@oliv3 you can use any items you want but I don't have all the EP and SP so make sure you make a slide show of your build with grid mode on and have fun I'm looking forward to seeing another creative entry and if you're wondering anything else look at page one and if you need the answer to a question that wasn't already brought up feel free to ask me 😊
I used Agnes Crumplebottom's lot to create a French country home, 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Windows are from EP Pets and the outdoor kitchen is from Outdoor Living Stuff, but rest is base game (I think.. I have too many EP packs, but tried to limit EP/stuff packs). Also, some of the pictures, I moved the tree in the front, so you guys see the foundation/house.
Let me know if the link below doesn’t work, I am a newbie to this site! (:
wow @oliv3 your builds layout is great so glad you joined in and i also want to remind you that you don't have to limit packs we were just limiting packs because of the anniversary but by all means this shell challenge is for fun so if you want to use more packs you can
@oliv3 , Your creation is lovely all the way through..
Just a tip: taking pictures of an inside, press G to get rid of the grid..
Everyone Did Great, such Awesome creative juices here !
@seaben - It ( compared to Sims 4 ) is difficult to share creations ...Or maybe it is me, one has to evict their Sim from the home to just save it to their own files...( Just my point of view on that )
@pinkusfamily i just got the sims 4 a week or two ago so i'm just discovering it but i agree its easier to share builds but sometimes with the sims 3 want to download builds to get a closer look and you cant
@oliv3 - That is awesome!!! You nailed it! It's a great looking house. Love the colors and layout. I think my fav is the kitchen.

Thank you! I really enjoyed the shell change and hope there will be more in the future! I alway see shell challenges for TS4, so I definitely had to try this for TS3!

Thank you!! Great tip, I will definitely do that going forward with the inside! You guys all rock for taking the time out to look at my creation since it was an inconvenience to copy and paste the link lol
and i want to ask everyone something if i may how come half the people who enter this challenge don't upload there builds to the exchange ?
I sometimes have to go through my studio and delete stuff in order to be able to upload more, so I'm more conservative about what I upload. Also, I made them base game only so I could share them for the Simversary gift for the gift exchange.
@oliv3 - Congrats on making full member and being able to upload links and pics now. To remove grid lines, I always go into build mode and choose terrain paint, which removes all grid lines, or I move a sim in and then use camera mode: the c key, then tab and up and down, side to side, closer and farther away keys - a, d, s, w, e, q, x, and z all move the camera a bit as well as moving the mouse.
I might have got a bit confused on the one of the three items and about picture taking, can take more if needed
I've never used imgur before (always been photobucket but they wont allow anymore unless you pay ) so I think i've done it right https://imgur.com/a/ALCuzAu
Thank you @ciane ^_^ that means a lot, I feel like i'm going to go back and tweak it - it's definitely a WIP. It's my first house build in 3/4 years so I was nervous but this shell challenge has really helped me get creative.

I'm glad you joined in for this challenge and yes my plan is to post monthly challenges at first I was going to post them every week or two but everyone said they needed a month for these challenges so that's what I'm going to do

I'm enjoying it so far I mean the debug being able to resize and raise/lower objects but it's hard to find matching swatch's for any thing that's my take on it
