Sim is literally stuck

Decided to take my family on vacation with the Outdoor Retreat GP because things were stressful at home and my sim randomly just got stuck.

I've tried resetting my sim but it doesn't work. She's just stuck.



In addition, I'm still getting invited out by friends back at home while on vacation. Is that bug?

FYI: I don't use mods/cc and I use an 8-year old windows 7 laptop, however, this has NEVER happened to me before and I rarely go on vacation. This would be my second time ever using the feature. Also, I play graphics on low, which is why the quality of the screencaps are blurry.

and have you tried restarting? I've had this happen to me before but it usually fixes itself when I restart or reload into the lot.

@CyrusTheLoser I just exited my game without saving and will go back. Is this an Outdoor Retreat bug or can sims get stuck regardless? I've never faced this issue Also, is it a bug to still get invited to outings while on vacation?

why didn't you save?! you should have saved it lol
and no it isn't specific to OR, I've had it happen to my waiters in my restaurant. It seems to be a bug related to staircases.

@CyrusTheLoser I didn't save because I only played a little bit and was scared she'd still be stuck if I saved LOL And I see. I'll take note of this bug.

oh okay, good thing you only played for a bit lol. next time save, she should be fixed when you reload regardless

(ps: my history class went over Cyrus the Great and your username reminds me of them lol)

When sims get stuck, sometimes issues can be fixed by taking the sim into CAS or by pressing the M key to have them travel to another lot,

either should be fine
swapping lots also seems to work, as well as rosemow's suggestions
