    With the recent rumors that the game isn’t going anywhere soon, it seems likely that we’ll get some other useful updates for build/buy mode in the future. What feature do you think will be next and why?

      It might not be next but I think they're working on it. I would love to make sectional sofas. It's something that I've wanted for a long time along with porch swings.

      They had a toggle for sectional sofas in the livestream, so that'll be next. Possibly painting ceiling as there's been a lot of talk about that, personally don't get the hype over it as it has zero effect on gameplay but anyways. I'd like to see ponds happen as well

      Umm I’m pretty sure it’s going to be this...

      I’d really like to see glass walls - especially for roofs so I can finally build my dream log cabin in Granite Falls. A simmer can dream!

      only cause of autosofa thing shown in the livestream though and we dont really have any hints for the other ones

      its mostly about immersion as it is hard to believe you are in underground tomb when you see white ceiling peeking at you all the time

      would even help if we just had black option

      but ideally id like to have stone and wood as well

      and maybe something ridiculously fancy like actual ceiling painting just for being extra about it

      Ravasheen CC found a bunch of changes in the coding for furniture slotting. So I think modular/sectional sofas are definitely coming and maybe other modular furniture too. Like bookshelves would be awesome, I would love to be able to surround a room in them w/o the corners freaking out.

      Sofas were leaked so I think we will see them in a future update. Maybe we will see more modular furniture in the future as well.

      I'm a little skeptical about updates that changes the worlds, they tend to avoid that because it can crash people's saves. So I'm not sure we will see buildable apartments, not in older worlds at least.

      SimguruAzure mentioned in her interview that cars were something that were on top of their minds but it also sounded like they wanted to make sure that they could implement them right, so maybe Garages/Driveways are something that they are considering but are not sure how to implement them well.

      Seeing the last stream sofas is the obvious choice to bad its not garages and driveways or the water tool.

      It would be interesting, even though I don't at this moment have any builds that need them... I could use sofas to divide big rooms, like we do in my actual house
      Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.

      Modular sofas as leaked on stream. I'm hoping we get curved walls and glass walls at some point. And please, please, look at circular/multi sided roofing and make them fit better.

      Would be nice if they make them like the counters and we could get several different seat types we could combine, like they do in IKEA. We could make both regular 2 or 3 seats sofas but also corner sofas or sofas with a lounge chair. Or sofas that go around a pillar or all around a room.

      I think Modular Sofas will come in the April Patch. They've already been leaked. Now I'd love to see pool shapes by Summer.

      It seems this was accidentally seen during the stream, so very likely.
      I am still hoping for true split levels and the ability to have rooms with different room heights on the same floor.
      I like fantasy and a bit of Sci-Fi. Want to know what I'm reading?
      I also like wandering the hills.

      Sofas for the same reason others have stated, but I want the pond tool the most.
