Week 2
With their days filled with teaching the triplets how to walk, talk and getting them potty trained, the McPhail's life becomes more routine.

Patience took Karly to the library to read and let her play in the toy box. Later Patience had some alone time at the park
Euan's Day off
Euan escapes to the community garden. This dog showed up and followed him all over the garden but not home thankfully.
Then off he went to the festival grounds and did some guy stuff. Shooting off fireworks
Everyone is now talking, walking and is potty trained. The kids continue to play with the toddler toys and read books.
With the kids all washed, fed and in bed at the same time, the happy but tired parents go to bed together for the first time since the triplets were born and fall fast asleeep.
The week ends with the triplets birthday. Euan and Patience decide on just a small family celebration this time.
Later that night...
I love the big porch too - it makes the house feel and look so welcoming. I should use porches more...don't tend to have them in England, as it's never that hot and it's often dark due to lack of sunshine!
Lol well sometime after my birthday cake and before sending the kiddos to bed I was able to write up 2 more chapters.I switched to using the days for the chapter titles. hopefully it will help me keep better track of my progress.
Euan suffered no ill effects from his abduction but has been painting strange scenes, possibly some memories are lingering.
On the first day of their childhood the three kids went off in different directions. They all tried their luck at collecting things but mostly just had some fun around town
Since school was starting the next day, Patience decided to take the kids for haircuts and some new school clothes. Kerrick was not thrilled to be in a salon.
Since the kids came out so well Euan and Patience got new looks as well.
The new school week started on a happy note - Double Rainbow!
But the day ended up with tons of homework
While the kids were at school Euan and Patience took advantage of the quiet and got to sit down together at breakfast and get some work done around the house
After school work was done there was time for play. The park next door just got a tree house!
As the weekend rolled around there was family time at the Fall Festival and then pumpkin carving at home

Kitchen - bought the washing machine and Patience found the dryer. Since Euan has soooo much produce I bought him a canning station. More food for everyone! - Done!-

The neat end to the kitchen is great - I like the half walls just separating the space without cutting it off completely (another thing to try myself!) Like the colour scheme in the sitting room and dining room too. Love the way everyone does it differently!
Week 4
This week was full of school days, field trips and another birthday
Euan continues to paint odd pictures
Patience needs some "me" time and headed to a park nearby. After picking all the wild flowers she could find she decided to try her hand at golf. Nice form!
Karly gets in trouble
The kids had a field trip to the Theater today, well all except Karly who over slept and had to go to school. Since there were no buses home, it was well after dark when she got home and Euan was not happy with her.
"Where have you been?" Euan demanded. "Kerrick and Katie have been home for hours. They didn't see you today on the field trip!"
Karly tried to explain that she had missed the bus that morning and was at school all day and then she had to walk home and begged him to forgive her.
Which of course, he did.
The next day the kids all had science projects and were out collecting bugs and rocks. Patience had an art commission so Euan was left at home to do the laundry, but the laundry fought back!
(this was one of funniest few moments of Euan's life so far)
He finally got the washer subdued when it suddenly overflowed. Bubbles everywhere!

Yay, finally! Today is Spooky day and the kiddos get to go Trick or Treating
Then it was back home where mom and dad were hosting a Feasting Party
Euan fighting with the washing machine was fun! I liked Patience playing golf too - is that store content or cc?
It's from Showtime. I don't use CC anymore, I have been enjoying all the EA stuff for a while now and haven't played a game with CC for a number of years. I still have tons of it, locked away in a separate file.
This is such a long update I'm doing it in two parts
Week five has been the busiest week of all for the McPhails. Growing up, dances, driving, after school programs, part time jobs, just to mention a few
Week Five - PART ONE
The week started with the triplets birthday, hello teenagers!
Euan and Patience exchanged looks as if to say, Yay, we did it.
Then they did a happy dance
Now that the kids are fairly self-sufficient, life is easier for all of them. There is now some leisure time, family meals and a feeling of contentment and routine.
Everyone seems to be getting along and has a good relationship except for Karly. She simply doesn't get along with anyone. Patience takes the girls to the library for a girls day.
Karly expresses an interest in photography and tells Patience all about the camera she would like to get, but when Patience gifts her one she turns it down flat!
Bound and determined to build a happy relationship with Karly, they head off to the movies. Finally by the end of the night they are finally friends.
The days roll by and all of a sudden it's Prom Night. Dressed in their best they all head out for the dance. It was a very eventful evening. Katie and Karly both got into fights. Kerrick and Katie were crowned King and Queen.
Katie couldn't sleep she was so excited after the dance. She told Patience all about it while Patience hinted that she would like to have another baby since they were all grown up now.
Kerrick met Autumn Ricketts at the dance and it was love at first sight. They had their first date the next day.
At this point the RENOVACY part of the challenge has been completed.
The house has been totally restored and remodeled. Kitchen, living and dining areas complete. A den has been added as well as a bath downstairs with the All-in-One.
Upstairs are four bedrooms, two full baths and a family room.

and right in the middle of it Patience goes into labor. At least this time Euan goes to the hospital with her Twins!! A boy and a girl - Luke and Laura Surprisingly it's Karly and Kerrick who take to the twins first. They are always right there to cuddle and feed without being asked. They seen put out if someone beats them to it.
This is the end of the Renovancy Challege. I am going to keep playing this family until the LTW of Surrounded by Family is achieved and because I've grown quite fond of everyone. I'd love to see everyone graduate and move on with their lives. Wish them Luck
You got twins! I was beginning to think that everyone would get triplets twice. I really like the colours you've used round the house and the way the house looks from the outside with that big wrap-around porch. Reminds me a little bit of some of the houses we saw when we were in New Zealand. Minus the snow - we went in their summer!
It had been a long hard day and the group was tired, dirty but at least they had full bellies. After their meal and discussion of how to make ends meet the weary group unrolled their sleeping bags and fell into an exhaused sleep.
Week one - Day one
After a long night sleeping on the hard, cold floor Amina decided she couldn't do that for another night.
As she rolled up her sleeping bag she thought, "We have to find a way to get some decent beds."
After a quick breakfast they went outside to check out their surroundings
"I don't know how I can plant a garden here, it's all covered with asphalt!" cried Amina
"This place is the worst!" yelled Kristen, adding in a few gestures.
"Hey, listen, this is the best we can do under the circumstances, so LAY OFF" said Anton as he stomped away.
"Wow," Amina whispered, "you better be nicer to him, I think you really made him mad."
"Let's try and make it up to him. I'll clear out the trash in the warehouse and you can do some cleaning. Okay" said Kristen. And they worked together for a good long while. [/url]
Once the trash was removed and the bath and kitchen scrubbed things didn't look so bad.
Kristen decided to try her hand at dumpster diving but soon found it too disgusting. She wandered town and found a You-Pick-It garden. That looked so much better to her.
After stomping off, Anton did do some dumpster diving. He was really surprised how sick it made him. He found a gym and was able to wash the ick off. He had been thinking of the blow-up between him and Kristen. "I wonder if there would be a guitar at the second hand shop." he wondered.
"Sorry, none today but do stop back. You never know what will be here," the cheery shop assistant said.
Amina went down the banks of the river and tried fishing, but she had no bait and they wouldn't bite the bare hook.
Off to the library she went to read a few cookbooks and maybe something about fishing. There are no fishing books in the library so she went to bookstore but had no money to buy a book.
When Kristen got back to the warehouse she showed Amina the produce she collected and asked if she could make dinner with them. Amina was thrilled with veggies and fruits and got to work on a salad. Oops, she cut her finger. The girls sat down to eat on the new sofa a chair that Anton had found that day but he declined to eat with them.
After the long day, Anton made a final check outside before everyone unrolled the sleeping bags yet again and try to get some sleep. Hopefully there will be beds soon.

Thanks I'll post as often as I can. I'm kind of slow at these things.
Sometimes I forget to take pictures and get caught up the game play.
Yesterday I discovered that I was pressing the space bar when I thought I was pressing C I had to go back and I missed some stuff but did the best I could.
Anton woke early the next morning. Seeing the girls sleeping on the floor left him feeling disgusted.
There has to be a way to get some decent furniture at least. Doing something physical always helped him think things through, so he went outside.
If I cut these old dead trees down, this might make a good garden spot. So he did just that and then stacked the wood nice and neat. That should last through winter, Win-win.

Anton found a shovel and went to work, before long he had a huge patch of dirt turned and ready for the garden. He called Amina and showed her the new plot.
Anton and Amina gathered all the seeds they had collected and started planting. Kristen even came out to help.
When they had finished they all went their separate ways.
Amina cleaned the warehouse and plunged her nose into a book
Anton went off to the gym to work out
Kristen went to the festival, gathered flowers and met a few locals
Kristen came back to warehouse loaded with flowers. She gave some to Amina as a gift and then took some
bought a mirror to practice her speech for some charisma points. It almost looks like she is singing...hmmm.
Amina cooked the evening meal and Kristen had a meltdown because Anton sat in "her" chair. Wow she has issues thought Amina.
While they ate Anton told them "I sold some of the metals and stones I found yesterday and bought beds for everyone! I also found some screens we can put around them for a bit of privacy."
So they now have a garden started, clean floors, a bed each and privacy screens. Things are looking up.
