Woohoo! I never get patches til evening, because I'm usually out in the afternoon. So excited to be off today and can catch the patch early! Gotta finish my housework ASAP! Lol
If that were true then for CST it wouldn't be only 2 hours to go. PST is 2 hours BEHIND CST. So 1 pm PST would already be 3 pm CST
I'm pretty sure the timing is all messed up. Lol.
And I think they usually release patches 11 am their time (PST) so for CST it would end up being 1pm for us. I am also in CST and that is when I usually see the patches roll out
I can't even build a great sim house to be worried about basements lol.....but one day I will make a great sim home lol
I think basements are perfect for non-architects. If you asked me to build a house, I will give you a box. Sometimes, there will be holes in them called "windows" and "doors".
With basements, at least I can hide the squareness of my underground abode.

Actually you can, you just don't know it. Do you know how I finally solved my problem in the series? I stopped using boxes and I build one wall at time and have done that for years. I may look at a picture of what I want to build (lay it beside you on your desk). Count the grid lines and decide where to place the front door. Then go from there. Don't worry about the inside blue prints. Do the outside first. With all your columns etc. (if any) One wall at time will teach you much better about how a roof would look if you do this or that. I have been doing this for years. I build the front wall, figure out the best place for the front door since Maxis still makes doors footprint off center (don't get me started, lol) and then your front windows etc. You can even draw (in all of them) the top wall just above the lower front wall to get an idea what the upstairs outside walls will look like. I will always be gratefull to the TS2 tutorials of how to build basements with the land terrain tools and arched bridges and curved driveways etc. (For effects). I read them all. I can't say I am a good builder, but I actually enjoy building things from other games in these games. You don't have to go the 'cubed' route at all.

Hope so! It's so great that they automatically reach properly to foundations! It will be so much easier than basements in S3.
Really? Ouch. Im in EST, so that means 4 pm est?
basements and moving the whole lot?

I don't believe there is an official time. I think people are guessing time frames, comparing when other patches were released.

That sounds right, it'll be 3pm CST, so yeah, 4pm EST.
The time on this thread is wrong if that is the time. It'd be 5 hours from now CST.
