The hardest steps on a First Day were those that took you through the front door. Sheeza took these steps feeling ready, thanks to Julio.
Sheeza knew that she'd not be doing any glorious surgery her first day but what she was asked to do seemed...non-glorious. It really set her mind straight to what she was really getting into.
Mopping messes.
Making beds.
Feeding patients. This wasn't so bad.
Time to feed herself now. She ate on her feet, just in case she was called for to do something.
She was called for, but she was able to finish her meal before she had to meet the doctor. So many thoughts went through her mind as she traveled that long hallway. Would he like her hard work so far? Would he hate her? Was she going to be fired for...whatever?
To her surprise the doctor, her boss, was a female. And she was so kind and understanding. The beginnings of a friendship began and all was good. The doctor, Aanya Ramesh, even showed her a few tips for the analyzer.
In the following days Sheeza kept working hard and keeping a good attitude. Even tired, she poured herself some coffee and kept going.
Sheeza's good work ethic did not go unnoticed.
Julio was thrilled and decided to celebrate her promotion with a little 'fun'.
I've posted 4 chapters here already and probably have another 30 that I've already played. This is why I have a very hard time posting. LOL Any suggestions what to do about that? What do you all do?
@Rawla I tended to post as I played but I found that exhausting. xD
I now divide my pictures in half (or thirds) and post them a few days apart. I try to at least.
I feel your pain though! It's so hard to not post everything at once.
@carlimact I think its funny/interesting how the twin's child traits seem to be the opposite of their toddler ones. Nicholas' eyes are so gorgeous. Love that skintone with them too. Grownups getting lonesome without all the chaos during the day now that the kids are in school? Or...They are probably rejoicing at the quiet. lol Love the update! Thanks also for the comment on how you get your updates/chapters out.
Chapter 5 Update Dump. lol Soooo much has happened. I'll try to hit the highlights on some of it.
Woah! That wasn't suppose to happen...
Despite the learning woes of Julio cooking, his meals always seem to turn out excellent.
Because of his hard work in the culinary career, Julio kept bringing in those promotions.
Sheeza also kept advancing in her medical career too. With each promotion (and in between too), Julio would woo her.
That's a lot of promotions. A lot of woohoo too. And with risk at 10% you'd think their 'celebrations' would be harmless?
...Think again.
This happy surprise happened more often for Julio and Sheeza than they'd ever thought possible. This first unexpected 'celebration' outcome blessed them with twin girls. Elena and Catalina.
After Sheeza was promoted again...
Logan was born at 5:59pm at home.
And then along came another set of twins after the last promotion. Jonas and Benjamin. They might be identical.
Chapter 6

Because of having five kids at home, Julio's aspiration began to change from making meals great to making his kids great. Quitting his job, he is now a stay-at-home dad with the super parent aspiration. He wants to do them good.
@carlimact - Glad to see you back and posting! Those darn aliens are just annoying! Luckily Malia seems to be okay after coming back. Pablo seems like such a caring grandpa to the little ones. Oh and happy birthday to the twins! I really like the way Nicholas turned out and Maya looks like a sweet girl.
@Rawla - Oh wow what a way to come back, with two lovely founders ♥ I like how cozy their new home looks and they seem to be enjoying it as well. I think you are doing really well with your story so far I think Sheeza is a fun sim and Julio compliments her well. And she looks so cute in her scrubs for work, I know she will do fine! Congrats to Julio and Sheeza on their promotions at work and on the nooboo! 10% is where I have my risky woohoo at. And aww Julio becoming a stay at home dad is so sweet, more time with his kiddos ♥
As far as posting, I usually don't get a lot of play time so I wouldn't be any help sorry. But feel free to post longer updates maybe if you want to!

Chapter 7
Growing up and FIRE!
Time seemed to pass so quickly. Before they knew it, Elena and Catalina were no longer toddlers. Where did the time go? Thanks to Julio staying home, each of the girls maxed every skill they could possibly learn. Time for childhood and school to begin! Knowing that they needed their own room, work was done to build a basement room for them. They both squealed with delight when they saw it.

The whole family in one place at the same time. The girls are getting along great. Mom (Sheeza) is reading to the youngest twins, Jonas and Benjamin. Dad (Julio) is showing Logan some individual attention as he was feeling a bit left out, being the only one without a twin. He seems to be enjoying Dad's love very much.
With the good, comes the bad. Caring for five children was not cheap. Some things they'd like to replace, like the clothes washer and dryer just had to wait. Perhaps that wasn't the best decision. Hindsight though...
Julio "discovered" fire first.
Then it was Sheeza's turn to get burned.
They still could not afford to replace them, but there was no way they'd let these dangerous machines harm one of their kids. So out they went to the dump. They'd wash by hand until they could save up enough for a new set. It was exhausting but at least they would all be okay.

I built a little Vet office in this neighborhood. The park is the original lot. I'll be replacing it later.
@Rawla When I used my randomizer, I laughed. I didn't think their traits would do a complete 180. I think Malia misses the kids more than Pablo. lol

@OJenn Hi!! I as kinda scared after Malia came back. I thought something bad was going to happen. Old man Pablo is kid of the best. I hope he lives to see a grandchild. Thank you! I'm glad the twins turned out ok. I find the third babies always look strange.

@Carlimact I use a trait randomizer mod, so they get a random trait when they grow up. I'll see about listing the outcome for the kids soon.

New basement bathroom for the girls was necessary.
Time for the girls to do a bit of journal writing while mom bakes... is that fresh bread they smell? Yummy!
The boys are getting along wonderfully. Jonas is using glasses for a while to help his eyesight. Elena is working on her typing skills. Catalina is at the dining table playing with her Emotion Toy.
After the kids are asleep Julio takes Sheeza outside for a nice moment of stargazing.
Late that night (2:30am) Julio is getting the food ready for his family's next day. He still loves cooking.
@OJenn Oh I like that you reset James's elder years. So sad to see Cosmo go though. I love that picture of Joy and her cousin. They look sooo over everything. I love your grand babies too!! Chapter 53: New House
Well, as the boys aged up to toddlers we had to trade in the beautiful round table for one the entire family could fit at.
The upstairs living room was finally finished. They loved to read up there. I just realized they still don’t have a television!
The kitty Toki wasn’t feeling well. They found her in the girl’s room.
Colwyn had to convince her to get into the carrier for a trip to the vet.
By the time they got there, her paws were no longer glowing but she still got the best care.
Colwyn and Toki were very happy.
Later he met up with his friends.
The girls are working hard on their skills, sometimes the toddlers get upset but dad distracts them.
I was thinking Colwyn had a lot of kids but really his parents had 7 and so did his grandfather. It’s just he got all his in 2 pregnancies!
Laurel had a fire on her table but Mom was on it before I could even think about it.
These are Davyn and Gretchen’s kid.
There were a lot of birthdays. Autumn and Colwyn aged up without cakes but we got them for the boys!
I had to peek at my future heirs. I’m pretty sure I know who my heir will be.
