question for simgurucopeland...is the animation for getting in and out of the fixer upper just for that car or will all our sims be able to enter and exit any car they own or will they still teleport in and out of cars except the fixer upper

I saw an earlier Twitter response that it's only on that particular car -- but if the programming is in there for car interactions, I wonder if we might get additional cars with similar interactions? Or if some enterprising CC artists could use that coding in their cars? I kind of like the look of the car -- seems far more amenable to my rich Sims' lifestyles. I loved the animation of the top going up and the windows steaming. 8)

Roller coaster looks awesome -- I want to add that lot to all my worlds if I have appropriate sized lots available. I'd even stick one at University so the students have more to do on the weekends. If I can squeeze in the appropriate items I'd turn it into a festival lot in some of my worlds; I could see it replacing that center cement lot in Hidden Springs.

Correct. Those interactions are only for this car (honestly, I don't think the other cars have hinge-able doors.)

A few people mentioned that a lot of the stuff has been posted really late. That's entirely my fault. I make all sorts of promises to SimGuruTatertot (and you fine folks) about what I'll post but most of my day I'm working with the talented team here on the next big thing. That means I don't get to post stuff till late in the evening, after family time.

I'm incredibly humbled by the enthusiasm this world and venue have generated. Nearly 100 pages! How amazing is that? I don't think we've ever had that long of a thread for a world and certainly not a week before the release! You folks rock. You truly do. Put it in for virtual fist bumps all around.

I'm all in on anything for our boardwalks!

I am just about delirious I am so excited for this world and venue - hurry up 12/12!!!

    *throws money at screen*

*edit: With the popularity of Roaring Heights, a smart marketer would be listing all of the deco-era sets (Jazz Age, Gentlemen's Lounge, Glitter and Glam, Divo and Diva) to compound on the excitement of the pre-release.

Hope we see the deco-era sets on the sales page next week. I need to get the items I don't have to go with Roaring Heights.

Oh goody I'm glad I'm not the only who feels that way! He is my hero! :D And btw, after watching the trailer which Cinderellimouse posted on the first page, I also checked out a video by SimVIP for the Grim Reaper's venue.

AWESOME!!!! Among many other cool things, that door gets rid of zombies and paparazzi. :D:D:D And it also has a fence which is tres la la Art Deco :D

Anyway, extremely excited about Roaring Heights, it might be the best world yet!!

Ha, ha. Yes, exactly. Good catch, Nik.

Plus, David noted this over at SimsVIP:

"Has anyone else noticed the handprint on the glass of the car when sims woohoo in it. I don’t know for sure but it might be a reference to the titanic when rose and jack *cough* woohoo in the car on the ship. But maybe I overthought it."

    Then, SimGuruCopeland said:

"I was wondering how many people would get that reference."

Cool beans, huh? I wonder how many other allusions, references and tributes we'll find in this new world? We have some clever gurus.

    EDIT:

    Here it is:

SimGuruCopeland, thank you for telling us about your family time. Sometimes we are such enthusiastic fans, we forget that you gurus are human beings and you have many commitments, including family.

To be honest, for me, family comes first, and the time to create memories together can go by so quickly... I'm happy to know that you put your family ahead of this game, your work. It makes me an even bigger fan of yours, because it shows a bit of your good character.

You are very caring to us fans and your family. Thank you for being there for us when you can.

And on a final note, we're now at a 100 pages and I am still uber-excited anticipating this aweSIM world! Thank you to the whole Store team for creating it for us! I don't know how you are ever going to top it, because it will be my favorite world ever, but I look forward to seeing you try! :)

Can't wait for December 12th! Aaahhhhhhhhh! 8)

I just watched the trailer breakdown by SimSupply that Cinderelli provided the link for on page 98.

I never saw one before and it's almost as good as a slow-motion version. I liked his commentary.

I like nightclubs in my worlds, so I thought it looked so cool to see the pre-existing club in RH. It's 5 floors high and the exterior looks awesome with colorful lights!

I can't wait to see all the community lots in this world, as well as the highrises! It's exciting to me that the Store team gave us some new highrise shells to work with!

I can never play in Bridgeport, because the world lags for me so much. I hope that RH is my dream come true, because I love it being a city on the water. It's just so beautiful!

The roller coaster looks great in the trailer, especially when it jumped over the shark!

I'm glad we have an LB next week, it will tide me over until I have time to play in the world which will possibly be next weekend, this along with the pics and little pieces of information coming through help somewhat! :D
