Ever since TS4's release its been too quiet and we all no why- customers are unhappy, they know it, but don't want to face the facts and fix the mess that they started, so they try and bury it under way too many half-a .-s.-s-ed game, stuff and expansion packs.
OMG This is so unfair! Why some people say stuff like that when they've done a lot of things to make the game better? It's not all items and dlc!
We got ghosts, pools, more careers, family trees, basements, a new world, half walls, dishwashers... along with tweaks to the game like baby gender influence, tweaks to jealousy and reactions, welcome wagon and more.
Why would they stop if one of these additions happened just this month? Why are they quitet if they keep adding free stuff to the game and fixing it?
If Get Together isn't enough of an indication that they don't have any new ideas, I can't think of any other reason they would keep talking about the game.
After Gamescon they're obviously tired from all the dancing. I wouldn't expect anything for quite some time when they announce three more stuff packs to be released within a month. :P

But cool kitchen and spa day were like 1 month ago, why people want more content so quick? Before Cool Kitchen people were saying it was too much DLC all together and they are greedy, now you say they are too quiet lol. One can never make everybody happy...

Anyone else feel this? With the anniversary next week and the monthly patch and supposedly a Stuff Pack...shouldn't we have heard some sort of news by now?
I really don't see them doing much if anything for the anniversary, but didn't I read somewhere that they were going to have a new stuff pack every month? But maybe that doesn't mean the first week of the month. But I thought all the patches were done in the first week.
As usual, we'll just have to wait and speculate because that is what we have become accustomed to...
please change your "get together" expansion to the "ghetto gather" expansion... then it would be interesting at least.

Not even kidding when I say I would buy that expansion.

Someone in another thread said that since the anniversery falls on Wed there maybe a stuffpack announcement. Seriously though what I'd really love is more items added for pools since were getting natural pools in Get Together especially I'd love to see some pool waterfalls return.

I feel like their going to pull a simcity thing.......They released a ton of content, then slowly the patches ended then they were gone....no explanation no goodbyes, the game was done...I really hope that isn't the case this time, but none of us liked this ep "get together"....
It seems... okay. But compared to other expansion packs, the trailer leaves a fair bit to be desired - like it's not completely advertising why it's an expansion pack instead of a game pack.
Well, it's still just under 3 months away (depending when in November it's being released); maybe the dancing and stuff was what they had ready for the trailer, with other things still in development. I'm intrigued by the group dynamics concept -- and if they're adding a lot of activities to support all sorts of different groups, there could be enough content to totally justify it being an EP.

If the SPs are replacing the Sims 3 Store sets then we should be getting some sort of paid DLC each month -- SPs most months except for if/when we get GPs or EPs. Some people didn't buy Cool Kitchen because it wasn't to their taste, so I can see why they might want more content related to their interests. And there is still a lot missing -- we got pools but nothing really to do with them but either swim or sit on the edge and talk; we could use a Pool Fun pack with a diving board free DLC and pool slides, pool toys etc. in the pack, maybe some more swim suits for women/girls and trunks for men/boys and swim caps in the Hats category.

Well you know a lot of people was hoping we'd get the vibrating heart shaped bed during the woohoo weekend thingie but we didn't. Maybe we'll get that as a reward. I doubt it though.

I recall the UC "free" release differently, the old game launcher couldn't be updated to work with more advance origin so EA provided the UC to all thoughs that had registered sims 2 games to force the upgrade. I don't think it was available to anyone that hadnt already register the game before the close of sims 2 forum, though I have seen some post begging and pix of sims 2 discs got them a free code.
