All of this is happening in my oldest save--lo and behold, Felicia showed up. Felicia is aka "the prototype", as she was the very first sim I ever created. Don't let the smile fool ya, this girl is MEAN...
She does have that 'look' about her. That smile is rather insincere.
Jim Peabody isn't the only business owner in this save, because the Goths own a headstone company. But there's just one problem; they're used headstones, complete with inscriptions. I don't want to know who would buy those, and I definitely don't want to know how they got them...
ROFL Oh, That's just wrong, on so many different levels. I suppose that's one way to thwart that eager Genealogist looking for their ancestors . . .
I took today off from work (wasn't feeling well earlier) so I decided to do some building. This is my latest weird outdoor nightclub--it's in San Sequoia, and for some reason I made it 3 levels. And it's a thunderstorm outside right now; this is why most of my clubs are outdoors, for the danger element
Still in San Sequioa, I felt like they needed a new library; this one fits all of the game requirements for one. And of course I sent the Calientes up there in a thunderstorm to check it out
@simgirl1010 , LOL , you sure have had your share of ranch hands

@GalacticGal I believe death by piranha is a thing. You can place The Luminary's Exotic Water Garden from build/buy and fill it with fish of your choice. Including piranhas or sharks.
Global Superstar, Rock Star, Erik Cantrell, after he won his 49th Best Song in a row, giving tribute to one of the Great Ones, Lourna Doone, who passed away just three days, prior. Yes, he's dressed up because it's the Starlight Accolades, after all.

Thank you for the answer, but no thank you. I'd rather not have fish of any kind in the ponds.
Michael needed another room on his cottage. I decided to do it in stages and pretend he was actually building it. No cc or poses. Just a lot of messing around in build mode.
Not done yet. But this is as far as he got in my last game session.
@mightysprite Thanks! I've often done additions to my sims' home lots in stages over many days or even weeks to pretend that the additions were being built, but this is the first time I've had the sim themself actually be seen doing the work. I actually got the idea from another simlit writer (I tried to find the chapter again, but couldn't, but I'm pretty sure it was in @MonaSolstraale 's "Tusnelda and Trix" story). There was a part where some characters were getting an addition put on their house, and we actually saw some of the work in progress with support pillars and stuff, and I was like "Hey! That would be a fun way to play!" because I like playing with lots of detail about my sims lives. That's the main reason I play with aging off, so I have time to do stuff like this.
It suits Michael really well to build his own additions like this because he has the "maker" trait from Eco Lifestyle and he also likes handiness, so he gets two happy moodlets from working at the woodworking bench.
Anyway, here's a few more update pictures as he continues work on it.
(Don't ask how he made the doorway magically appear in a stone wall. He's also a spellcaster. Like magicians, they don't tell their secrets).
All the walls are done now. Just in time because the forecast is saying thunderstorms for the next day. He's going to finish the interior though to make it a nicer room.
Right. Sorry Piranhas in cartoons often looks like that, and it was first came to my mind.

@GlacierSnow Now, that's the way to do it! (Loved the pictures.) My Dad often would do stuff around the house, himself. He created the first breakfast bar we ever had in their first house. When we moved, he added one, too, but made it with a Formica surface. Yeah, the man even built a small outboard boat in our driveway. I love a Handy Man. LOL
@Ellupelluellu Sorry, didn't mean to sound like a know-it-all. I just happened to notice that the fish in your screenshot had a little angler lure coming off its head and I looked up "anglerfish" because I couldn't remember what they looked like. And... that fish looks exactly like one. Had to then go and look up pirahnas too, because I can't not do that once I'm curious. They look totally different. But I think you're right. Lots of cartoon piranhas don't really look much like real piranhas. I think we want their mouths to look scarier, and they end up looking like anglerfish.
@GalacticGal My dad, and both my grandfathers were all just like that. So much stuff in the house I grew up in was built by them.
@GlacierSnow Very nice!
I like how cluttered and homey the workshop feels, already
I think I remember @DaniRose2143 doing a series of posts with Danielle and Londyn's new home "under construction"-- sounds a bit different than what you are trying to think of though, perhaps indeed it was Tusnelda and Trix
@GlacierSnow , hehe, no sorries My knowledge on piranhas come straight from Donald Duck - magazine

@Ellupelluellu I bow to the Donald Duck authority, then.
@mightysprite Thanks! I deliberately kept his starter home super small so I could go all out on the decorating on a starter budget. I love the way the Crystal pack stuff goes with stuff from Realm of Magic, Cottage Living, and Werewolves.

Helping herself to leftovers.
Julianna caught her kicking over the trashcan. I'd been discovering piles of trash all over the house and couldn't figure it out.

Guess I won't allow my Sims to go swimming there. Does the game have death by piranhas?

That looks like an anglerfish, not a piranha.
