Hi Pallypoo your 'Royal Street Living' is a stunning home with so many wonderful rooms, I love purple as I am Arty I love Pamela's room the best and all the art around the home. I did some of the local art too, I recognise the bright paintings. Rec'd the home and lovely couple, his hat really suits him :-) very Jazz.

Hey Thanks sticks, I tried to make it light and airy and not use many patterns (EA ones) as I have problems uploading if its over 5 or 6 mb, but I was lucky this morning as its early here :-)
Hi Sandraelle and thanks for your lovely comments I have just been reading them Yes this is a fantastic set of contests by Seascape and I hope she will keep hosting them, we are all learning so much by research and from each other as usual.

I am sooo glad I sat this one out. Fun to relax on the sidelines seeing what all these talented simmers came up with. Very creative and impressive builds and families.
@ Walking Stick ANOTHER Gorgeous Build! So glad your computer decided to "play nice".
@ KOman the exterior of your "The Cotton Mill Condos" looks amazingly real. When I looked at the pics in your entry at first I thought they were pics of your inspiration, a real apartment building. WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THOUGH... IT SHOWS UP AS "LOT NAME" in game, with no description. Earlier in this thread there are detailed instructions on how to get your build to show up in game with your title and details instead of "lot name".
@ Lucky Heather: Guessing you have RL experience in working in a darkroom. Really liked the red light, lightbox made out of a med cabnet and the art hanging on the clothesline. Also enjoyed the pics on the wall of the first floor hallway, and the nook with the statue on the 2nd floor.
@ Pallypoo: Super art studio and love that you used real pics of New Orleans. Eric did an amazing job taking pics Interesting contents in their backpacks. LOL 17 yo PURPLE EGGPLANT NECTAR!
@ snowdove58: Fantastic kitchen. All my sims love the grill and pizza oven. Inspired to recolor the pizza oven to go with the Japenese stuff. I really really like the rug in the green bedroom and the art by Pam and Eric! Pam looks great in the orange dress pic. Love all the fun paintings esp the ones of the town (the pics are of MV right?) Oh great recolors of the giraffe and that white plactic bistro table that you redid in wicker INSPIRED.
@ Sharonxyz: OMG you have outdone yourself. So Colorful and FUN! My favorite build AND household of yours yet.
@ romagi1: The light teal bedroom looks so sophisticated. Amazing recolors... you made coastal blooms look GREAT, the SN lamp (in the br) very nice, the floral jug and the curtians behind them in the hallway wow. Enjoyed the studio with such a lovely balcony Mermaid lounge chairs.
HappySimmer3: Your landscaping and courtyard are so inviting! The colors inside are lovely esp liked the serene green in the living room. Very nice!
Hello all you amazing people! I have finally gotten caught up on all the rec's. You guys have all done a fantastic job. This is going to be so much fun judging. I can't wait to get started. I'm still waiting to see Sandraelle's and Miss GreenCats. I can't wait until the 22nd. Sorry my inspirational pics have dwindled, but you all seem to have been suficiently inspired.
Thanks oiswise and I have never been in a darkroom I just looked up darkroom suppliers and had some ideas from them, thats the beauty of the internet you can find anything just about. I am glad you like the pictures and the statue nook..I will have to remember that word

Hi Ivanna420 and thanks for my Rec I too cant wait to see the other's homes too.

Er, yes, ahem, it's, er, coming   ....decorating takes me FOREVER.
Please don't fret about the inspirational pictures slowing down. What you've given us is absolutely wonderful, and more than enough *hugs*
Just looked at all the entries so far! They are all gorgeous. I love seeing how each person has been influenced by NOLA in his/her own way. These homes really make me want to revamp Twinbrook or Riverview with these builds! Off to rec!
I will hopefully have an entry for you too. It has taken a really long time to build but I'm 90% done so hopefully will be with you by the deadline.
Loving the entries so far, it's a reminder of just how beautiful and varied the architecture is. I will definitely download some houses.
The only problem for me with the rebuild idea JustLiz87 is with each house having a 500k budget my computer will probably have a long loading time lol :-)
