Book royalties and rotational play

So I rotate my play across multiple families (around 20 I believe). A couple of my families write books. I know that the royalties for books run out at around 20 days, but does this include the time I'm not playing that particular family? Also, if I pause aging will that stretch out the days you receive your royalty payments? Thanks a bundle!

When you are not playing the household, they won't receive the royalties.
If you pause ageing, it won't lengthen the amount of days that sims receive royalty payments. Days stilll pass by when aging is off, but sims just don't age.

I think for books it doesn't count the days you're away, but for songs it does. At least I seem to have trouble getting royalties from songs I licensed earlier. Can anyone confirm this?

Really after 20 days you won't get royalties? I still get royalties, even through 20 days have passed...

I believe it's 20 days per item. So older books eventually drop off of the royalties list, though they may drop off the list sooner (but still get royalties) if you fill it up.

Actually, old books didn't drop off the royalties list, so the newer books aren't seen on that list (So I'm getting royalties from every book, no matter how old they are).
