Can't bathe toddler, any advice?

My toddler is independent. I had no problem yesterday when I was playing an inquisitive toddler but this one is upset because she's so dirty. I've removed all mods, even tried adding mods but the same thing happens. Mom puts the toddler in the bath, kneels down to start to wash her and suddenly stands up and removes her. By now the poor toddlers hygiene bar is red and she is crying about being dirty. I've sold the bath-tub and bought different ones. I've moved the bathtub, nothing is in the way. Please help or is this just something that needs repairing.

Have you tried to go into origin and repair game?

I don't know if any mods you have may be conflicting but I will page @rosemow and @luthienrising to help further

I'm in the process of repairing now. I've already removed all of the mods and reset as instructed by @rosemow on a different thread with a similar issue. If repairing doesn't work she suggested traveling so I'll try that and hope for the best. Couldn't find that thread before I started this one.

luthienrising is up on all the mods that will not work with the new patch. She will probably know if there are updated mods for you too should you need that info.

I know it's not the mods because I removed all of them and the issue remains. I have repaired also and still have the issue. Just tried traveling and it didn't help. Currently moving lots and hoping to move back into the same one after moving somewhere else first.

Update: Moving fixed it and I was able to move them back to the same lot.

Was there by any chance a newborn in your household at the time this issue arised?

I'm having the same problem. I did everything he did and it's still not fixed. But yes, now that you said, I have twin newborns in my household and it apparently coincided with not being able to bathe toddlers anymore. What does that mean? Please help, this issue is frustrating me, I don't wanna cheat their needs full everytime they just need a bath. T.T

The issue seems to be occurring when there is a baby in the household.
Once your twin babies are aged up, you won't have the issues.

Thank you for answering. I'll wait a little more and age up my twin newborns and see what happens.

I read a really old post about this happening because of privacy issues, even when the baby was not close to the bathroom the adults would think there was someone watching and that's why they cancelled the action of taking a shower. Is that for the same reason now? 'Cause I have a no privacy mod, shouldn't work in that case? (it was working fine with all the mods before the twins were born).

There seems to be something in the game code that is triggered when a baby and toddler are in the same home, and the toddler is being bathed.

I am having the same issue again - moving my sims out and back into the lot fixed it for a bit, but now the issue is back. I do have a baby in the household too. Should this be reported as a bug?

There was an infant, and her bassinet was right outside the bathroom. I aged up the child shortly after moving back in so I don't know if that was related or not.
