I actually finished it before Thanksgiving, but I had to be away with family. It's quite not on the Gallery yet. The platforms are glitching out the columns that I've put on the lower sections (makes them jump up a level) so I'll wait until December 3rd (apparently it's on the 8th) for the patch update and hope that it gets fixed before sharing. Note: The platforms are still glitching I just changed the main stairs design.
This baroque-ish 17th century palace is based on the now-demolished Château de Saint-Cloud [sɛ̃ klu] which was a split level royal chateau built on a hill overlooking Paris. I think the platform tool is the best thing that's ever come up from The Sims 4 brand. It allowed me to finally somehow reconstruct this in game and now it's an important setting for my story. P.S. It's not for kids.
In my save, this build served as a winter retreat for the royal family. It got ruined by the Great Sloth Invasion though. (Elia by contrast lives at the Summer Palace, which was reconstructed by the original Bob the Butler). After years of neglect, the Commission restored the Winter Palace to its former glory (as a museum) and also established their HQ in its less-historical-chambers. This build is huuuuuuge and this showcase picture heavy! I'll hide the rest of the photos in here, so others won't have to scroll endlessly trying to skip it. LOL

Thanks if you browsed I mean I did work my butt off for this but if not, that's alright! Happy Simming and have an awesome day!
Your 3 Asian builds are lovely! @InuMiroLover The Japanese style exterior designs are lovely! Sento is a very nice restful bath house for sims to enjoy relaxing in the hot springs. The wall tiling mountain patten is calming for sims to see as they spend there. The furnishing of the interior of the two homes with items from the new pack looks very lovely! Very nice warn, calming natural colour schemes. Sims will enjoy living there or staying there when visiting Mt.Komorebi
Palais d'Hiver de Thebe is a very beautiful Palace build! @orenjiAi Both the lovely exterior architecture and the very beautiful furnishing of the interior areas looks so very special! It is so very detailed! Each room and area has been designed and furnished so very well! It looks very elegant and grand!
I just noticed this looking through my screenshots again, but didn't mirrors used to reflect past doors and windows and arches too? Like it showed what was beyond?
OMG @orenjiAi your Palais d'Hiver de Thebe is Stunning, Amazing and Beautiful Im in awe at such a huge and gorgeous build, so many rooms! I would never build anything like that I admire your work and patience I think you should enter it with Snow into the Spark'd Challenge after you get the patch, this challenge finishes Dec 11th
Napoleon Borntoparty made me laugh out loud I love his name, his outfit and his moves
Btw I think my fave colours were in the Salon of Diane room.
Omg @orenjiAi Palais d'Hiver de Thebe is so stunningly beautiful! It's even prettier in the snow too. The detail omg it's no wonder it's taken you so long to finish it! @luckyheather's not the only builder in awe atm too. Fabulous execution my friend
Hey @luckyheather! It's officially the start of the holidays! Hope you're all doing well! Thanks for looking through the pictures. I'm so happy! And also for the confidence in my build to encourage its entry into the Spark'd Challenges.
But I'd have to pass. The "columns jumping up the platform glitch" is kind of a huge deal for me since it breaks the Grand Staircase. I know it's a shame, but I'd rather share the build regularly and with full confidence knowing that it looks exactly how it is in my game when others download it. I'm open and still looking for alternatives to the columns though.
Funnily enough, I didn't even know there was a new challenge and a winter-related one too. Thanks for telling me! I just coincidentally built it in the snow because 1) it's appropriately called the Thebe Winter Palace and 2) my story calls for a lot that's a mix between Chateau Peak (overlooking a city), Von Haunt Estate (with the lovely roundabout), and Von-Windenburg (for the castle ruins). The snow would make it easier for me to piece the lot together. LOL
Thanks @Shaymantha! I digress. I have to say I built this rather quickly! Remember we thought it'd end up as a Happy 2021 build?? LOL
Newcrest Playground is a very lovely and colourful kids playground! @somewhsome The colors are very nice! The design of the building and the nook areas in it looks great! Sims will have fun playing battle stations , enjoy doing artwork on the activities tables and enjoy using the building blocks table. Very nice areas where they can have fun playing on the swings, monkey bars and on the slide. Very nice pool area! It is great there is a pets training course area! The nook area with the spaceship, UFO snd alien plants looks great! Very nice outdoors dining area! Sims will enjoy cooking meals on the bbq and eating the food at the long picnic dining table. The platform stage area with puppet theatres is very nice! The soft toys are cute! Very nice colourful cushions and sweet animal chairs to enjoy watching performances:)
LOL never mind my crummy old castle (it’s like 80% decoration), your Newcrest Playground is lit @somewhsome ! Seriously it looks amazing! You know, I’ve always loved those house shaped Scandi shelves from Nifty Knitting, but now, you made full sized functional ones! So nice! I also love your color coordination and it was creative of you to use roof pieces for the sculptural stage canopy. I see you’ve used the same technique for slides and crawling spaces. It’s a wonderful fun park for Sims to visit!
Sixam is a very stylish modern sci-fi home for Sixam! @chealsycat The alien plants and crystals in the front area and pink ivy on the wall look great! Very nice rooftop dj booth and glass tiling dance patio! The blue, black and white color scheme of the interior areas looks great! Very nice interior furnishings which suit sixam and the scientist theme so very well! Sims will enjoy using the robotics table and the science machine! The space pod bed is great for the home! Very nice bar counter area. The space piictures on the wall look great!
It is a very great and creative home for Sixam!
Hello! And a belated Thanksgiving to everyone! Hope you all had an exciting and safe holiday! Thanks if you browsed I mean I did work my butt off for this but if not, that's alright! Happy Simming and have an awesome day!
Snowy Escapes Villa is a very lovely modern Japanese villa family home! @luckyheather The stylish exterior design, architectural shapes and great roofing is very lovely! Very nice black and white colours! The loungers, bamboo tree and plants feature at front of home is very restful. Very nice hot tub, gym and meditation balcony areas. Very lovely furnishing of the interior! It is a very detailed build with many special areas! The platforming through the build, both indoors and outside looks very great!
I have posted more on your showcase thread

My latest post of "Canal Corner" is a compact modern design that is big enough for a family with 3bd & 3ba it is a reference for Google (I have uploaded the reference to show how close I got..) Enjoy! Use MOO before placing & artworks by @Mandykay77
Teriyaki is a very lovely Japanese restaurant! @AIRIS6962 Very great exterior design! Very nice patterned walls, the Asian style windows used are very nice and lovely roofing! The archway entrance and the greenery in the front garden is lovely! Very nice top level bar area for sims to enjoy sitting on the stools having drinks from the bar. The zen garden is very restful and peaceful! Very lovely Asian style furnishing and great layout of the interior!
