Cuz I dreamt we rescued this like baby bird and it started flying around the house but it couldn't control its direction very well, but I let it be cuz I thought it was cute flying around. And then the bird slammed onto our cabinet and broke its beak and skull and looked like it won't survive and my mom had to kill it to end its misery and I started bawling.

I rescued a baby bird once! The intake for the wildlife shelter near (ish, it's like an hour away. And they're moving even further away) has very limited intake hours, so I had to keep him alive for nearly 24 hours. I should see if I can find a photo...

I was at the zoo in a bird sanctuary and one of the girls (not an employee) had lorekeet on her hand drinking sugar water, it was surely a sight to be seen
but she said they were uncomfortable and it makes sense cuz those talons don't look like pillows
