Thank you @StangMix2! I love your Mountain Lodge! I love your landscaping and the way you put the lodge on a elevated portion of the lot with the ponds and waterfall on the lower portion. Also your interiors are to die for!
@SireSamson, your mansion is perfectly grand and elegant looking! Wonderful work!
@BlueShreve , I love the rustic feel to your vet clinic. It looks like a converted barn. Too bad we don't have horses and cows like we did in TS3; I'd love to see a vet clinic that served large animals as well as small animals. Yours looks like the perfect large & small animal clinic.
The exterior design and the furnishing of The Del Rey is very nice! @ysa88 The large glass windows are very nice, creating a very ni elight filled home.
I have posted abut it on your showcase thread.
OK I actually finished it for real this time, I re did the exterior and misc things, "Samson's Mansion", lol :) Thanks for your comments, hope you leave some on the gallery!

@FaithofKaela Thank you! It is definitely the most detailed build I have ever worked on, with lots of small things in every corner haha. The roof was definitely one of the hardest parts of the exterior.
@Blueshreve your western style is amazingly spot on! Looks exactly how you would expect and captures the era so well!
@stangmix2 wow! that is the most breathtaking landscaping I have ever seen. It is so wonderfully natural and so well done!! Could I ask what pack those rocks are from? I didn't realise any of the packs even came with rocks haha. Also how did you manage to get them to stay up like that? Whenever I try to move objects outside of a room using 9 or 0 they always fall back to ground level when the lot is saved and placed again. Again just wow!
Finally fixed all the pathing issues in my Parisian house! Ended up actually having to redo a lot of things, pathing is much more complex than I ever realised haha. I also got rid of a lot of random clutter and lights in an effort to make the interior feel more natural. Also the waterfall does not look like what it does in the pictures, had to replace the rocks with plants because they wouldn’t place correctly, but it yet looks nice I feel
Story of the house:
When Ms. #Baroque met Mr. #Modern it was amour at first sight! But they couldn't decide on a style, thus a compromise: buy a Baroque house and replace the inside with ultra-#contemporary furnishings! Who wants #17thcentury appliances anyway? Ms. Baroque, though, couldn’t give up her beloved style and snuck in a #Parisian #woman-cave! #noCC #French #Renaissance #mansion #family #flowerbed #undergroundpool #hometheatre #balcony #openfloorplan #waterfall #statues #playtested #winecellar #attic
Because women can have man-caves too, but just classier! Now, however, the quirky couple has moved to the French country and their home is yours to explore and take care of! There are many small details to delight your sims in ever nook and cranny. This is likely the most detailed build I have ever attempted. I wanted to go for a clashing styles theme, modelled after the many old buildings in Europe that have recently been renovated inside. In my pictures I placed the lot in the middle of an urban area, however, I imagine it would work well in a more country lot as a decadent maisonette. Enjoy!
Note that you do NOT have to have MOO on to place the lot. I tried both with and without and everything places the same way
(Apologies again for all the pictures, I’m trying to work on my picture taking abilities in general, with lighting, angle, zoom, height, location, etc. Feels like I’m getting a tad better since last time haha).
View from ground level:
Standard view:
Back view:
Side view:
Night view:
Garden nook with waterfall, one of my favourite parts, took forever to make haha:
Other garden nook:
View of nook from first floor balcony:
Front and rear roof accents, these were definitely my favourite part of the entire build, just adore that European style of tympanums. Can also see the balconies here with a sitting and meditation area, quiet places to get away from all the bustle going on outside. The front accent I call the Winged Ballerina, and the rear the Winged Knight haha (yes I got super excited when I saw an item that could work as wings from Dine Out, and could work as waves! I couldn't decide between wings or waves so now they are wings with ships sailing on them haha):
Now for the inside! Which goes to ultra-modern style. First the dining area:
The super long kitchen:
The theatre-esque living room:
Ground floor parlour bathroom:
Overview of ground floor:
Overview of basement floor. This part is quite cool because this is where the "woman-cave" is haha, which is the only Baroque style indoors. I created a path which splits to Baroque on one side and modern on the other, which I felt symbolised the build overall quite well haha. And of course there's the wine cellar, which is always good lol:
And here's that clashing style hallway, modern to the left and Baroque to the right haha:
The underground pool:
Pool restroom:
The Baroque woman-cave!:
First floor aerial, decided a colour scheme felt like it fit the modern style haha:
Guest bedroom:
Children's room, ideal for fraternal twins haha. Or just anyone who likes cute wall bunnies
Study/Library (with a nice view of the front!):
Second floor overview:
Music nook:
Hallway:
Master bedroom with huge closet and statues:
Master bath:
Attic:
Anyway, so sorry for the giant wall of text and pictures! I went a bit crazy with the tab mode and general excitement over finally finishing and fixing pathing haha.
It is great that you have sorted out the issues that you were having with your build , and have uploaded your very special and detailed build! @Nore The exterior design of the building, the landscaping of the front area of the build, the layout of the interior, and the furnishing of each of the rooms and areas of the home looks so very nice!
@nore I like what you did with the front pillars using that piece to join them on the sides, even though that roman pillar is not symmetrical you tried to balance it out, but because you stacked them, the asymmetrical difference just seems to really stand out and almost looks "unstable", you might be able to get a more solid look with some other ones like you used, just suggestion, also like your crests alot, but with crests less is more and you might be able to make them look better with a couple items removed instead of the multiple use of the same, like the dogs or boats.
A barn on a beach!? Who would build that? Why, someone who raises seahorses of course. At Beach Barn Pet Supplies you won't find seahorses but you will find frogs and some insects as well as the latest trends of goodies for your pets. So hurry up and check out our great prices before the frogs eat the insects.
Beach Barn Pet supplies is retail store on a 20x20 lot (can fit a 20x15) in Brindleton Bay and will look good in any town. There is enough build space to add your own touches. There is a finished unfurnished loft that can be turned into a loft apt.
The barn theme design of Beach Barn Pet Supplies looks great! BlueShreve Very nice exterior, and it looks very nice how the sales items have been set up on the display in the interior. I have posted about the store on your showcase thread,
My last creation isn't that stunning. I've made a little starter for a family to Christmas. I hope you like it though and feel free to download it here.
