Hi, sorry for posting in color but this needs attention. Big mafia sites like Mafia Universe and MafiaScum are changing the word "lynch" because of the historical issues linked to it particularly for the black people. MafiaScum has proposed the word "elimination/eliminate" as the standard term, so I think it's best for us to follow and make a change too. It's a hard change but it's for the better.
"Keyen is scum and I think I'd push for his elimination!"
"I think no one is scummy at the moment so VOTE: NO ELIMINATION"
"Guys, I don't think we should eliminate Keyen cause he's not scummy"
It still has the "lynch" ring to it, but more safe and careful.

I hadn't realised the word lynch has historical ties to the injustice of Black People, but if it has then I am definitely down for the switch to the word Eliminate Instead.
Saying that though, wouldn't words like Hang or Execute be closer?

Execute can be confused with the role Executioner. Execute can also be a replacement word for "kill" which is used at night phases of the game. Hanging is a notorious means of lynching, so it will carry the same racially charged connotation.
I’m fine with using eliminate. It will take some adjusting to though. I’m not good with change
I'm fine with making a change. It'll be odd at first, but I think we'll get used to it. Years ago, Crafty wanted to change lynching to jailing/arresting, but I feel like that could get confused with the jailkeeper role.
