Okay, I didn't know some of this* info and even I have to admit that some of the things in this EP are making me want to overlook some of the cons I have with it. Which is a first for me... I feel a flicker of something deep inside. PEPS, is that you? O_o

I don't like being this conflicted, I'm not entirely sure how to respond to this EP now. I need to think.

Yeah, I'm being very tempted at the moment. :) I can already see soooo many potential stories from using the lot traits.

Me too, me too! I almost squealed at the idea of the cursed/haunted one. Like, full of squeal. /cringe

    My heart can't take it.

ETA: NO! You must be strong To7mas! Somebody tie me up or something.

We has elephants on the dark side. Cookies weren't selling it anymore.

    I couldn't resist

Haha okay this made me LOL for real.

Elephants or cookies though, you guys, you don't know what you're doing to me. Two of my five most favourite things ever. (Yes I have five. I couldn't decide lol)

Seriously though, I don't know what to do. The Sims Fanboy in me is telling me to GO, GO, GO, BUY, BUY, BUY but the logical part of me is saying it's not going to fix no toddlers and culling.

    You really want to know? Weeellllll, to refrain from taking this way off topic I'll keep it quick;

    1. My dog
    2. My job (no lie)
    3. Elephants
    4. Chocolate Chip Cookies**
    5. Anything supernatural or magical lol.

    --T

**typo Although I DO love chocolate I love cookies more. Added the 'chip cookie bit' *facepalm*

You've got some weeks to go though so no pressure to make a decision. And even then you can wait to see some play throughs etc. Besides there will be more info coming out in the future weeks to that might seal the deal or break it kinda thing. :)

I'm so jelly now of your favs list. Not many people can say hand on heart number 2. (Unless I just happen to know a lot of peeps who aren't in love with their work, always a possibility!)

I never used to until I started doing this work. I jumped from job to job (usually retail/customer service work as it's easy to get into and I'm good at it or driving/delivery work)

Then I kind of fell into the work I do now, the dog day care, and it took off from there been doing it 4 years now... I honestly do love it.

Luth, please don't kill me for going off topic. I shush now lol.

It's possible to play without controlling everyone in a household. The Asylum and ISBI challenges are based on that.

It might be like the roommate feature in TS3. If you have TS3 University you can put up an ad for a roommate and get an NPC.

You can't. Confirmed that roommates are just the base game relationship.

Sort of feel like you but at the moment I'm just too skeptical of what something looks like and what it really is. I'm all too aware that many times trailers look much better than what is really possible.

The idea of earthquakes is fun, but what will be the result? Just a minimal screen shake?

The idea of traits is original but will they be any more effective than Sim traits are? Some traits for some apartments are locked, but can I give any apartment the bad traits?

Yesterday I saw one of the devs say that the inside of apartments can be redone but some things like the electrical panels can't moved. Does that mean I can't use things like the bad electrical or leaky pipes in my own builds?

Is the camera bounce going to be fixed? If not penthouses are useless to me.

I have to wait and see what info comes out because I'm just too skeptical right now.

Yeah, this pack is a pretty heavy mix of things I absolutely must have and things I don't care for at all (particularly everything that's happened with apartments)

I might still buy it, but only at half price.

All that tweet does is verify what I already know. Sims have been able to have roommates since the beginning. It doesn't rule out NPC roommates. I don't assume anything is a given with TS4. Like I said I'm in wait and see mode.

You got me thinking with this! Now I'm super curious if we can put electric boxes and plumbing pipes in our houses. If so that might be a slight nod to builders. I know it's not being able to build apartments, but it could make for some interesting houses. They may be apartment specific though. I'll be keeping my eye out for word on that.

You sound like me yesterday right after the trailer/news came out, I was like nothings confirmed/denied yet. Although I think that more so confirms no npc roommates, but it could definitely be clarified more. You can always clarify more.
