    They need to add Chinese new year as a celebration in the calendar. And Diwali.

    Even though they added some pre-made holidays it’s actually up to us to add them. If the ones that shipped with Seasons don’t work for you you can delete them and then add ones that do and all of that will remain for the life of your save, and they already gave us free Chinese New & Diwali stuff in an update.

    As for your road map, I’m hoping we get generations within this quarter and not have to wait until next year. I also think bands if added will be a game pack that ties in with Get Famous and the celebrity system rather than a full EP. If we get them at all that is. I don’t want horses myself, I don’t even play with the cats & dogs because they’re too needy. But I know other do want them.

    Some if it seems like we already have it? Like Paranormal and Super Natural seem like the same thing to me. I hope we don’t get kits centered on deep fryers, water heaters, and wood chopping (is that sarcasm?). I do very much hope we get hotels, the rental properties are nice, but it’s not the same. Some of the rest of it I would like too, and some of it not so much.

    @Pamtastic72

    EA sells dust for $5, so why not wood or grass or swimming pool dirty water? Also, Kits are the equivalent of TS3 Store, so I'm expecting anything both decorative and functional and we'll receive a lot. Maybe telescopes, pool tables and other stuffs will arrive with a kit instead a pack-like DLC.

    Also remember there's SP that introduced only 1 whole new functional element for $10:

    -Luxury Party the chocolate fountain
    -Vintage Glamour the globe bar
    -Movie hangout the popcorn maker
    -Cool Kitchen the ice cream maker

    So I don't think $5 for a deep fryer or a pizza oven plus CAS or clutter it's bad at all. Also, with Bust The Dust, EA can release kits based in household chores like lawn mowing, swimming pool cleaning or wood chopping.

    Supernatural can introduce werewolves, zombies and fairies, Paranormal was more a ghost hunting SP.

    It feels a little too good to be true, the free updates are a bit ambitious, like playable pets and world editor. And I don't think they will release so many packs and kits every year but apart from that it's a nice roadmap.

    @logion even 6 kits per years can be a low ammount, considering EA will release at least 1 kit each 2 months, it can be more like 1 kit per month considering decoration, CAS and story elements, but we sure receive 2 EP, 1 GP and 2 SP and at least 6 kits per year.

    There's mods to play with pets, a world editor maybe needs a more powerful tool than a update yes. Even mods created a open world mod that Lilsimse covered months ago.

    What speaks against a world tool or editing the lot sizes are often is the risk of breaking old saves, when they updated all worlds for eco lifestyle they broke a lot of old saves and had to spend a lot of time making it work. So it's very much a risk vs reward case here... Pets are exclusive to Cats & Dogs so I don't think they would go back and add that functionality.

    I am skeptical about how many kits they will do in a year. The cynical part of me thinks that they will make less stuff packs or game packs to have time to make kits...

    @Holiday

    Well, if EA is intrested, I can write and send all my ideas for the right price, with a 2 to 3 years roadmap including kits and free updates

    They don't waste too much time on those kits, as they are not cohesive like a pack, just random unrelated themes. They probably already have most of the concept artwork done from previous packs. There are modders who do create as a hobby and are able to release monthly packs of similar quality and number of items.

    I’m looking forward to farming and generations. I would love to get a sewing machine with patterns and a color wheel, and of course farm animals. Oh, and hotels and casino’s.

    What do you think?

    Farming, horses, medieval, playable pets, Egypt would be my favourite...

    I'd buy the wood chopping kit too!

    In general, "Many" could mean more than 10 and "Many many" could be more than 20.
    3 years is a smaller scale like many many months (36 months).

    The current path

    EP : 2 -> 1 -> 1 -> 2 -> 2 -> 2 -> 2? (2021)
    GP : 2 -> 1 -> 2 -> 1 -> 2 -> 1 -> 2?

    SP : 4 -> 5 -> 3 -> 2 -> 1 -> 2 -> 2?

    About kits, they won't release them every month, probably one for each gap (Spring and Falls).

    Does a kid say "many many candies" when there are only 3 in one hand ?

    In general, "Many" could mean more than 10 and "Many many" could be more than 20

    I'll be fine with 3 years actually

    They're on a 3-year rolling plan. Even the Gurus don't know what's gonna happen after 3 years.

    On the other hand, because they are on a 3-year rolling plan, they would know for sure if the game is ending in a year or two. There is no way they'd say "many years" if they know for a fact the game is ending in a year or two.

    To me, this pretty much confirms the game will continue till at least 2024. What happens after 2024 is anybody's guess.

    "many many years" of content, It could also mean "it will take a long time to release content".

    When you see the Laundry List, they should slower the development in order to give more time to the QA team.

    They just updated skin tones. That must have been a pretty big effort for just an additional 2 years. If they start updating hairs in a similar way or furniture we could probably look at another 5-7 years more.

    5-7 years? That's impossible...the game is going to run even worse than TS3 when it's done.

    If they upgrade and optimize the code, it will probably run fine. Kind of like changing parts until you have a completely new machine.

    The Sims Team needs to collaborate with Ava Max with her songs "Sweet But Psycho", "So Am I", "Kings And Queens" & "My Head And My Heart" to be re-recorded in Simlish, Also we need the Max Cut Hairstyle Update for The Sims 4 so that sims can sport the Max Cut hair.
