As you may recall, I was gifted recently by my sweet hubby, a gaming laptop. I always play with the sound on, because I have found without it, I have a peculiar lack of connection to what's going on in the game. I do have to say, however, when the fans turns on during gameplay, (something I had never experienced prior. all previous gaming rigs being desk top units) I mistook it for rain! I was so confused for a minute. LOL It wasn't raining in my game.
It's been awhile since I checked in with Maddy Kanine and her 5 colorful dogs. I sent all of them to my outdoor club in Del Sol, and it's only a matter of time before Maddy's angry dogs start attacking people. I don't see Green Dog, but he's around somewhere
All of this is happening in my oldest save--lo and behold, Felicia showed up. Felicia is aka "the prototype", as she was the very first sim I ever created. Don't let the smile fool ya, this girl is MEAN...
And now Jim Peabody shows up; he's the owner of The Big Dump in Newcrest, a store dedicated to selling toilets. I forgot about some of the interesting characters I created in this save, maybe I should play it more often
And another one of my sims shows up, Vivian Lewis. She looks happy today, but I wonder where her husband Walking Jack is? Actually, I'll check up on him next; Jack is never where I left him, he's always out walking the streets
I then sent him to my outdoor nightclub in Newcrest, in the middle of a blizzard. Look closely at the floor where the last barstool on the right is; someone was sitting there one summer evening when they were blasted by lightning
Jim Peabody isn't the only business owner in this save, because the Goths own a headstone company. But there's just one problem; they're used headstones, complete with inscriptions. I don't want to know who would buy those, and I definitely don't want to know how they got them...

Nowadays, I find myself muting the gawd-awful music in Build/Buy mode. Particularly when I'm building. It's disruptive to my flow, if you will.

I turn off the music and the build buy music in settings but aside from that I love playing and hearing the game.
