Do kids have a curfew?

I don't play families so I'm unaware whether there is a curfew or such. I did the plantsim challenge in the Willow Creek park & made my sim stay there overnight to try to complete it. This has never happened before in any of my saves, three to four kids out at midnight to 5am playing at the playground.
It's been months since I've brought my sim back to either the Oasis & Willow Creek parks. Seeing kids still playing at the playgrounds late after dark is very odd. My sim usually frequents the Myshuno park to shoot hoops & I rarely see kids pop up from time to time. Just lots of the usual joggers & the bartender. Normal stuff.
Is this a bug? Also that creep Goth kid called out my sim for a date which I've seen others post on the bug threads recently as well.

I don't think that there is a curfew for kids. I thimk that it is up to parent sims to decide on the sleeping hours.

They're townie kids & they come alone, I can never find other older family members around. Most of the time it's Alexander Goth that spawns around after dark.

It's a minor bug but it bothers me a lot.
I don't think that the game intends the child sims to be out at the park late at night/early morning.

No, kids in TS4 don't have a curfew. Parks are usually where you find kids. Some want this to change. I don't. It would break some people's stories in their heads if kids get a curfew. There has been many arguments and discussions about. Some of us don't want the freedom of kids being anywhere taken away like it was in TS3.
