ASOS Fashion Event Thread «12345...Next Go

I have unlocked the fashion story heirloom. Where do i find the story? I switched on of my sims jobs from the fashion designer job but cant seem to find how to do the new story. Please help.

Update. I could only do the fashion event with a sim that hadnt already achieved level 10 in the regular fashion story. Lame.

It is the same for the two photography stories. You can't do the ASOS one with someone who has done the regular one.

There are eleven quests to do, for the fashion event. There are 6 days left to do the event in. These link articles explain about the event

I think there is a bug on ASOS event. I was waiting 5 to 7 hours to return to ASOS activities, but now it shows that I have to wait 20/21hours... it must be a bug... that's disappointing

I get that but I didn't know you had to leave your device on for it to clear the hours waiting because it tacked on more time

I’ve tried that. It worked the first time, but then it wasn’t working just closing the app... but now it fixed itself, even tought I haven’t done anything... hope the bug won’t happen again.

I am having a problem with the time of the activities in ASOS I looked this morning and it said I had one coming in 4 hours now it says I day. I closed the app like suggested but it didn't change the time. Its hard enough to get enough tokens at this rate I will never be able to purchase all the clothes. Anyone else having this problem?

Instead of the ASOS goals resetting every 8 hours, mine will now only reset every 24 hours, which will make it impossible to complete. Why?

Does anyone know if the ASOS fashion story and ASOS photography story will remain available after the ASOS event ends? I mean, if I unlock them durin the event, can I start them later when this whole ASOS thing is over?

The reason why I am asking is that I already have a sim in the (ordinary) fashion career, and can’t seem to start the ASOS fashion story even though I got the heirloom. He isn’t ready to retire yet and I don’t want to move him to another career unless I have to.

Try closing the app completely . Then reopen it and see if the issue remains,

If you unlock them through the event you will be able to start them later on. Simmers have found though that if a sim has level 10 in the fashion career, the sim is unable to do the other story,

I can’t start event 10; marketing campaign. I have done it before the event but can’t find the start button now.

I have sent a bug report. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Try pressing the ASOS button on the top right hand side of the screen. Then press the activities label button underneath the row of clothing. Click the marketing event button, and that will take you to the business career venue where you can start the event.

This challenge has awesome rewards that are pretty impossible to get. The most coins you can get at one time is 40 from an event that takes 6 hours to complete and another 6 hours to restart. Meanwhile youre stuck with othr actions that render at max 10 coins after completion. Trash. Im busting my butt to finish (started the challenge on the 23rd) and Ive only got 610 coins. How are you suppose to complete this is the given time frame?

You also get a few coins from your career, hobbies, relationships and such.

Also, I never spend any cupcakes during regular play. I horde them to use during events like this one. That way I can finish the six hour event in minutes, Letting me do that event almost 4 times a day. If you don't have cupcakes, take a quick trip home to take a nap or use the toilet or take a shower or take a bath.
I've just finished collecting all of the rewards in the event.

I have had enough this game is ridiculous, I’ve had nothing but glitches. The game doesn’t always save and you lose progress and now the time clocks messed up. And now I’ve had the civic center lock up after paying over 10,000 simoleons

I'm stuck on the marketing asos quest. The icon to start the event went missing the moment I got the quest for the marketing campaign. Clicking the Asia button and going to the event does nothing. Manually going to the event location does nothing. Restarting phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the game has done nothing. Anyone else having this issue or found a way past it?

I am sorry that you are having this issue. Have you reached level 15 ? This level unlocks Downtown, and your issue may be because you are not at that level? I am not sure.

I only need 175 tokens to finalize this event.
Unlike the hottub event, it did not cause me so much anxiety.
During the hottub event I almost gave up on the game because it was making me sick, but this time it was quieter.

I still think it should be sold the stuff of the events in the store. The sims has always been about paid expansions. Not always lot boxes or race against time can be something good for the player.

Anyway, the event is ending this week. How are you doing at this event?
