

About the car: It was a toss up for me between the car and the coaster, but I think I'd get more use out of the coaster, as the car seems to be only THAT car that can be fixed. I'd love to fix up ALL my cars. And it looks so much like the car from SN that I'm honestly a bit Meh about it at the moment, though the high quality detail on the car/sim interaction animations is something we've been wanting back since TS2, which is bittersweet, seeing how we're getting that back at the end of TS3.:cry::lol: (sorry--I choke up every time I think about it!)

But I just want a Ford Model T~! :XD: Or any kind of motorwagen, really.

I really just want to immerse myself in all the build/buy CC.

I hope we see some cool choices for Kids/Elders this time around; children were very important back then -- who do you think made all those loafers?

The world as a whole looks pretty, as EA's worlds always do for the most part. But it's very reminiscent of ST or even SV, and I already know I'd be in World Editor all the time replacing the palm trees so I can pretend it's NYC or Chicago. I'd have RH set to constant Winter, too -- YES.

OMG, I wonder if there'll be any new worlds since Smitty's gone? :( And who's gonna do the LB -- Sparkle? Have we seen Sparkle before?

    Wow!!! That roller coaster!!

The world looks nice but the roller coaster (therefore the venue) is the most exciting for me. I want to make a pleasure/carnival world, with rollercoaster, arcade, casino, parks, festival stuff, circus stuff etc, and just have this amazing fun themed adventure! A place to combine all the fun quirky stuff that I don't as often get to use in a more standard game!

question for simgurucopeland...is the animation for getting in and out of the fixer upper just for that car or will all our sims be able to enter and exit any car they own or will they still teleport in and out of cars except the fixer upper

I am just about delirious I am so excited for this world and venue - hurry up 12/12!!!

    *throws money at screen*

*edit: With the popularity of Roaring Heights, a smart marketer would be listing all of the deco-era sets (Jazz Age, Gentlemen's Lounge, Glitter and Glam, Divo and Diva) to compound on the excitement of the pre-release.

I saw an earlier Twitter response that it's only on that particular car -- but if the programming is in there for car interactions, I wonder if we might get additional cars with similar interactions? Or if some enterprising CC artists could use that coding in their cars? I kind of like the look of the car -- seems far more amenable to my rich Sims' lifestyles. I loved the animation of the top going up and the windows steaming. 8)

Roller coaster looks awesome -- I want to add that lot to all my worlds if I have appropriate sized lots available. I'd even stick one at University so the students have more to do on the weekends. If I can squeeze in the appropriate items I'd turn it into a festival lot in some of my worlds; I could see it replacing that center cement lot in Hidden Springs.

People have been putting the Twitter info in this thread and I saw it here as I don't use Twitter either.

And I agree, the roller coaster and RH looks awesome. RH reminds me of the Queensland Gold Coast. Extremely compressed though. The Gold Coast has highrises for kilometers all along the beaches and with canals and bridges everywhere.

Love the roller coaster! I can't wait for 12-12!

Ok, now I need a Ferris wheel, carousel (no more faux carousels please!) and some carnival games with prizes! K? Thanks gurus!!
