Yay! Simon and Tammy are engaging in such a nice and fun conversation. And they even made plans to meet up. I hope Simon won't get too clingy with her, but then again since she's not a mean girl like Humara she'll probably treat him much better to where he won't become clingy.

At the bar Ben was with Warren, Dom, Courtney and Shelly and Simon noticed Brett from Yates with a few people.
'Simon?' said Brett when he saw Simon. He shook his hand and asked if he was still at Yeates.
'No I have left now,' said Simon.
'What happened?' asked Brett.
'Long story,' replied Simon 'just had enough,'
'Same here,' said Brett 'I am still on sick leave but got a new job lined up. It had to get out of it. Simpson and Wes got too much,'
They spoke for a while and Simon introduced Brett to a few others that he was with. Brett took an interest in Shelly and managed to make conversation with her.
'Don't talk to her!' joked Dom 'she is a *offensive term for female who woohoos a lot*!'
'No I am not,' replied Shelly casually knowing that Dom could be childish.
'She knows I am messing,' said Dom 'but any guy would be lucky to be with her,'
Dom then went off back to the table with Warren following him.
'I don't know why he said that to you,' said Brett 'you seem nice,'
'Thanks,' said Shelly.
'Are you at the skills centre as well then?' Brett asked.
'Yes, that is how I know Simon,' replied Shelly.
'I used to go there,' added Brett 'I miss it now though.
Back at Simon's table Megan and Tammy were talking while waiting for their drinks.
'Anna is annoying me,' said Megan 'she is trying to be all friendly now but she has done this before when a guy messes her around,'
'You can still be friends with her though,' said Tammy.
'I know but you are a better friend to me,' said Megan 'and I am worried about Jamie as whenever a guy dumps her she tries to be all nice to him and will have him follow her around until she finds someone else. She is not fair on him,'
'Maybe you should try to meet up with Jamie sometime?' suggested Tammy.
'We have met up by ourselves a few times before,' said Megan.
'You might be good together though?' said Tammy.
'I don't think that he would like me that way,' added Megan 'and he is too interested in Anna to be with anyone else,'
'Has he ever had a girlfriend?' asked Tammy.
'Only a couple I think,' replied Megan.
'We need to get him away from Anna,' said Tammy 'she cannot be good for him,'
'I think that he does get annoyed with it,' said Megan 'you should meet up with Simon though,'
'We might meet next week,' said Tammy 'but just as friends I think,'

Everyone had mixed reactions about the night out. Simon was now feeling more optimistic about things and continued to text Tammy throughout the weekend. Jamie was having his hopes up about Anna but Megan was not impressed with her and how she was trying to move her way back in after ignoring her the previous few weeks. Nick was feeling unsure about Taz and how he would have known Humara. He had a good night with Humara but he sensed that something might have happened between her and Taz at some stage.
On Monday Regan took Simon and Jamie for an interview at the hotel where they would meet the head chef for a work placement. For Simon things seemed very different from Yeates. The head chef of the Britannia Hotel named Clement Chevrolet seemed very straight forward in what he wanted and had no problem with a few work experience students. He came to the agreement that Simon would work for him Monday to Wednesday and Jamie would work Tuesday until Thursday. They had a tour of the kitchen which was large and consisted of a number of storage areas.
For Tammy and Megan they had been taken by Jean to a pet shop for a possible placement. The pet shop was simply named For Pets and both girls would work together Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Later Jean would take Nick for an interview at Yeates. Simpson had been told to treat the students better and was in desperate need of staff so took Nick on. He gave him four days of work. Nick would work Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Nick was not impressed but knew that he had to go along with it.
All students would start work at their placements the next day while for Brenda she would now receive new students to help her. Stacy, Hana, Dom and Warren would fill in the spaces leaving only Dorley as the original student. Dorley was happy that he would be able to work with Stacy who he started to like but Stacy and Hana were not keen on being stuck with Warren and Dom every day.
Once everyone had got back from their interviews it was the afternoon break and Simon sat with Jamie, Tammy and Megan but Anna, Humara and Nick joined them. Humara and Nick said nothing to Simon or Tammy but Anna started acting like she was friends with everyone.
'So when are you starting your new placement at the pet shop?'
'We are starting tomorrow,' replied Megan still not impressed with Anna.
'That sounds good,' replied Anna 'they still have not got a placement for me yet,'
'Maybe we could get one together?' suggested Humara seeming jealous that Anna was talking to Megan again.
'Yeah I will say to Reagan that I will only do a placement if I can work with someone else,' added Anna.
'Nick is working wear you used to work,' Anna said to Simon.
'Oh right,' replied Simon.
'I heard that Dom and Warren are taking his place,' added Anna.
'I am going out for an *age restricted product*,' said Humara feeling awkward that Simon was at the table and Nick quickly followed her outside.
'I will go outside as well,' said Anna.
'Okay I will text you later,' said Jamie.
'Okay, I will text you as well, Megan,' replied Anna.
'Funny how she thinks that I will be all matey with her even after she has ignored me,' said Megan once Anna was gone.
'Nick does not look too impressed that he is working for Yeates,' said Simon 'Might make it harder for him to keep up with Humara,'
'It is a shame that she did not even bother to talk to me,' added Tammy sounding disappointed.
'Well you always have me,' said Megan 'and we still get to work together as well,'
'I am looking forward to it,' said Tammy 'and we still get to come here a couple of days a week,'
Megan then got a phone a text from her mother asking how her interview went so Megan went outside to ring her while Jamie went to talk to Anna.
'Jamie needs to be careful with Anna,' said Tammy 'I heard that she had a bad night with Craig the other night,'
'You cannot trust any of that lot,' said Simon.
'That Tony was not very nice about us,' added Tammy 'I am glad that Stacy told him where to go,'
'At least we had a better night,' said Simon 'we could still meet this week if you want?'
'Well I am going to be free later,' said Tammy 'I won't stay out too late as it is my first day of my placement tomorrow but perhaps we could do something for a few hours this afternoon after college?'
Simon was impressed. Tammy was keen to meet and wouldn't even keep him waiting and he did not even need to feel like he was being pushy.
After the final lesson of the day Simon and Tammy made their way out of the building and Simon noticed Brett outside.
'What are you doing here?' Simon asked him surprised to see him.
'I am looking to do a part time course,' replied Brett 'Want to have something to do along side of being in work all the time,'
'What are you going to do?' Simon asked him.
'Not sure so I thought that I would come in and see what part time courses they have,' replied Brett.
For Brett things had been boring since he left college. Working for Simpson and Wes had been hard for him and it had impacted his social life and undermined his relationships. He was also thinking a lot about Shelly and wanted to meet her again. Something felt right about her and it was a push to maybe go back to college and meet new people again.
Simon and Tammy reached the park and continued to talk to each other. They found a bench and Simon started to realise that he liked Tammy and wondered why he had not thought of her in that way before. He had known that Tammy had just come out of a relationship with someone but she he had regretted being involved with Humara. He had realised that Tammy was much more nicer and easier to talk to.
'Do you think that anything would happen between Jamie and Anna?' Simon asked.
'I am not sure,' replied Tammy 'Megan seems to think that Anna uses him,'
'I think that he would be better off with Megan,' added Simon.
'I was thinking that as well,' said Tammy 'we need to get him away from Anna,'
'Maybe we could try and set them up together?' suggested Simon 'we could invite them out with us at some point?'
'I think that could work,' replied Tammy 'I will talk to Megan about it but we will have to see how things work out for him and Anna,'
Simon and Tammy continued to talk about relationships and Tammy told Simon about her past experiences with guys who had let her down.
'I find it hard to talk to guys sometimes,' admitted Tammy 'I find it hard to make conversation so some guys would think that I am weird or something,'
'You seem okay at talking to me though,' said Simon.
'Well you are nice to me and I find you easy to talk to,' said Tammy.
'We should meet up more often?' Simon suggested.
'I would like that,' smiled Tammy.
Simon placed his hand on Tammy's and she moved closer to him. She felt safe and then placed he head on Simon's shoulder. It had been a while since she had been close to a guy and she had missed it. Simon was nice to her and different from any other guy that she had met up with before. Simon felt the same about Tammy. There was something about her and how innocent she seemed. He then put his arm around her and held her small body and kissed her head. Tammy was happy and felt appreciated for the first time in a long time.
'I want us to meet up again,' she said 'we can meet at the weekend if you want?'
'We could go to the cinema?' suggested Simon.
'What film would we see?' asked Tammy.
'I could look something up,' said Simon.
'If it is scary then I would have to hind behind you,' joked Tammy and Simon kissed her head again.
For the next half an hour they did not need to say much more to each other and continued to cuddle up until it started to get dark and Simon agreed to walk Tammy home. They spoke for a bit until they reached her house and Tammy hugged him and agreed to text Simon later. He then made his way towards the busy stop but got a text from Tammy sooner than expected. She thanked him for a nice evening and was looking forward to seeing him again. For Simon this felt like the start of something good.
Anna needs to quit being a flip flopper. Jamie seems like a good guy and I'd hate for his heart to get broken over a girl like her...

Brett was someone who Simon worked with at Yeates and was mentioned when he first worked there. He left because he had enough. He attended the skills centre a year before hand.
I enjoyed writing the part with Simon and Tammy. Have them meet up was my plan all along but the idea was for Simon to get hurt by Humara first and as Tammy had only come out of a relationship he did not think that she was available. Now things would be better for them
@king_of_simcity7 Yup. They both had to go through poor relationships to see what a good relationship really is. As the song goes, "God bless the broken road, that led me straight to you."

@king_of_simcity7 I've enjoyed the last few chapters. It is really good to see Simon and Tammy getting along and taking their time, but, obviously enjoying getting to know each other. They looked so great together at the park. I like that they both want to look after Jamie and maybe get him together with Megan. I don't trust that Anna either!
The next day Tammy and Megan started their new work placement at For Pets and where introduced to one of the employees named Jennifer who let them work together feeding some of the animals in the store. The girls liked Jennifer as she also liked the animals and the pet shop was a nice place to work. Aside from selling pet items such as beds and toys they also had a garden area where they bred chickens and also had pens for dogs and cats.
Jennifer got some food for the chickens and let Tammy and Megan feed the chickens by themselves.
'Will you meet Simon again?' Megan asked Tammy.
'We might be meeting on Saturday,' replied Tammy 'we will be going to the cinema together,'
'Does he like you then?'
'I don't know,' replied Tammy 'we got on really well though,'
'Do you like him?' Megan asked.
'Well he is really nice to me and he is not like some guys,'
'I think that you would make a nice couple,' said Megan 'he seems like the type who would treat you right,'
'Maybe we should meet up with you and Jamie sometime?' suggested Tammy.
'Jamie is only interested in Anna though,' replied Megan 'she wants to meet up with us and Warren on Saturday round hers but I am not sure if I want to go,'
'Do you think that Anna is using Jamie?' asked Tammy.
'I think so,' replied Megan 'she has been texting him a lot but I don't trust her as she was seeing that Tony guy and I think that she is using Simon to get over him,'
Jamie had been hearing a lot from Anna and was starting to home that something might finally happen between them. There was a plan for him, Warren and Megan to have a night round Anna's that following Saturday.
He had started his new placement with Simon at the hotel working for Clement Chevrolet. The chef was different to Simpson who Simon had previously worked for and gave the guys an easy first day mostly doing odd jobs around the kitchen such as peeling vegetables, washing some dishes and breaking apart empty boxes.
'It is quite easy working here,' Jamie said to Simon while they carried a bale of cardboard out towards the refuse area.
'Better than working for Simpson,' replied Simon 'at least we are not expected to work evenings,'
'I wonder how Nick will get along?' said Jamie.
'He won't last,' replied Simon 'Simpson likes people to work evenings and I don't think that Nick would like that. How else could he keep an eye on Humara?'
'Do you think that things would last for him and Humara?' Jamie asked.
'No idea,' replied Simon 'I have moved on from her now,'
'Are you seeing Tammy?'
'Well we are meeting up on Saturday,' replied Simon 'she seems more trustworthy and actually texts me first sometimes,'
'That must be a good sign,' said Jamie 'Anna texts me first sometimes,'
'Will you ask her out?' Simon asked.
'I will see what happens this weekend,' replied Jamie but things are looking up at the moment,'
Throughout the week Simon and Tammy would continue to become close and enjoyed seeing each other at college and had their night at the cinema to look forward to. Jamie was looking forward to the night in round Anna's and was still getting his hopes up that things might start working out for them. Her mother and sister were both out that night so they had the place to themselves while Megan came along a bit later. The plan was to spend the evening drinking and enjoying themselves.

'I say that we drink to that!' said Warren 'we should have am messy night,'

'Are they together now then?' asked Anna 'funny how he went after Tammy after Humara turned him down!'
'Well they are close and get along,' said Megan.
'Well they will both work well together as they are meant to be clingy,' added Anna.
'What makes you say that?' asked Megan.
'Well Simon practically stalked Humara and Humara said that Tammy kept going on about her ex boyfriend all the time which is why she got bored of Tammy,' said Anna.
Megan was not impressed. Anna and obviously Humara had clearly been talking about Simon and Tammy and had been negative about them.
'So are you not seeing Humara this weekend?' Megan asked.
'Well she is out with Cassie and that lot,' replied Anna 'and that means that Tony will be there so I had to turn it down,'
'You are better off being with us,' said Jamie 'at least it will be like old times,'
Through most of the evening the group continued to drink although Megan was annoyed with Anna and how rude she came across. Megan would instead text Tammy who had been looking forward to meeting up with Simon and was about to go and watch the film with him when Anna got a text from Tony.
'You never guess who just text me!' exclaimed Anna 'Tony!'
'What does he want?' asked Jamie feeling his heart drop.
'He is just asking how I am,' said Anna.
@king_of_simcity7 It's good that Jamie and Simon get along with the new work they are doing. I have a feeling Jamie is going to need a friend to talk with about Anna at some point.
I don't trust Anna, she seems to be a user and she talks mean about people in front of their friends....like trashing Tammy in front of Megan. I respect that Megan doesn't want to be confrontational and cause a fight, but was surprised she let her talk bad about Tammy like that without a comment.

Megan then got a phone a text from her mother asking how her interview went so Megan went outside to ring her while Jamie went to talk to Anna.
'Jamie needs to be careful with Anna,' said Tammy 'I heard that she had a bad night with Craig the other night,'
'You cannot trust any of that lot,' said Simon.
'That Tony was not very nice about us,' added Tammy 'I am glad that Stacy told him where to go,'
'At least we had a better night,' said Simon 'we could still meet this week if you want?'
'Well I am going to be free later,' said Tammy 'I won't stay out too late as it is my first day of my placement tomorrow but perhaps we could do something for a few hours this afternoon after college?'
Simon was impressed. Tammy was keen to meet and wouldn't even keep him waiting and he did not even need to feel like he was being pushy.
After the final lesson of the day Simon and Tammy made their way out of the building and Simon noticed Brett outside.
'What are you doing here?' Simon asked him surprised to see him.
'I am looking to do a part time course,' replied Brett 'Want to have something to do along side of being in work all the time,'
'What are you going to do?' Simon asked him.
'Not sure so I thought that I would come in and see what part time courses they have,' replied Brett.
For Brett things had been boring since he left college. Working for Simpson and Wes had been hard for him and it had impacted his social life and undermined his relationships. He was also thinking a lot about Shelly and wanted to meet her again. Something felt right about her and it was a push to maybe go back to college and meet new people again.
Simon and Tammy reached the park and continued to talk to each other. They found a bench and Simon started to realise that he liked Tammy and wondered why he had not thought of her in that way before. He had known that Tammy had just come out of a relationship with someone but she he had regretted being involved with Humara. He had realised that Tammy was much more nicer and easier to talk to.
'Do you think that anything would happen between Jamie and Anna?' Simon asked.
'I am not sure,' replied Tammy 'Megan seems to think that Anna uses him,'
'I think that he would be better off with Megan,' added Simon.
'I was thinking that as well,' said Tammy 'we need to get him away from Anna,'
'Maybe we could try and set them up together?' suggested Simon 'we could invite them out with us at some point?'
'I think that could work,' replied Tammy 'I will talk to Megan about it but we will have to see how things work out for him and Anna,'
Simon and Tammy continued to talk about relationships and Tammy told Simon about her past experiences with guys who had let her down.
'I find it hard to talk to guys sometimes,' admitted Tammy 'I find it hard to make conversation so some guys would think that I am weird or something,'
'You seem okay at talking to me though,' said Simon.
'Well you are nice to me and I find you easy to talk to,' said Tammy.
'We should meet up more often?' Simon suggested.
'I would like that,' smiled Tammy.
Simon placed his hand on Tammy's and she moved closer to him. She felt safe and then placed he head on Simon's shoulder. It had been a while since she had been close to a guy and she had missed it. Simon was nice to her and different from any other guy that she had met up with before. Simon felt the same about Tammy. There was something about her and how innocent she seemed. He then put his arm around her and held her small body and kissed her head. Tammy was happy and felt appreciated for the first time in a long time.
'I want us to meet up again,' she said 'we can meet at the weekend if you want?'
'We could go to the cinema?' suggested Simon.
'What film would we see?' asked Tammy.
'I could look something up,' said Simon.
'If it is scary then I would have to hind behind you,' joked Tammy and Simon kissed her head again.
For the next half an hour they did not need to say much more to each other and continued to cuddle up until it started to get dark and Simon agreed to walk Tammy home. They spoke for a bit until they reached her house and Tammy hugged him and agreed to text Simon later. He then made his way towards the busy stop but got a text from Tammy sooner than expected. She thanked him for a nice evening and was looking forward to seeing him again. For Simon this felt like the start of something good.

Brett was someone who Simon worked with at Yeates and was mentioned when he first worked there. He left because he had enough. He attended the skills centre a year before hand.
I enjoyed writing the part with Simon and Tammy.
Great character development.
@king_of_simcity7 I've enjoyed the last few chapters. It is really good to see Simon and Tammy getting along and taking their time, but, obviously enjoying getting to know each other. They looked so great together at the park. I like that they both want to look after Jamie and maybe get him together with Megan. I don't trust that Anna either!
The Cowboy and the Mermaid
The next day Tammy and Megan started their new work placement at For Pets and where introduced to one of the employees named Jennifer who let them work together feeding some of the animals in the store. The girls liked Jennifer as she also liked the animals and the pet shop was a nice place to work. Aside from selling pet items such as beds and toys they also had a garden area where they bred chickens and also had pens for dogs and cats.
Jennifer got some food for the chickens and let Tammy and Megan feed the chickens by themselves.
'Will you meet Simon again?' Megan asked Tammy.
'We might be meeting on Saturday,' replied Tammy 'we will be going to the cinema together,'
'Does he like you then?'
'I don't know,' replied Tammy 'we got on really well though,'
'Do you like him?' Megan asked.
'Well he is really nice to me and he is not like some guys,'
'I think that you would make a nice couple,' said Megan 'he seems like the type who would treat you right,'
'Maybe we should meet up with you and Jamie sometime?' suggested Tammy.
'Jamie is only interested in Anna though,' replied Megan 'she wants to meet up with us and Warren on Saturday round hers but I am not sure if I want to go,'
'Do you think that Anna is using Jamie?' asked Tammy.
'I think so,' replied Megan 'she has been texting him a lot but I don't trust her as she was seeing that Tony guy and I think that she is using Simon to get over him,'
Jamie had been hearing a lot from Anna and was starting to home that something might finally happen between them. There was a plan for him, Warren and Megan to have a night round Anna's that following Saturday.
He had started his new placement with Simon at the hotel working for Clement Chevrolet. The chef was different to Simpson who Simon had previously worked for and gave the guys an easy first day mostly doing odd jobs around the kitchen such as peeling vegetables, washing some dishes and breaking apart empty boxes.
'It is quite easy working here,' Jamie said to Simon while they carried a bale of cardboard out towards the refuse area.
'Better than working for Simpson,' replied Simon 'at least we are not expected to work evenings,'
'I wonder how Nick will get along?' said Jamie.
'He won't last,' replied Simon 'Simpson likes people to work evenings and I don't think that Nick would like that. How else could he keep an eye on Humara?'
'Do you think that things would last for him and Humara?' Jamie asked.
'No idea,' replied Simon 'I have moved on from her now,'
'Are you seeing Tammy?'
'Well we are meeting up on Saturday,' replied Simon 'she seems more trustworthy and actually texts me first sometimes,'
'That must be a good sign,' said Jamie 'Anna texts me first sometimes,'
'Will you ask her out?' Simon asked.
'I will see what happens this weekend,' replied Jamie but things are looking up at the moment,'
Throughout the week Simon and Tammy would continue to become close and enjoyed seeing each other at college and had their night at the cinema to look forward to. Jamie was looking forward to the night in round Anna's and was still getting his hopes up that things might start working out for them. On Saturday night he met up with Warren in the afternoon and they made their way to Anna's flat where she lived with her mother and sister. Her mother and sister were both out that night so they had the place to themselves while Megan came along a bit later. The plan was to spend the evening drinking and enjoying themselves.
'It is good to have everyone hang out together isn't it?' Anna said to Megan once Megan had arrived 'it reminds me of old times,'
'I say that we drink to that!' said Warren 'we should have am messy night,'
'So you are not meeting your new friend Tammy tonight?' Anna asked Megan.
'She is with Simon tonight at the cinema,' replied Megan.
'Are they together now then?' asked Anna 'funny how he went after Tammy after Humara turned him down!'
'Well they are close and get along,' said Megan.
'Well they will both work well together as they are meant to be clingy,' added Anna.
'What makes you say that?' asked Megan.
'Well Simon practically stalked Humara and Humara said that Tammy kept going on about her ex boyfriend all the time which is why she got bored of Tammy,' said Anna.
Megan was not impressed. Anna and obviously Humara had clearly been talking about Simon and Tammy and had been negative about them.
'So are you not seeing Humara this weekend?' Megan asked.
'Well she is out with Cassie and that lot,' replied Anna 'and that means that Tony will be there so I had to turn it down,'
'You are better off being with us,' said Jamie 'at least it will be like old times,'
Through most of the evening the group continued to drink although Megan was annoyed with Anna and how rude she came across. Megan would instead text Tammy who had been looking forward to meeting up with Simon and was about to go and watch the film with him when Anna got a text from Tony.
'You never guess who just text me!' exclaimed Anna 'Tony!'
'What does he want?' asked Jamie feeling his heart drop.
'He is just asking how I am,' said Anna.
@king_of_simcity7 It's good that Jamie and Simon get along with the new work they are doing. I have a feeling Jamie is going to need a friend to talk with about Anna at some point.
I don't trust Anna, she seems to be a user and she talks mean about people in front of their friends....like trashing Tammy in front of Megan. I respect that Megan doesn't want to be confrontational and cause a fight, but was surprised she let her talk bad about Tammy like that without a comment.
