Well, not all of our players are over 18, so maybe it's not a romance pack... maybe it's a MUSIC pack?
I am keeping all my fingers crossed that it is something other than Las Vegas.
We already have areas that feel like the American desert and there is so much more of the planet to see and visit. I would be disappointed to be honest.

They have to be careful about adding casinos as it's an addictive place where a lot of people loose money but can't stop themselves from playing so they get into dept, it's not a great thing to promote as they target this at teens. Casinos and vegas are not romantic places either.
I do like the Ikea of French/Italy inspired world though and taking romantic boat rids etc we have no world like this at the moment, I have been to both places in real life so I would love this. I appreciate them making English countryside and English style pubs/Tudor houses in windenburg to add realism so next would be great to see other places in Europe especially italy/france!
Yeah, I don’t think they’d do a casino-related pack after the whole loot box fiasco. That probably wouldn’t interest me anyway, unless I wanted to recreate a certain Friends episode. XD
Since they’re focusing on inclusivity, I can see them overhauling how weddings work and adding a bunch of different traditions you can choose from, both real and Sims-specific. And speaking of overhauls, I hope the pre-pack update lets your Sims actually schedule dates, now that we have a calendar in the base game.
I have had a theory that we are going to get a France inspired world with a romance-travel pack, because a stereotype about France and Paris is it being a romantic place. And the new weird promotion image seems to hint toward that as well, which is interesting given all the other hints about travel associated.

Romantic casino and hotel pack, please and thank you? Eloping is so often tied to casinos, sooo... it just makes sense.
I'd prefer a non-Vegas styled casino, though, because as much as I love the hot/desert-themed locations we have so far, I'd prefer something different. Bit I am not going to argue on that.

Get Famous was great for entertainment, but apart from the Fame mechanic that got added to EVERYTHING, it was more about Hollywood and acting. We already had singing and music careers at the time, but singing and music still aren't active careers. Busking doesn't really count.

Maybe they could expand on the musician and entertainment career if they add a Las Vegas pack. So our sims could go and actually have paid gigs in places like bars, lounges, restaurants, or casinos etc. I tried to play an entertainer who does gigs in her spare times at the lounge but few sims show up and she won't get rich on the tips anytime soon. Would be nice if they could get jobs there and have sims sit on their chairs and listen without paying tips, it's annoying when they get up from their table just to pay tips to the singer or entertainer.
It's annoying that Sims will wander all over the stage while you're trying to perform.
If you use the platform tool and either have a back door that is locked or simply teleport the singer onto stage, the audience will still cheer from the main floor but not enter stage I think the platform needs to be minimum 2 clicks high.

I don't want casinos so my sims can get rich quick. I want my sims to be able to have a variety of vices and be able to make terrible decisions, sometimes.
In regard to romance, casinos, at least the Vegas variety, are famous for bad choices and impromptu Elvis-themed tacky weddings. It's close enough to romance that I could see it happen. But then, I want a casino pack, so I will see whatever I need to see in hopes that I get my way. Even if, as I like to say, my sims wants/guesses are always wrong.

I haven't played it in years but I think The Urbz (EA Sims game from 2004) was rated Teen, and that had a lot of gambling in it. You never got rich from it, and could be caught by the police for gambling in public.
Personally I think it wouldn't be particularly appropriate for the game to clearly dictate to us either way whether or not certain activities (like gambling, for one) should be considered "bad" or "good." If things turn a bit preachy in any game, I'm out.

just give me the freaking romance ep full of romantic gameplay and wedding things and such
then they can do whatever they want with other packs like yeah id love music gambling occult dragons generations cultural stuff new worlds and whatever and sure inject romantic interaction or 2 in those but not if its in the way of my romance pack dang it.

Hotels are very basic things, you sleep and have breakfast in them. They would have to add a lot more gameplay to a game pack than hotels.

I very much agree on not wanting to have Romance mixed up with another theme.
Concerning the Mandala: To me personally it just seems an assortion of stuff we previously got added for free. The bottle could stand for the liveeditmode cheat we got a good while ago. Not sure about the yellow window flowers, but the rest are alle freebies.
Actually I think this has purely been designed to show that we will be getting some more freebies this fall (along with the 4 kits). We already got hair, clothing and a lot of buy and build mode recolors, so we might not even get a lot more before December comes.

I can see there being enough in a Romance Pack for a Game Pack (with CAS/BB and maybe a 5 lot world), but not an expansion pack. I mean, I could be wrong, but I just don't see romance systems, no matter how robust, as being a "big" enough thing to warrant it's own expansion pack based on what's been included in packs to date. I think it's too narrow a theme for an expansion pack, when compared to the existing game and expansion packs for Sims 4. I do think that even with Moschino and Paranormal Stuff as examples, it's too big for a Stuff pack, but big enough for an Expansion pack? I'm doubtful.
Yes, I have my prejudices here as a pack focused just on Romance has basically no appeal to me at all, though unlike some ideas that don't appeal, I don't think a romance pack would actively impede or otherwise disrupt my current gameplay. I'd just be more interested if it had something else as well ... and getting that something else is more likely with an Expansion pack than a game pack.
But then again, if it does come in an expansion pack, I can always wait for a sale.
Romance is definitely needed but is it only me who thinks that this is a weird time to release a romantic pack let alone it being an expansion but if it is an expansion maybe they will add Hotels which could make it an expansion… also what about if they patch in cars with this pack let’s remember cars came with nightlife expansion
